While playing to intro of Message In A Bottle Stewart asked the audience: "Three guesses what this is?".
Although a music tape was played after Message In A Bottle to mark the end of the show, the audience reacted so intense they brought The Police back for a second encore.
The complete show was recorded by the TV-station WDR for their "Rockpalast" program. It was repeated several times on the "Rockpalast Classic" program: 01-1992 (without Born In The 50's), 29-01-1995, 04-08-1996, 20-04-1997.

"Mark told me at the time when I met him in the early 80s that that was the original guitar (Maple neck) that he had used, I assume Sultans era.
The Body wasn't a Fender and the neck was a fingerboard maple neck that looked sketchy, it had been planed so flat it was terrible so we put a Schecter neck on it.
The whole guitar was a basket case. My memory could be failing but that is what I remember (pretty clearly).
Basically Mark could pick up the most unplayable guitar in the shop but it never mattered, he always could play it and get his tone."

Rockpalast (Rock Palace) is a German music television show that broadcasts live on German television station Westdeutscher Rundfunk (WDR). Rockpalast started in 1974 and continues to this day. Hundreds of rock and jazz bands have performed on Rockpalast. Some acts were recorded for broadcast throughout Europe and for retail sale. All-night marathon shows called "rocknights" were produced once or twice a year from 1977 through 2009. Rockpalast is involved in several German rock and underground music festivals, once sponsoring the Bizarre Festival.
The founder and long-time producer of Rockpalast is Peter Rüchel.
Not all of these acts were recorded and broadcast.

Robert Nesta "Bob" Marley, OM (6 February 1945 – 11 May 1981) was a Jamaican singer-songwriter and musician. He was the rhythm guitarist and lead singer for the ska, rocksteady and reggae band Bob Marley & The Wailers (1963–1981). Marley remains the most widely known and revered performer of reggae music, and is credited with helping spread both Jamaican music and the Rastafari movement to a worldwide audience.
Marley's music was heavily influenced by the social issues of his homeland, and he is considered to have given voice to the specific political and cultural nexus of Jamaica. His best-known hits include "I Shot the Sheriff", "No Woman, No Cry", "Could You Be Loved", "Stir It Up", "Get Up Stand Up", "Jamming", "Redemption Song", "One Love" and, "Three Little Birds", as well as the posthumous releases "Buffalo Soldier" and "Iron Lion Zion". The compilation album Legend (1984), released three years after his death, is reggae's best-selling album, going ten times Platinum which is also known as one Diamond in the U.S., and selling 25 million copies worldwide.
