Um bate-papo com Geraldo Rufino, fundador da JR Diesel, pioneira e maior empresa de reciclagem de caminhões do Brasil.
A vida empreendedora de Geraldo começou aos 11 anos, quando morava com o pai e irmãos na Favela do Sapê, zona oeste de São Paulo. Na ocasião, começou a ganhar dinheiro pegando latinhas em um lixão instalado perto da favela onde morava.
Aos 13 anos, conseguiu seu primeiro emprego com carteira assinada. Iniciou a carreira no Playcenter, onde começou como office boy. Mesmo dentro da empresa, onde crescia profissionalmente, continuou com a ideia de criar um pequeno negócio para sua estabilidade.
Decidiu então comprar uma Kombi, que deu para um dos irmãos fazer carreto. O negócio evoluiu rapidamente para dois caminhões, mas, por ironia do destino, ambos se envolveram em acidentes simultaneamente. Sem dinheiro para comprar outros veículos, decidiu desmontá-los e vender as peças. Sua visão empreendedora mostrou que havia ali um mercado com grande potencial.
Nascia assim a JR Diesel, em 1985. Como ainda estava no Playcenter, deixou a nova empresa nas mãos dos dois irmãos, que perderam o foco no negócio. O resultado foi a quebra da companhia, além de dívidas em seu nome. Para resolver a situação, teve que entrar de cabeça no negócio. A ideia inicial era quitar as dívidas, limpar o nome e fechar a empresa. Mas, além de enxergar uma oportunidade de crescimento, também não queria abandonar os seis funcionários que tinha naquela época.
Foi tocando a JR Diesel e sua carreira no Playcenter, em paralelo. Mas, poucos anos depois, em 1987, acabou se envolvendo totalmente com a nova empresa e saiu do Playcenter. Foram 16 anos de companhia, chegando ao cargo de diretor da área que cuidava das unidades do Playland.
A escolha rendeu bons frutos. Os negócios iam cada vez melhor até que, em 2000, a empresa despertou o interesse de um grupo americano de concessionárias de caminhões. Em 2002, às vésperas da eleição presidencial no Brasil, os americanos abandonaram o negócio, deixando-o na mão. Entre 2002 e 2006, teve que trabalhar para recuperar o dano e mais uma das quebras. Neste período, para recuperar o dinheiro perdido e salvar o negócio, precisou vender carros, imóveis, entre outros bens. O erro estratégico, contudo, resultou em um grande presente: trazer os dois filhos, Arthur Rufino (responsável pela profissionalização da empresa e atual diretor de marketing e desenvolvimento) e Guilherme Rufino (hoje, diretor comercial e de operações), para trabalharem na JR.
Após 29 anos de mercado e muitos obstáculos superados, a empresa ocupa hoje uma área de 15 mil metros quadrados, contando com cerca de 75 mil clientes cadastrados. Desmonta cerca de mil caminhões por ano, garantindo receita de R$ 50 milhões em 2014, sendo a maior do segmento no país.
Mesmo quebrando seis vezes, Geraldo nunca deixou o sorriso no rosto e o otimismo de lado. E manteve o foco sempre na mesma atividade – reciclagem de produtos. Começou criança com as latinhas e plástico em um lixão. E hoje possui a maior empresa de reciclagem de veículos do país. A frase Pense Positivo não vem apenas da boca para fora. Geraldo usa isso como mantra.

Bellino foi responsável por trazer para o Brasil a mega agência de modelos Elite Models, fundada por John Casablancas, de quem se tornou sócio aos 21 anos graças a boas doses de audácia, persistência e, claro, competência.
Trouxe também para o Brasil a campanha das camisetas do câncer de mama, que engajou milhões de pessoas. Mais tarde, criou ainda a modelo virtual Webbie Tookay, sucesso no mundo todo e estrela de uma campanha da Nokia. Mas seu maior desafio ainda estava por vir: vender uma ideia a Donald Trump, em três minutos que ele usou muito bem.
Bellino é ainda autor dos livros “O Poder das Ideias”, “Sopa de Pedra”, “3 Minutos para o Sucesso”, “Midas e Sadim” e “Escola da Vida”. "The Man" is a slang phrase that may refer to the government or to some other authority in a position of power. In addition to this derogatory connotation, it may also serve as a term of respect and praise.
The phrase "the Man is keeping me down" is commonly used to describe oppression. The phrase "stick it to the Man" encourages resistance to authority, and essentially means "fight back" or "resist", either openly or via sabotage.
The earliest recorded use[citation needed] of the term "the Man" in the American sense dates back to a letter written by a young Alexander Hamilton in September 1772, when he was 15. In a letter to his father James Hamilton, published in the Royal Dutch-American Gazette, he described the response of the Dutch governor of St. Croix to a hurricane that raked that island on August 31, 1772. "Our General has issued several very salutary and humane regulations and both in his publick and private measures, has shewn himself the Man." [dubious – discuss] In the Southern U.S. states, the phrase came to be applied to any man or any group in a position of authority, or to authority in the abstract. From about the 1950s the phrase was also an underworld code word for police, the warden of a prison or other law enforcement or penal authorities.

