Driver filmed in shocking road rage spat pleads guilty in Mandurah court

A man involved in a shocking road rage attack caught on camera earlier this year has pleaded guilty to careless driving and criminal damage in Mandurah Magistrates Court.

Patryk Kamal Singh was charged following the January 12 offences which involved him causing $1740 worth of damage to another driver's vehicle, and swerving across the road.

Despite indicating not guilty pleas during earlier court appearances, Singh pleaded guilty on Tuesday and was remanded on bail.

The court heard Singh wanted to write a letter of apology and pay for the damage he caused before being sentenced on July 1.

The 24-year-old was charged by police after video footage of the attack, which happened on Old Coast Road, was posted online.

The video, which was uploaded to a Mandurah-focused Facebook page and subsequently went viral online, shows Singh leaving his black Suzuki to kick and hit a vehicle from which the victims were filming.
