Cover (film)

Cover is a drama thriller film starring Aunjanue Ellis, Razaaq Adoti, Vivica A. Fox, and Leon. The film was produced and directed by Bill Duke and open at selective theaters on February 22, 2008.

Plot synopsis

A woman accused could be either a killer or a victim in this psychological drama from director Bill Duke. Valerie Mass (Aunjanue Ellis) is a God-fearing housewife and artist who one day finds herself in a situation she never imaged possible—being questioned on murder charges by no-nonsense police detective Hicks (Lou Gossett Jr.) and Simmons (Clifton Davis), a district attorney eager to close this case.

As Valerie repeatedly insists she's not a murderer, she tells the story of the last several months of her life. Valerie's husband, Dutch (Razaaq Adoti), is a psychiatrist with a practice in Atlanta who was offered a high-paying job by his old friend Monica (Paula Jai Parker), who works at a hospital in Philadelphia. Dutch takes the job and Valerie dutifully follows, and she seeks solace in the women's support group at local church.

American football coverage shells

In American football, coverage shells describe the alignment and responsibilities of defensive backs.

In passing situations, the defense will assign players to guard portions of the field, forming a defensive "shell" that the defense hopes will either prevent the offense from completing a pass or ensure a defensive player is able to tackle the receiver after a completed pass. The general terminology used to describe this alignment is "Cover #," with "#" being the number of defensive players forming the coverage shell.

Cover 0

Cover 0 is a strict man-to-man alignment where each defensive back covers one receiver.

Advantages

Cover 0 is an aggressive scheme that allows for numerous blitz packages, as it's easier for players to drop off their coverage and rush the quarterback.

Disadvantages

The main disadvantage of Cover 0 is that there is no "help over the top"—if a wide receiver "beats" (achieves separation from) his defender, there is no one left in the secondary who can make up the coverage on the receiver, which could result in an easy pass completion and possible touchdown.

Catch 22 Live

Live! is Catch 22's first full-length live release, although fan-recorded live tracks were bonus features on several previous albums. Roughly a third of the album is devoted to Keasbey Nights, another third to Alone in a Crowd, and the remainder to Dinosaur Sounds. A bonus DVD includes footage from the concert, as well as a variety of extras. However, former frontman Tomas Kalnoky is conspicuously absent from the footage of the band's early days.

Live (The Dubliners album)

Live is an album by The Dubliners recorded live at the Fiesta Club,Sheffield and released on the Polydor label in 1974. This was to be Ronnie Drew's last recording with The Dubliners for five years as he left to pursue a solo career. Also following this album, Ciarán Bourke ceased to be a full-time member of the group when he suffered a brain hemorrhage. He sings "All for Me Grog" here. The reels that open this album (and which first were released on the group's 1967 studio album A Drop of the Hard Stuff) have become the opening instrumental medley at most of their concerts since.

Live (Jake Shimabukuro album)

Live is Jake Shimabukuro's 2009 solo album. It was released in April 2009, and consists of live in-concert performances from various venues around the world, including New York, Chicago, Japan, and Hawaii.

Live peaked at number 5 in Billboard's Top World Music Albums in 2009 and 2010. The album won the 2010 Na Hoku Hanohano Award for Instrumental Album of the Year, and also garnered Shimabukuro the award for Favorite Entertainer of the Year. In addition, it won the 2010 Hawaii Music Award for Best Ukulele Album.

AllMusic noted that, "Shimabukuro is a monster musician and boldly takes the ukulele where no ukulele has ever gone before, dazzling listeners with his blinding speed, melodic invention, and open-ended improvisations of remarkable virtuosity. Before Shimabukuro, the idea of spending an evening listing to a solo ukulele player was probably most people's idea of hell, but the 17 solo efforts here never bore. They show Shimabukuro's range and his humor as well."

Embrace (English band album)

Embrace is the eponymously titled sixth studio album by English alternative rock band Embrace. The album, self-produced by Richard McNamara, was released on 25 April 2014 in Friday-release countries and on 28 April 2014 in the United Kingdom by independent record label Cooking Vinyl. The album is the band's first in eight years, after the release of their fifth studio album This New Day in 2006.

Embrace, created with a goal to outdo their debut studio album, the critically acclaimed The Good Will Out, features a return to the band's original form, dropping the post-britpop influenced and commercially accessible sounds of their previous two albums, Out of Nothing and This New Day. Drawn by influences from post-punk bands from the 1970s and 80s, the album is the band's first experimental album, with electronic instruments and sounds and further influences from hard rock music. With the creative process of the album lasting a total of three years of writing and another three years in production, Embrace was recorded at Richard McNamara's self-built Magnetic North Studios in Halifax, England.

Acoustic (Everything but the Girl album)

Acoustic is the seventh album by Everything but the Girl, released on 2 June 1992. The Worldwide & The Acoustic EP's were reissued together by Edsel Records as a 2-disc Deluxe Set in 2012.

Track listing

Some digital downloads of the album – including those sold by Amazon and iTunes – have the fully orchestrated version of "Come on Home" (3:22) from Baby, the Stars Shine Bright rather than the pared back version from Acoustic. The error appears to be the recording company's.
