Ahn Sung-ki (Hangul: 안성기; born January 1, 1952) is a South Korean actor.
A Roman Catholic, he was born in Daegu, South Korea and grew up as a child actor - graduating Kyundong junior high school, from which Cho Yong-pil also graduated - appearing in director Kim Ki-young's celebrated film The Housemaid (1960). Starting from the 1980s, he appeared in nearly 100 movies. He was a later graduate of the Hankuk University of Foreign Studies. Because of his ability to speak several foreign languages, UNICEF appointed Ahn as a representative, and his image is often seen in advertisements on planes travelling to Korea. He acted twice as the President of South Korea in the movies the Romantic President (2002) and Hanbando (2006).
He had military service after graduating from university as an artillery officer (first lieutenant, 1974 ~ 1976) which he volunteered for.
On 23 June 2012, Ahn, along with Lee Byung-hun, became some of the first Korean actors to leave their hand and foot prints on the forecourt of Grauman's Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles. He was recommended by the Korean Film Producers Association for his body of work.

Ahn, also romanized An, is a Korean family name. Its literal meaning is "tranquility," from the Hanja character 安. In 2000, there were 637,786 people bearing this surname in South Korea , making it the 20th most common family name in the country, with roughly 2% of the country's population. North Korea does not release figures for surnames, but the percentage is expected to be similar.
The surname is also used in China.
In the traditional Korean clan system, which is still the basis of family registry in South Korea, each clan is distinguished by its bon-gwan, the notional ancestral seat of the clan. Typically each clan claims a different person as its founder, although there are exceptions. 109 Ahn clans are extant today. However, most of these are very small. The majority of Ahns claim membership in the Sunheung Ahn clan (the highest and most noble clan of Ahns). The Kwangju and Juksan clans are also quite large and are associated with "blue-blood" status; in addition to these, the Tamjin, Gongsan, Chungju, Dongju, Jeuongwon, Ansan, Jecheon, Angang, and Jucheon clans are significant.
Seeing you again
Was like meeting for the first time
In a foggy dream so many years ago.
Strangers in an airport
Searching for a word to break the ice.
Holding you again
Even for the briefest moment
Made me realize how much I love you still
Wanting you to want me
Still not knowing if you ever will.
Chorus
Seeing you again
Seeing you again
Was the sweetest torture
I may ever know.
Seeing you again
Seeing you again
Made me wish I'd never let you go.
Seeing you again
Running free along the beaches
Where our shadows first
Began to intertwine
Listening to your laughter
Wishing that you love could still be mine.
(Repeat chorus)
Did you only come to say
You're sorry
Or give it one more try
Or did you only need to see
There was nothing left for me
Inside worth saving.
Running for your train
You smiled back through the doorway
Like you used to
When our hearts still beat as one
And as I turned away
I knew the lonely days had just begun.
