So my 11th visit to Disney park was to the one in Hong Kong.
I'm so spoiled by Tokyo Disney Resort that I wasn't completely impressed by HKDL but Disney is Disney and I still had fun.
They had lots and lots of Duffy merchandises that you cannot find anywhere else and I think I finally feel like I have sufficient Duffy merch now.
I brought my little cousin with me and it was her first time to any Disney park. This was one of the rarer occasion where I wasn't alone. (If I was alone, I wouldn't really ride much and I would just repeat character greeting. haha)
Anyways, I feel like I've experienced more than enough at HKDL and I think I will just go to TDR from now on until I go back to Canada.
Duffy's 10th anniversary is coming up in a month and I think I will have to break my legs to stop myself from going... Maybe I will just go........................

Hong Kong (Chinese: 香港) is one of two special administrative regions (SARs) of the People's Republic of China (PRC), the other being Macau. A city-state situated on China's south coast and enclosed by the Pearl River Delta and South China Sea, it is known for its expansive skyline and deep natural harbour. With a land mass of 1,104 km2 (426 sq mi) and a population of seven million people, Hong Kong is one of the most densely populated areas in the world. Hong Kong's population is 95 percent ethnic Chinese and 5 percent from other groups. Hong Kong's Han Chinese majority originate mainly from the cities of Guangzhou and Taishan in the neighbouring Guangdong province.
Hong Kong became a colony of the British Empire after the First Opium War (1839–42). Originally confined to Hong Kong Island, the colony's boundaries were extended in stages to the Kowloon Peninsula in 1860 and then the New Territories in 1898. It was occupied by Japan during the Pacific War, after which the British resumed control until 1997, when China resumed sovereignty. The region espoused minimum government intervention under the ethos of positive non-interventionism during the colonial era. The time period greatly influenced the current culture of Hong Kong, often described as "East meets West", and the educational system, which used to loosely follow the system in England until reforms implemented in 2009.

Hong Kong Disneyland (Chinese: 香港迪士尼樂園) is located on reclaimed land in Penny's Bay, Lantau Island. It is the first theme park located inside the Hong Kong Disneyland Resort and is owned and managed by the Hong Kong International Theme Parks. The park opened to visitors on 12 September 2005. Disney attempted to avoid problems of cultural backlash by attempting to incorporate Chinese culture, customs, and traditions when designing and building the resort, including adherence to the rules of Feng Shui. For instance, a bend was put in a walkway near the Hong Kong Disneyland Resort entrance so good "qi" (chi) energy wouldn't flow into the South China Sea.
The park consists of five themed areas: Main Street, U.S.A., Fantasyland, Adventureland, Tomorrowland and Toy Story Land. The theme park's cast members speak in Cantonese, English, and Mandarin. Guide maps are printed in traditional and simplified Chinese as well as English, French, and Japanese.
The park has a daily capacity of 34,000 visitors — the least of all Disneyland parks. It has so far fallen short of its targeted visitorship figures. The park attracted 5.2 million visitors in its first year, below its target of 5.6 million. Visitor numbers fell 20% in the second year to 4 million, inciting criticisms from local legislators. However, the park attendance slightly increased by 8% in the third year, attracting a total of 4.5 million visitors in 2007. In 2009, the park attendance again increased by 2% to 4.8 million visitors. The attendance continued to surge and received 5.23 million guests in the 2009/2010 fiscal year. Since the opening of Hong Kong Disneyland, the theme park has hosted over 25 million guests. According to AECOM and TEA, Hong Kong Disneyland is the 15th most visited theme park in the world in 2010, with 5.2 million visitors.

Hong Kong Disneyland 2015
So my 11th visit to Disney park was to the one in Hong Kong. I'm so spoiled by Tokyo Disney Resort that I wasn't completely impressed by HKDL but Disney is Disney and I still had fun. They had lots and lots of Duffy merchandises that you cannot find anywhere else and I think I finally feel like I have sufficient Duffy merch now. I brought my little cousin with me and it was her first time to any Disney park. This was one of the rarer occasion where I wasn't alone. (If I was alone, I wouldn't really ride much and I would just repeat character greeting. haha) Anyways, I feel like I've experienced more than enough at HKDL and I think I will just go to TDR from now on until I go back to Canada. Duffy's 10th anniversary is coming up in a month and I think I will have to break my legs to stop... -

I'm so spoiled by Tokyo Disney Resort that I wasn't completely impressed by HKDL but Disney is Disn...
So my 11th visit to Disney park was to the one in Hong Kong.
I'm so spoiled by Tokyo Disney Resort that I wasn't completely impressed by HKDL but Disney is Disney and I still had fun.
They had lots and lots of Duffy merchandises that you cannot find anywhere else and I think I finally feel like I have sufficient Duffy merch now.
I brought my little cousin with me and it was her first time to any Disney park. This was one of the rarer occasion where I wasn't alone. (If I was alone, I wouldn't really ride much and I would just repeat character greeting. haha)
Anyways, I feel like I've experienced more than enough at HKDL and I think I will just go to TDR from now on until I go back to Canada.
Duffy's 10th anniversary is coming up in a month and I think I will have to break my legs to stop myself from going... Maybe I will just go........................

Since 1904, the city's nostalgic narrow double-decker trams have traveled through the crowded streets and are the most convenient mode of transport for covering short distances.
Most of the sightseeing tours around the harbor embark from Central Station, close to the ferry terminal. The journey travels past Kowloon and several huge cruise ships that lie at anchor. The quantity of ships highlighting the importance of this huge natural harbor that has been a regular destination of European shipping and trade since the 16th century.
Although not as large as it used to be, the city of junks known as Aberdeen, has provided the backdrop for many a motion picture and it is still a good place to buy fresh fish, fruit and vegetables.
