Wyne Lay

Wyne Lay (Burmese: ဝိုင်းလေး-ဝိုင္းေလး; born August 03, 1994) is a Myanmar ambassador for Miss World 2014 as well as professional singer, songwriter and pianist. Wyne is the very first Miss World Myanmar after Myanmar had revitalized the participation in Miss World Beauty Pageant Competition. Wyne has been raised up as a talented artist from her childhood in both Myanmar traditional and international music.

Early life

Wyne Lay, as known as Wint Yee Shun, was delivered from Moe Kyaw and Nu Nu on 03 August 1994, at No.2 Military Hospital, Dagon Township, Yangon, Myanmar. Wyne has two lovely sisters and she is the youngest one among her siblings. Her destiny started in 1997, the opportunity had opened for her passions upon musical spirit while she attended pre-school at Bathoo, which locate in southern Shan State and since then she constantly polish her skills to become as a professional artist.

Education

Wyne’s family moved to Sittwe, Rakhine State, in 1999, and Wyne was attending her primary grades at Number 111, Basic Education Middle School (BEMS) in Meikhtila, which locate in Mandalay Region, since from 2000 to 2002. Wyne studied her fifth grade at Number 1, BEMS, for one year and continued her high school at Number 2, Basic Education High School, Bahan. In 2010, her successfulness was highlight by achieving four flying colour distinctions when she passed her high school graduation. After that, Wyne dedicatedly joined University of Foreign Language (UFL), Yangon, specialised module in French Major. Wyne also attended extra French Language class, run by French Embassy apparently. Wyne successfully finished her degree BA(French) in 2013 from YUFL (University of Foreign Language, Yangon).

Wyne or Wynne (Urdu: وائیں‎) is a clan of Jat tribe in Pakistan. Some consider Wyne to be sub-clan of Bhat clan. General Khalid Shameem Wynne is a member of Wyne tribe.

Wyne (Own Creator) (Burmese: ဝိုင်း; born 22 December 1973) is a Myanmar Academy Award winning film director, and screenwriter of Burmese cinema. He is best known for his Directed short film named "Ban that Scene". He was a successful director in earlier of his career directing Music Videos after he started his career as a supporting actor in Myanmar Movies/Films. However, his real success comes in 2011 with his made movie named Adam, Eve and Datsa which leads the actor and actress to get awarded for Myanmar Motion Picture Academy Awards. The movie was shown in Singapore, L.A. and was a big release in Myanmar.

Biography

He started his career as a supporting actor in Myanmar Films since early 19th. Then he furthered his career as a Director of Music Video in Myanmar. Most of his directed music videos were hits all over Myanmar such as: Ma May Par Nae, Min Ta Yout Tar, both by Myanmar Group Singer Blueberry.

WMCE (AM)

WMCE is an oldies formatted broadcast radio station licensed to North East, Pennsylvania, serving North East and Erie in Pennsylvania and Ripley in New York. WMCE is owned and operated by Mercyhurst University and the station director is "Captain" Dan Geary.

History

This station first signed on the air as WHYP on September 5, 1966. The station was founded by James D. Brownyard.

It was joined less than two years later by its like-named sister station, WHYP-FM (now WRKT), operating at 100.9. Like many co-owned FM stations of the era, it simulcast its AM sister during the daytime and provided local radio service after the AM station left the air after local sunset. Those hours of operation continue today for WMCE.

First sale

In January 1989, both WHYP-AM/FM were sold to Rambaldo Communications and went "All Beatles' with album sides until Rocket 101/1530 Launched in June of 1989.