Theodore "Teddy" Roosevelt (
/ˈroʊzəvɛlt/ ROH-zə-velt; October 27, 1858 – January 6, 1919) was the 26th President of the United States of America (1901–1909). He is noted for his exuberant personality, range of interests and achievements, and his leadership of the Progressive Movement, as well as his "cowboy" persona and robust masculinity. He was a leader of the Republican Party and founder of the short-lived Progressive ("Bull Moose") Party of 1912. Before becoming President, he held offices at the city, state, and federal levels. Roosevelt's achievements as a naturalist, explorer, hunter, author, and soldier are as much a part of his fame as any office he held as a politician. Roosevelt was 42 years old when sworn in as President of the United States in 1901, making him the youngest president ever; he beat out the youngest elected president, John F. Kennedy, by only one year. Roosevelt was also one of only three sitting presidents to have won the Nobel Peace Prize, the other two being Woodrow Wilson and Barack Obama.

Russell Ira Crowe (born 7 April 1964) is a New Zealand born Australian actor, film producer and musician. He came to international attention for his role as Roman General Maximus Decimus Meridius in the 2000 historical epic film Gladiator, directed by Ridley Scott, for which he won an Academy Award for Best Actor, a Broadcast Film Critics Association Award for Best Actor, an Empire Award for Best Actor and a London Film Critics Circle Award for Best Actor and ten further nominations for Best Actor. Crowe appeared as the tobacco firm whistle blower Jeffrey Wigand in the 1999 film The Insider, for which he received five awards as Best Actor and seven nominations in the same category. In 2001, Crowe's portrayal of mathematician and Nobel Prize winner John F. Em 2002, às vésperas da eleição presidencial no Brasil, os americanos abandonaram o negócio, deixando-o na mão. Entre 2002 e 2006, teve que trabalhar para recuperar o dano e mais uma das quebras. Neste período, para recuperar o dinheiro perdido e salvar o negócio, precisou vender carros, imóveis, entre outros bens. O erro estratégico, contudo, resultou em um grande presente: trazer os dois filhos, Arthur Rufino (responsável pela profissionalização da empresa e atual diretor de marketing e desenvolvimento) e Guilherme Rufino (hoje, diretor comercial e de operações), para trabalharem na JR. Após 29 anos de mercado e muitos obstáculos superados, a empresa ocupa hoje uma área de 15 mil metros quadrados, contando com cerca de 75 mil clientes cadastrados. Desmonta cerca de mil caminhões por ano, garantindo receita de R$ 50 milhões em 2014, sendo a maior do segmento no país. Mesmo quebrando seis vezes, Geraldo nunca deixou o sorriso no rosto e o otimismo de lado. E manteve o foco sempre na mesma atividade – reciclagem de produtos. Um bate-papo com Geraldo Rufino, fundador da JR Diesel, pioneira e maior empresa de reciclagem de caminhões do Brasil.
A vida empreendedora de Geraldo começou aos 11 anos, quando morava com o pai e irmãos na Favela do Sapê, zona oeste de São Paulo. Na ocasião, começou a ganhar dinheiro pegando latinhas em um lixão instalado perto da favela onde morava.
Aos 13 anos, conseguiu seu primeiro emprego com carteira assinada. Iniciou a carreira no Playcenter, onde começou como office boy. Mesmo dentro da empresa, onde crescia profissionalmente, continuou com a ideia de criar um pequeno negócio para sua estabilidade.
Decidiu então comprar uma Kombi, que deu para um dos irmãos fazer carreto. O negócio evoluiu rapidamente para dois caminhões, mas, por ironia do destino, ambos se envolveram em acidentes simultaneamente. Sem dinheiro para comprar outros veículos, decidiu desmontá-los e vender as peças. Sua visão empreendedora mostrou que havia ali um mercado com grande potencial.
Nascia assim a JR Diesel, em 1985. Como ainda estava no Playcenter, deixou a nova empresa nas mãos dos dois irmãos, que perderam o foco no negócio. O resultado foi a quebra da companhia, além de dívidas em seu nome. Para resolver a situação, teve que entrar de cabeça no negócio. A ideia inicial era quitar as dívidas, limpar o nome e fechar a empresa. Mas, além de enxergar uma oportunidade de crescimento, também não queria abandonar os seis funcionários que tinha naquela época.
Foi tocando a JR Diesel e sua carreira no Playcenter, em paralelo. Mas, poucos anos depois, em 1987, acabou se envolvendo totalmente com a nova empresa e saiu do Playcenter. Foram 16 anos de companhia, chegando ao cargo de diretor da área que cuidava das unidades do Playland.
A escolha rendeu bons frutos. Os negócios iam cada vez melhor até que, em 2000, a empresa despertou o interesse de um grupo americano de concessionárias de caminhões. Em 2002, às vésperas da eleição presidencial no Brasil, os americanos abandonaram o negócio, deixando-o na mão. Entre 2002 e 2006, teve que trabalhar para recuperar o dano e mais uma das quebras. Neste período, para recuperar o dinheiro perdido e salvar o negócio, precisou vender carros, imóveis, entre outros bens. O erro estratégico, contudo, resultou em um grande presente: trazer os dois filhos, Arthur Rufino (responsável pela profissionalização da empresa e atual diretor de marketing e desenvolvimento) e Guilherme Rufino (hoje, diretor comercial e de operações), para trabalharem na JR.
Após 29 anos de mercado e muitos obstáculos superados, a empresa ocupa hoje uma área de 15 mil metros quadrados, contando com cerca de 75 mil clientes cadastrados. Desmonta cerca de mil caminhões por ano, garantindo receita de R$ 50 milhões em 2014, sendo a maior do segmento no país.
Mesmo quebrando seis vezes, Geraldo nunca deixou o sorriso no rosto e o otimismo de lado. E manteve o foco sempre na mesma atividade – reciclagem de produtos. Começou criança com as latinhas e plástico em um lixão. E hoje possui a maior empresa de reciclagem de veículos do país. A frase Pense Positivo não vem apenas da boca para fora. Geraldo usa isso como mantra.

