Derek Blasberg

Derek Charles Blasberg (born April 22, 1982) is an American writer, editor and New York Times bestselling author. He is currently Vanity Fair's Our Man on the Street and a senior staffer of the Gagosian Gallery.

Early life and education

Blasberg was born in St. Louis, Missouri, the son of Carol and William Blasberg, and has a brother named Christopher. After graduating as salutatorian of Affton High School’s class of 2000, he moved to New York City to attend New York University. He graduated with honors and two degrees, Dramatic Literature and Journalism, in 2004. His first job was as an assistant at Vogue.

Career

In addition to Vanity Fair, Blasberg is the Editor at Large of Vmagazine and VMAN, as well as the founding U.S. Editor of the London-based arts publication Garage Magazine where he developed a popular column called 'Emails from the Edge.' Before joining Vanity Fair, Blasberg was the Editor at Large of Harper’s Bazaar, where he profiled the likes of Lady Gaga, Tom Ford, Gwen Stefani and Daphne Guinness. In his career, Blasberg has contributed articles to the international editions of Vogue, W, Women's Wear Daily, WSJ., the New York Times, Teen Vogue, the London Sunday Times, Elle, 10, and Another Magazine. From 2006 to 2010, Blasberg was the Editor at Large of Style.com, where he wrote a column called The Blasblog. From 2009 to 2012, he kept a column called Fast + Louche in Interview magazine.

Selena Gomez

Selena Marie Gomez (/səˈliːnə məˈriː ˈɡoʊmɛz/ sə-LEE-nə mə-REE GOH-mez;Spanish pronunciation: [seˈlena ˈɣomes]; born July 22, 1992) is an American singer and actress. Born and raised in Grand Prairie, Texas, she was first featured on the children's series Barney & Friends in the early 2000s. In 2007, Gomez came to prominence after being cast in the Disney Channel series Wizards of Waverly Place, in which she starred as the lead character, Alex Russo, until its conclusion in 2012. She formed the band Selena Gomez & the Scene after signing a recording contract with Hollywood Records in 2008; they released the studio albums Kiss & Tell (2009), A Year Without Rain (2010), and When the Sun Goes Down (2011) before beginning a hiatus in 2012.

Gomez entered the film industry with star billings in feature films including Ramona and Beezus (2010), Monte Carlo (2011), and Hotel Transylvania (2012). She embraced an increasingly mature public image with her star billing in the film Spring Breakers (2013) and her 2013 debut solo studio album, Stars Dance. The latter project debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 and included the Billboard Hot 100 top-ten single "Come & Get It." Gomez was released from her recording contract with Hollywood Records following the completion of her compilation album For You (2014). She subsequently signed with Interscope Records to continue work on her sophomore studio album, Revival (2015). It debuted at number one in the US and featured the top-five singles "Good for You" and "Same Old Love" and the top-ten single "Hands to Myself."

Mr. Porter

Denaun Porter (born December 7, 1978), also known by the stage names Mr. Porter and Kon Artis, is an American rapper and record producer. He was best known as a member of Detroit rap group D12, until his departure in 2012, to focus on his solo career as a producer and rapper. In 2014 he rejoined D12 and was featured on the Shady XV album.

Career

Porter was an original member of Detroit hip-hop group D12.

Throughout his career he has both produced and performed vocally, producing songs for many notable artists such as Eminem, Busta Rhymes, Snoop Dogg, Royce Da 5'9" and 50 Cent (produced the song "P.I.M.P."). Mr. Porter has also produced two songs for rap group Slaughterhouse's major label debut, Welcome To: Our House.

Denaun is one of Eminem's hype man after the death of D12 band member Proof. He is also officially signed to Eminem's label Shady Records as a producer & has worked with Shady artists Slaughterhouse, Bad Meets Evil, 50 Cent & D12.

Mr Porter is now most notably seen supporting Eminem live, to add extra effect to shows or to allow Eminem to take a breath while in mid performance. In 2013 he starred Eminem's performance of Rap God live at the very first Youtube Music Awards (YTMA). In 2014 he supported Eminem at Wembley Stadium and at "The Monster Tour" with Rihanna.

Emma Watson

Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson (born 15 April 1990) is a British actress, model, and activist. Watson rose to prominence as Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter film series, appearing in all eight Harry Potter films from 2001 to 2011, previously having acted only in school plays. The franchise earned Watson worldwide fame, critical accolades, and more than £10 million. She continued to work outside of the Harry Potter films, first lending her voice to The Tale of Despereaux and appearing in the television adaptation of the novel Ballet Shoes. Since then, she has taken on starring roles in The Perks of Being a Wallflower and The Bling Ring, made a brief appearance as an "exaggerated" version of herself in This Is the End, and portrayed the title character's adopted daughter in Noah.

From 2011 to 2014, Watson split her time between working on film projects and continuing her education, studying at Brown University and Oxford University and graduating from Brown with a bachelor's degree in English literature in May 2014. Her modelling work has included campaigns for Burberry and Lancôme. As a fashion consultant, she helped create a line of clothing for People Tree. She was honoured by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts in 2014, winning for British Artist of the Year. That same year, she was appointed as a UN Women Goodwill Ambassador and helped launch the UN Women campaign HeForShe, which calls for men to advocate gender equality.
