Brad Leland (born September 15, 1954) is an American film and television actor best known for his role as Buddy Garrity in the NBC/DirecTV series Friday Night Lights. He has appeared in 20 feature films, 25 television shows and numerous theater performances.
Leland was born in Lubbock, Texas, but moved to Plano during his sophomore year in high school. While in Plano, Leland played football for Plano High School. He sustained a serious knee injury the year the Wildcats won the 1971 AAA State Championship.
In 1980, Leland graduated from Texas Tech with a bachelor’s degree in acting and directing.
After graduating from college, Leland moved to Dallas where he worked in local theatre and found an agent. He also got a part in one episode of the TV series Dallas and in an episode of In the Heat of the Night. He later appeared in seven episodes of the TV series Walker, Texas Ranger, in the 2003 Texas Chain Saw Massacre remake and as an executive in the film Hancock. His most visible roles, though, are that of football booster John Aubrey in the film Friday Night Lights and the similar character, Buddy Garrity, in the TV series of the same name.

Kyle Martin Chandler (born September 17, 1965) is an American film and television actor best known for television roles on Early Edition and notably as Coach Eric Taylor in the television series Friday Night Lights, for which he won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series in 2011. He has also appeared in supporting roles in films like Super 8, Argo, Zero Dark Thirty, The Wolf of Wall Street and Carol. In 2015, he began starring in the Netflix original series Bloodline, for which he received his fourth Primetime Emmy Award nomination.
Chandler was born in Buffalo, New York, the fourth child of Edward Chandler, a pharmaceutical sales representative, and his wife, Sally Jeanette Chandler (née Meyer), a dog breeder. Chandler has three siblings, one of whom helped him with his southern accents for Friday Night Lights and Bloodline.
Chandler was raised near Chicago, Illinois. When he was 11, his family moved from Lake Forest, Illinois to a small farm in Loganville, Georgia. Chandler's parents raised Great Dane show dogs, and he travelled with them to dog shows as a child. He also helped out at their dog boarding kennel.

Coach Taylor (Kyle Chandler) struggles between preparing for the game and dealing with the situation with Smash (Gaius Charles) as the town of Dillon piles on the pressure. Relationships also begin to form as Tyra (Adrianne Palicki) and Julie (Aimee Teegarden) start an unlikely friendship and Riggins (Taylor Kitsch) reconnects with his estranged father. Jason (Scott Porter) and Lyla (Minka Kelly), on the other hand, have problems of their own as Buddy (Brad Leland) finds out news of their engagement. The Panthers have to put all problems aside as their postseason fate begins with this first very important game. Connie Britton, Zach Gilford, and Jesse Plemons also star.

In lieu of all the troubles off the field lately, everyone is working extra hard to get their mind back into game mode.
