This is the ultimate study music playlist for concentrating, focusing, and thinking. This is a collection of almost all the piano music for studying to help concentration and focus I have written so far. The playlist include study music that I have composed since 2010-2014. This is 4 years in the making. As many of you know, I have also been in medical school for the last 4 years as well. Thus, as I listen to this playlist, I see my experiences, studies, cramming time, tests and exam anxieties, all-nighters, etc. all flash before my eyes.
For those of you who have been following me through this journey and have kept up with this channel, I would love to hear stories of what these pieces trigger in your memories.
Thank you for those who have been with me on this incredible ride of music and medicine. I hope that my music has helped you focus, concentrate, or even relax and sleep. If it has benefited you in anyway, then I would consider my efforts worth while.
And also for those who have inquired about sheet music, I do not have any. Many of these songs were recorded in the midst of my medical school obligations and studies. I barely had enough time to release them. I'm really sorry!

Story behind the song:
Our kids give us great inspiration for our music. When Jon's 17 year
old daughter said how much she loved this song, Jon decided to try it.
He experienced a flood of inspiration. "Never has a piano part come
together this fast" Jon says. Steve experienced similar inspiration
while composing the cello parts. Since the lyrics suggest a bride
walking towards the groom in a ceremony we thought we would include a
quote from the Bridal Chorus by Wagner in the climax of the song.
(It is carefully disguised).
As it seems to always go, Paul and Tel didn't find the spot until they spent 9 hours driving around southern Utah the day before the shoot looking. After getting a little discouraged by not finding anything that great, they just happened to check out a little hidden spot right near Baker Dam and thought it was perfect for the song. The next morning we all loaded up the piano and headed out there to film, but after getting the Truck and Trailer stuck and waiting for the sun to move, we didn't get started filming until that evening having about 3 hours of light. It was so fun to film and play in the middle of the trees!

Piano
The piano (Italian pronunciation: [ˈpjaːno]; an abbreviation of pianoforte [pjanoˈfɔrte]) is a musical instrument played using a keyboard. It is widely employed in classical, jazz, traditional and popular music for solo and ensemble performances, accompaniment, and for composing and rehearsal. Although the piano is not portable and often expensive, its versatility and ubiquity have made it one of the world's most familiar musical instruments.
An acoustic piano usually has a protective wooden case surrounding the soundboard and metal strings, and a row of 88 black and white keys (52 white, 36 black). The strings are sounded when the keys are pressed, and silenced when the keys are released. The note can be sustained, even when the keys are released, by the use of pedals.
Pressing a key on the piano's keyboard causes a padded (often with felt) hammer to strike strings. The hammer rebounds, and the strings continue to vibrate at their resonant frequency. These vibrations are transmitted through a bridge to a soundboard that amplifies by more efficiently coupling the acoustic energy to the air. When the key is released, a damper stops the strings' vibration, ending the sound. Although an acoustic piano has strings, it is usually classified as a percussion instrument because the strings are struck rather than plucked (as with a harpsichord or spinet); in the Hornbostel-Sachs system of instrument classification, pianos are considered chordophones. With technological advances, electric, electronic, and digital pianos have also been developed.

When Jon's 17 year old daughter said how much she loved this song, Jon decided to try it. He experienced a flood of inspiration. "Never has a piano part come together this fast" Jon says. Steve experienced similar inspiration while composing the cello parts. Since the lyrics suggest a bride walking towards the groom in a ceremony we thought we would include a quote from the Bridal Chorus by Wagner in the climax of the song. (It is carefully disguised). As it seems to always go, Paul and Tel didn't find the spot until they spent 9 hours driving around southern Utah the day before the shoot looking. After getting a little discouraged by not finding anything that great, they just happened to check out a little hidden spot right near Baker Dam and thought it was perfect for the song. The next morning we all loaded up the piano and headed out there to film, but after getting the Truck and Trailer stuck and waiting for the sun to move, we didn't get started filming until that evening having about 3 hours of light. It was so fun to film and play in the middle of the trees! This is the ultimate study music playlist for concentrating, focusing, and thinking. This is a collection of almost all the piano music for studying to help concentration and focus I have written so far. The playlist include study music that I have composed since 2010-2014. This is 4 years in the making. As many of you know, I have also been in medical school for the last 4 years as well. Thus, as I listen to this playlist, I see my experiences, studies, cramming time, tests and exam anxieties, all-nighters, etc. all flash before my eyes.
For those of you who have been following me through this journey and have kept up with this channel, I would love to hear stories of what these pieces trigger in your memories.
Thank you for those who have been with me on this incredible ride of music and medicine. I hope that my music has helped you focus, concentrate, or even relax and sleep. If it has benefited you in anyway, then I would consider my efforts worth while.

Story behind the song:
Our kids give us great inspiration for our music. When Jon's 17 year
old daughter said how much she loved this song, Jon decided to try it.
He experienced a flood of inspiration. "Never has a piano part come
together this fast" Jon says. Steve experienced similar inspiration
while composing the cello parts. Since the lyrics suggest a bride
walking towards the groom in a ceremony we thought we would include a
quote from the Bridal Chorus by Wagner in the climax of the song.
(It is carefully disguised).
As it seems to always go, Paul and Tel didn't find the spot until they spent 9 hours driving around southern Utah the day before the shoot looking. After getting a little discouraged by not finding anything that great, they just happened to check out a little hidden spot right near Baker Dam and thought it was perfect for the song. The next morning we all loaded up the piano and headed out there to film, but after getting the Truck and Trailer stuck and waiting for the sun to move, we didn't get started filming until that evening having about 3 hours of light. It was so fun to film and play in the middle of the trees!