Um intenso bate-papo com Ricardo Bellino, empreendedor serial, fundador da School of Life e famoso por seu pitch de três minutos ao Donald Trump, tornando-se seu sócio no Brasil.
Bellino foi responsável por trazer para o Brasil a mega agência de modelos Elite Models, fundada por John Casablancas, de quem se tornou sócio aos 21 anos graças a boas doses de audácia, persistência e, claro, competência.
Trouxe também para o Brasil a campanha das camisetas do câncer de mama, que engajou milhões de pessoas. Mais tarde, criou ainda a modelo virtual Webbie Tookay, sucesso no mundo todo e estrela de uma campanha da Nokia. Mas seu maior desafio ainda estava por vir: vender uma ideia a Donald Trump, em três minutos que ele usou muito bem.
Bellino é ainda autor dos livros “O Poder das Ideias”, “Sopa de Pedra”, “3 Minutos para o Sucesso”, “Midas e Sadim” e “Escola da Vida”. Essa última obra leva o mesmo nome do seu mais novo projeto, que se dedica a levar ao público as lições e os conhecimentos adquiridos por aqueles que aprenderam na prática.

Bellino é ainda autor dos livros “O Poder das Ideias”, “Sopa de Pedra”, “3 Minutos para o Sucesso”, “Midas e Sadim” e “Escola da Vida”. Essa última obra leva o mesmo nome do seu mais novo projeto, que se dedica a levar ao público as lições e os conhecimentos adquiridos por aqueles que aprenderam na prática.

We make it back to the town of Corinth in this part, which is primarily a filler episode between the Halls of Colossus and the hunt for the fifth piece of the Staff of Chaos. We make it back to the town of Corinth in this part, which is primarily a filler episode between the Halls of Colossus and the hunt for the fifth piece of the Staff of Chaos. Most of the eventful stuff happens in the first few minutes.
Jagar Tharn, as has been said, sees us much more as a worthy foe. So much in fact, that he generously proposes to stop insulting me. I have finally gained acceptance, failing will no longer kill me but will instead give me everlasting life as one of Jagar Tharn's minions. Yet because the plot is pretty simplistic here, we can't really turn ship and betray Ria Silmane. Poor Jagar Tharn, forced by the game to be our enemy. He also sends a Stone Golem, this one I manage to kill, meaning that there has potentially been some progress between the Elden Grove and now.
We end up selling most of our random junk that we have picked up, but one of the Longswords turns out to be quite valuable. It is Steel, so it is weak in offense, but it has a Paralyzation spell. I can imagine numerous instances where this will be useful, my other two are great for combat but cannot stop attacks. Firestorm is good for destroying those that can't be killed with swords, while Lifesteal is good when I am low on life, but this sword is good in combination with Lifesteal so they don't just hit me down to low health right after healing.
I also note the time and decide to stop recording to make it into a 2-part video session. Of course, then I ramble on for about 10 minutes, basically making the entire reason of stopping pointless. I tried!
