A satirical commentary on the events of
World War II. Although the cartoon opens with a joke about similarities to actual dictators being unintentional, the three main bad guys are clearly
Hitler (played by a vulture),
Mussolini (played by a gorilla) and
Hirohito (played by a hyena). The three animals move into the forest, disrupting the peaceful lives of the squirrels and rabbits. The animals are forced to listen to and applaud the vulture's squawking, and are set to work. One evening, a squirrel sneaks a nut, and the three dictators beat it out of him.
