Petrocelli is an American legal drama which ran for two seasons on NBC from September 11, 1974 to March 31, 1976.
Tony Petrocelli was an Italian-American Harvard-educated lawyer who grew up in South Boston and gave up the big money and frenetic pace of major-metropolitan life to practice in a sleepy city in Arizona called San Remo (filmed in Tucson, Arizona). He and his wife Maggie lived in a house trailer in the country while waiting for their new home to be built (it was never completed over the course of the series). Tony drove a beat-up old pickup truck, always a little too fast. Petrocelli hired Pete Ritter, a local cowboy, as his investigator.
Petrocelli worked as a defense lawyer, and each episode followed a similar format, with the client apparently certain to be convicted of a crime of which they were innocent until a late-emerging piece of evidence allowed the protagonist to suggest to the jury an alternative possibility. These alternatives were never established as absolute fact, and the trial of the person onto whom Petrocelli turned the accusation never occurred, but the doubt raised was sufficient to secure the release of his client.
Orenthal James "O. J." Simpson (born July 9, 1947), nicknamed "the Juice", is a retired American football player, broadcaster, actor, and convicted felon currently incarcerated at the Lovelock Correctional Center in Nevada. Simpson played college football at the University of Southern California (USC), where he won the Heisman Trophy in 1968. He then played professionally in the National Football League (NFL) as a running back for 11 seasons, with the Buffalo Bills from 1969 to 1977 and with the San Francisco 49ers from 1978 to 1979.
Simpson was the first NFL player to rush for more than 2,000 yards in a season, a mark he set in 1973. While six other players have passed the 2,000-rush yard mark, he stands alone as the only player to rush for more than 2,000 yards in a 14-game season; the NFL changed to a 16-game season in 1978. He holds the record for the single season yards-per-game average, which stands at 143.1. Simpson was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 1983 and the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1985. After retiring from professional football, he had a career as a football broadcaster and actor.
Barry Foster Newman (born November 7, 1938) is an American film, television and stage actor, known for his portrayal of Kowalski in the movie Vanishing Point, and for his title role in the 1970s television series Petrocelli. He has been nominated for a Golden Globe and Emmy awards.
The son of an Austrian father and Swedish mother, Newman received a liberal education, including such subjects as Latin, Hebrew, and music. Graduating from Brandeis University with an Anthropology degree, Newman decided to become an actor when he attended a class conducted by Actors Studio mentor, Lee Strasberg.
Newman was busy, if not well known, on stage and in Manhattan-based TV, notably the daytime drama, The Edge of Night. His first film was the gangster potboiler, Pretty Boy Floyd (1960) but he made his breakthrough with The Lawyer (1969), where he made an excellent impression in the role of a cocky gonzo attorney, a character reprised in the 1974 TV movie Night Games.
Lalo Schifrin (born June 21, 1932) is an Argentine pianist, composer, arranger and conductor. He is best known for his film and TV scores, such as the "Theme from Mission: Impossible". He has received four Grammy Awards and six Oscar nominations. Schifrin, associated with the jazz music genre, is also noted for work with Clint Eastwood in the late 1960s, 1970s and 1980s, particularly the Dirty Harry films.
Schifrin was born Boris Claudio Schifrin in Buenos Aires to Jewish parents. His father, Luis Schifrin, led the second violin section of the orchestra at the Teatro Colón for three decades. the age of six, Schifrin began a six-year course of study on piano with Enrique Barenboim, the father of the pianist and conductor Daniel Barenboim. At age 16, Schifrin began studying piano with the Greek-Russian expatriate Andreas Karalis, former head of the Kiev Conservatory, and harmony with Argentine composer Juan Carlos Paz. During this time, Schifrin also became interested in jazz.

This is the second intro, no longer giving the background on how Petrocelli and his wife moved from New York City to the Southwest.

For a quiet rural area, Petrocelli seems to have no trouble running into his share of murderers to defend.

O meu quarto é um cinema
Vejo sempre a mesma cena
Eu pensando nesse nosso amor
E do teto faço a tela
A luz entra da janela
Os meus olhos são o projetor
O filme então começa, logo você vem
Ver você sorrir me faz tão bem
Se eu percebo alguém vindo
Finjo que estou dormindo
E a cena muda de lugar
Nós estamos de mãos dadas
Caminhando numa estrada
O telefone mudo, o filme segue assim
Falando de um amor que não tem fim...
Um amor que não quer mais
Ser sessão da tarde
Que tem pressa de realidade
Que pra se completar falta metade... você
