Εγνώρισα κάποια φορά σ' ένα καράβι ξένο,
έναν πολύ παράξενο Εγγλέζο θερμαστή,

Όλοι έλεγαν μια θλιβερήν, πως είχε ιστορία

Έλεγαν ότι κάποτες απ' το λαιμό ως τα νύχια,
είχε σε κάποιο μακρινό τόπο στιγματιστεί.
Είχε στα μπράτσα του σταυρούς, σπαθιά ζωγραφισμένα,
μια μπαλαρίνα στην κοιλιά που εχόρευε γυμνή
κι απά στο μέρος της καρδιάς στιγματισμένη είχε,
με στίγματα ανεξάλλειπτα μιαν άγρια καλλονή.
Κι έλεγαν, ότι τη γυναίκα αυτή είχε αγαπήσει,
μ' άγριαν αγάπη, ακράτητη, βαθειά κι αληθινή.
Κι αυτή πως τον απάτησε με κάποιον ναύτη αράπη,
γιατί ήτανε μια αναίσθητη γυναίκα και κοινή.
Τότε προσπάθησε αυτός να διώξει απ' το νου του,
την ξωτική που αγάπησε τόσο βαθειά ομορφιά
κι από κοντά του εξάλλειψεν, ό,τι δικό της είχε,
μα έμεινε όμως στης καρδιάς τη θέση η ζωγραφιά.
Πολλές φορές στα σκοτεινά τον είδανε τα βράδυα,
με βότανα το στήθος του να τρίβει θερμαστές.
Του κάκου, γνώριζεν αυτός, καθώς το ξέρουμε όλοι,
ότι του Ανάμ τα στίγματα δεν βγαίνουνε, ποτές.
Κάποια βραδιά ως περνούσαμε από το Bay of Bisky,
μ' ένα μικρό τον βρήκανε στα στήθια του σπαθί.
Ο πλοίαρχος είπε, θέλησε το στίγμα του να σβήσει
και διάταξε, στη θάλασσα την κρύα να κηδευτεί.

Prince William, Duke of Cambridge, Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge, and their son, Prince George, greeting members of the Royal Air Force at RAF Fairford.
Prince William and Kate, were joined by their young son Prince George on a visit to the Royal International Air Tattoo at RAF Fairford on Friday.
Prince George, who celebrates his third birthday in two weeks, wore blue ear defenders as William and Kate toured one of the world's largest military air shows.
George got the chance to sit in the cockpit of a Red Arrow Hawk and was shown the inner workings of a Squirrel helicopter during the visit.
The trip was the first time the young prince has joined his parents on an official engagement in the UK.

Prince William, Duke of Cambridge
Prince William, Duke of Cambridge, KG, KT, ADC(P) (William Arthur Philip Louis; born 21 June 1982) is the elder son of Charles, Prince of Wales, and Diana, Princess of Wales. He is second in line to succeed his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, after his father.
William was educated at four schools in the United Kingdom and obtained a degree from the University of St Andrews. He spent parts of a gap year in Chile, Belize, and Africa. In December 2006, he completed 44 weeks of training as an officer cadet, being commissioned in the Blues and Royals Regiment. In April 2008, he qualified as a pilot (earning his wings) by completing pilot training at Royal Air Force College Cranwell. He then underwent helicopter flying training in order to become a full-time pilot with the RAF Search and Rescue Force in early 2009. His more than seven-and-a-half years of full-time service with the British Armed Forces ended in September 2013.
William married Catherine Middleton, on 29 April 2011 at Westminster Abbey. Hours prior to the event, he was created Duke of Cambridge, Earl of Strathearn, and Baron Carrickfergus. Their first child, Prince George of Cambridge, was born on 22 July 2013, and their second, Princess Charlotte of Cambridge, was born on 2 May 2015.

Prince
A prince is a male ruler, monarch, or member of a monarch's or former monarch's family. Prince is also a hereditary title in the nobility of some European states. The feminine equivalent is a princess. The English word derives, via the French word prince, from the Latin noun princeps, from primus (first) + capio (to seize), meaning "the chief, most distinguished, ruler, prince".
Historical background
The Latin word prīnceps (older Latin *prīsmo-kaps, literally "the one who takes the first [place/position]"), became the usual title of the informal leader of the Roman senate some centuries before the transition to empire, the princeps senatus.
Emperor Augustus established the formal position of monarch on the basis of principate, not dominion. He also tasked his grandsons as summer rulers of the city when most of the government were on holiday in the country or attending religious rituals, and, for that task, granted them the title of princeps.

Εγνώρισα κάποια φορά σ' ένα καράβι ξένο,
έναν πολύ παράξενο Εγγλέζο θερμαστή,
όπου δε μίλαγε ποτέ κι ούτε ποτέ είχε φίλους
και μόνο πάντα εκάπνιζε μια πίπα σκαλιστή.
Όλοι έλεγαν μια θλιβερήν, πως είχε ιστορία
κι όσοι είχανε στο στόκολο με δαύτον εργαστεί.
Έλεγαν ότι κάποτες απ' το λαιμό ως τα νύχια,
είχε σε κάποιο μακρινό τόπο στιγματιστεί.
Είχε στα μπράτσα του σταυρούς, σπαθιά ζωγραφισμένα,
μια μπαλαρίνα στην κοιλιά που εχόρευε γυμνή
κι απά στο μέρος της καρδιάς στιγματισμένη είχε,
με στίγματα ανεξάλλειπτα μιαν άγρια καλλονή.
Κι έλεγαν, ότι τη γυναίκα αυτή είχε αγαπήσει,
μ' άγριαν αγάπη, ακράτητη, βαθειά κι αληθινή.
Κι αυτή πως τον απάτησε με κάποιον ναύτη αράπη,
γιατί ήτανε μια αναίσθητη γυναίκα και κοινή.
Τότε προσπάθησε αυτός να διώξει απ' το νου του,
την ξωτική που αγάπησε τόσο βαθειά ομορφιά
κι από κοντά του εξάλλειψεν, ό,τι δικό της είχε,
μα έμεινε όμως στης καρδιάς τη θέση η ζωγραφιά.
Πολλές φορές στα σκοτεινά τον είδανε τα βράδυα,
με βότανα το στήθος του να τρίβει θερμαστές.
Του κάκου, γνώριζεν αυτός, καθώς το ξέρουμε όλοι,
ότι του Ανάμ τα στίγματα δεν βγαίνουνε, ποτές.
Κάποια βραδιά ως περνούσαμε από το Bay of Bisky,
μ' ένα μικρό τον βρήκανε στα στήθια του σπαθί.
Ο πλοίαρχος είπε, θέλησε το στίγμα του να σβήσει
και διάταξε, στη θάλασσα την κρύα να κηδευτεί.
