Some species can be found in purple moor and rush pastures.
Angelica species grow to 1–3 m (3 ft 3 in–9 ft 10 in) tall, with large bipinnate leaves and large compound umbels of white or greenish-white flowers. Their large, sparkling, starburst flowers are pollinated by a great variety of insects (the generalist pollination syndrome), the floral scents are species-specific, and even specific to particular subspecies. The active ingredients of angelica are found in the roots and rhizomes and contains furocoumarins in its tissues which make the skin sensitive to light.

Naia is a 12,000- to 13,000-year-old human skeleton of a teenage female that was found on the Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico. The bones were part of a 2007 discovery of a cache of animal bones in an underwater chamber called Hoyo Negro (Spanish for "Black Hole") in the Sac Actun cave system. The remains have been described as the "oldest, most complete and genetically intact human skeleton in the New World". Her name is derived from a type of water nymph in Greek mythology - the Naiads.
The morphological traits of Naia's skull have been regarded as similar to those of Kennewick Man, a set of well-preserved Paleoamerican remains discovered in 1996, and other Paleomerican skeletons.DNA testing of Naia has classified the MtDNA Subhaplotype as D1, which is common in modern Native Americans. Subhaplotype D1 mtDNA has been found among the Ulchi of the lower Amur region near Sakhalin Island. Ancient skeletons on Hokkaido, the northern island of Japan, have also revealed MtDNA with a classification of Subhaplotype D1. However, some argue that the origin of Subhaplotype D1 was in Beringia. The purported Beringian origin of Subhaplotype D1 has led some to the opinion that Naia's heritage is with the migration out of Siberia to Beringia as part of a homogeneous founder population of Native Americans.
The Ninoy Aquino International Airport (Filipino: Paliparang Pandaigdig ng Ninoy Aquino) or NAIA /ˈnaɪ.ə/, also known as Manila International Airport (IATA: MNL, ICAO: RPLL), is the airport serving Manila and its surrounding metropolitan area. Located along the border between the cities of Pasay and Parañaque, about 7 kilometres (4.3 mi) south of Manila proper and southwest of Makati, NAIA is the main international gateway for travelers to the Philippines and serves as a hub for AirAsia Philippines, AirAsia Zest, Cebgo, Cebu Pacific, PAL Express, and Philippine Airlines. It is managed by the Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA), a branch of the Department of Transportation and Communications (DOTC).
Officially, NAIA is the only airport serving the Manila area. However, in practice, both NAIA and Clark International Airport, located in the Clark Freeport Zone in Pampanga serve the Manila area, with Clark catering mostly to low-cost carriers because of its lower landing fees compared to those charged at NAIA. In the recent past there have been calls for Clark to replace NAIA eventually as the primary airport of the Philippines. The airport is named after the late Senator Benigno "Ninoy" Aquino, Jr., who was assassinated at the airport in 1983. In 2015, all terminals at NAIA handled a record breaking annual passenger traffic of 36,681,601, domestic passengers totaled 19,513,514 compared to international travelers, totaling 17,168,087.
