The Airport was a short-lived radio show that aired from January 1995-February 1996. There were eight half-hour episodes that were broadcast on BBC Radio 4. It starred Roger Griffiths, Llewella Gideon, Felix Dexter, and Jo Martin. It was produced by Gareth Edwards

Information

Information (shortened as info) is that which informs. In other words, it is the answer to a question of some kind. It is also that from which data and knowledge can be derived, as data represents values attributed to parameters, and knowledge signifies understanding of real things or abstract concepts. As it regards data, the information's existence is not necessarily coupled to an observer (it exists beyond an event horizon, for example), while in the case of knowledge, the information requires a cognitive observer.

At its most fundamental, information is any propagation of cause and effect within a system. Information is conveyed either as the content of a message or through direct or indirect observation of some thing. That which is perceived can be construed as a message in its own right, and in that sense, information is always conveyed as the content of a message.

Information can be encoded into various forms for transmission and interpretation (for example, information may be encoded into a sequence of signs, or transmitted via a sequence of signals). It can also be encrypted for safe storage and communication.

Classified (rapper)

Luke Boyd (born December 13, 1977), better known by his stage name Classified, is a Canadian recording artist and producer from Enfield, Nova Scotia.

Life and career

Music career

Classified attended Hants East Rural High School in Milford Station, Nova Scotia. He started his own production label, Half Life Records, and released his first full-length LP called Time's Up, Kid, in 1995. After years of working on music and sorting through label contracts, Classified produced, recorded and released his ninth album, Trial & Error, and signed a nationwide distribution deal with Toronto-based, URBNET Records. Containing collaborations with up-and-coming Canadian artists like Eternia and DL Incognito, as well as Canadian rap veteran, Maestro, the album was one of the highest selling independent rap albums in Canada in 2004.

In addition to the release of Trial & Error, 2003 and 2004 were busy years for Classified. With the continuous support of VideoFACT, he was able to release two additional music videos for the singles "Just the Way It Is" and "Unexpected". Classified also continued to master his production skills and joined forces with some of Canada's most prominent emcees, including Choclair and Maestro Fresh Wes. He also teamed up with Shady Records recording artist, Royce da 5'9" and opened for Ludacris, Snoop Dogg, Busta Rhymes, The Game, Nelly, MC Grizzly, Captain Capota, Nas, The Black Eyed Peas and Black Moon.

Airport (2009 film)

Airport is a 2009 Bollywood film directed by Anubhav Sinha and produced by Anubhav Sinha and Anupam Sinha. It starred Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, Sunil Shetty and Arjun Rampal.

Airport (novel)

Airport is a bestselling 1968 novel by Arthur Hailey about a large metropolitan airport and the personalities of the people who use, rely and suffer from its operation. It was adapted to make a major motion picture starring, among others, Burt Lancaster, George Kennedy, Dean Martin and Van Heflin and inspired three sequel movies: Airport 1975,Airport '77 and The Concorde ... Airport '79.

Plot summary

The story takes place at Lincoln International, a fictional Chicago airport based very loosely on O'Hare International Airport.

The action mainly centers on Mel Bakersfeld, the Airport General Manager. His devotion to his job is tearing apart his family and his marriage to his wife Cindy, who resents his use of his job at the airport as a device to avoid going to various after-hours events she wants him to participate in, as she attempts to climb into the social circles of Chicago's elite. His problems in his marriage are further exacerbated by his romantically charged friendship with a lovely divorcee, Trans America Airlines passenger relations manager Tanya Livingston.

Airport (1993 film)

Airport is a 1993 Tamil action film directed by Joshi. It features Sathyaraj in the main lead along with Gauthami pairing with him. It is a different type of movie with no songs. It received positive review from the critics. Malayalam actor M. G. Soman played the main villain.

Plot

Sathyaraj is a pilot,who works in Indian airlines who fly only government planes.

Once a M.P.(villain) calls him and says him that his daughter who have gone tour to Karachi along with her friends were not able to return due to political issues, M.P ask him to bring his daughter safely and Sathyaraj agrees it. He drives a private helicopter to Karachi to bring back her and he succeeds in it. Sathyaraj unknowingly lefts his Flying license in the helicopter. This is noticed and he is arrested by Nassar the police officer, Sathyaraj's widowed mother & his sister begs the police not to arrest. Nassar files him case on terrorist activity & weapons handling.

Sathyaraj is released after 2 years, once while walking with Gautami he sees one of the terrorists whom he had seen while traveling with him in Karachi. While chasing him in the streets of Mumbai he finds his sister. His,sister turned mute after the arrest of her brother & her mother who dies on the incident. Finally Sathyaraj plans to expose the M.P to the public red handily, but the situation becomes worse the M.P who takes Gautami & his sister as hostages.

Together (2002 film)

Together (Chinese: 和你在一起; pinyin: Hé nÇ? zài yÄ«qÇ?) is a 2002 Chinese drama film directed by Chen Kaige and starring Tang Yun, Liu Peiqi, Chen Hong, and Wang Zhiwen. The film premiered on September 10, 2002 at the Toronto International Film Festival, and was commercially released in China ten days later.

Written by Chen Kaige and Xue Xiaolu, the plot revolves around a thirteen-year-old violin prodigy Liu Xiaochun and his father Liu Cheng who move to Beijing from a small southern town. It is Liu Cheng's biggest dream that Xiaochun may find a good teacher in the city and rise to stardom. After studying under two teachers, however, the boy finds that he has learned not just music, but what is really important in life.

Plot

Liu Cheng (Liu Peiqi) is a widowed cook making his living in a small southern town in China. His thirteen-year-old son, Liu Xiaochun (Tang Yun), is a violin prodigy. In the hope that Xiaochun might find success as a violinist, Liu Cheng and Xiaochun travel to Beijing to participate in a competition organized by the Children's Palace, an arts institution for school children. Even though Xiaochun emerges fifth, he is denied admission into the conservatory as he does not have Beijing residency. Determined to realize his hopes for Xiaochun, Liu Cheng persuades Professor Jiang (Wang Zhiwen), a stubborn and eccentric teacher from the Children's Palace, to take Xiaochun as a private student.
