Welcome aboard EI-FAW for a short hop to Dublin. You join us as we wait in departures watching our ATR arrive on stand, followed by the walk out to the aircraft. We then push back on time and taxi out to runway 27. Departing on a WAL2T departure. We cruised at FL160 for about 15 minutes before descending and landing in Dublin 10 minutes ahead of schedule. First time trying the ATR and I have to say it was really really good! Couldn't fault anything with the flight!

Full length, uncut, real time flight with Aer Lingus Regional (Stobart Air), onboard ATR72-600 EI-FCZ, operating flight EI3701 from Birmingham (BHX) to Cork (ORK) on 15 December 2014.
*Every minute of the flight included from gate to gate, and ATC from our entry into Irish airspace*

The video begins on the ground at Birmingham, before we push back and taxi out for departure from runway 33. We make a left turn soon after takeoff, getting a great view of Birmingham city centre. We then head towards Hereford, making a right turn to cross South Wales and cross the coast over Pembrokeshire. A little cloud builds up but soon clears, offering us a fantastic view of Ireland's south coast on a beautiful morning. We eventually make a right turn to cross the coast and are treated to a beautiful view of Ireland's countryside as we descend on the ILS for runway 35 at Cork. We touchdown on schedule and taxi into the terminal building.

Welcome to part 3 of my Ireland series trip reports! While in Ireland I always wanted to see the Isle of Man, so I decided to make a daytrip from Dublin with Aer Lingus Regional, due Aer Lingus cancelling the return flight, I had to reschedule myself to the return flight, unfortunaly I'm still waiting for compensation till today
Overall verdict: 75%
In overall it was a nice and short flight, I was really happy with the nice and open terminal in Dublin and to log the ATR 42 in real retro look! Stobart Air delivered a good service on this 30min flight to the Isle of Man, It's a nice 1970-feel airport! BOB offerings where great as well as they where the same as EI mainline

Welcome to part 4 of my Ireland trip report series, after a wonderfull day in the Isle of Man it was time to head back to Dublin. I used one of the 2 daily services from Aer Lingus operated by Stobart Air to return.
Overall verdict: 77%
Pretty much about Stobart Air has been said in my outbound flight to Isle of Man (see Part 3)! The main difference was that our flight crew was rather business friendly on this leg! The main event was after arrival in Dublin how the ground staff handeled my lost Id-card issue! Very great and even with a bit of Irish humor ;)

On the 17th of February I headed across to Dublin for the day with my mate Hamish to do a bit of spotting for the day.
Dublin is a great airport with plenty to see throughout the day and is well worth visiting if you haven't already done so.
We departed Newcastle at 0830 onboard EI-FAW.
The weather was absolutely perfect for departure on the east coast, beautifully clear skies looking right over the toon.
We departed tracking northwest before heading Southwest tracking towards the Isle Of man, and then onwards for the arrival for runway 28. The weather was great and the flight was too.
Aer Lingus is a very nice airline to travel with. On its regional flights it doesn't go as far as BA does with complimentary service, but you do have the opportunity to buy food or drinks onboard their ATRs.
All in all a great airline to fly with.
Hoping to maybe pop across to Dublin again at some point this year ,well se how it goes.
Ive got some great footage coming Next week from Dublin so stay tuned.

Watch this video in Full HD On the 17th of February I headed across to Dublin for the day with my mate Hamish to do a bit of spotting for the day. Dublin is a great airport with plenty to see throughout the day and is well worth visiting if you haven't already done so. We departed Newcastle at 0830 onboard EI-FAW. The weather was absolutely perfect for departure on the east coast, beautifully clear skies looking right over the toon. We departed tracking northwest before heading Southwest tracking towards the Isle Of man, and then onwards for the arrival for runway 28. The weather was great and the flight was too. Aer Lingus is a very nice airline to travel with. On its regional flights it doesn't go as far as BA does with complimentary service, but you do have the opportunity to buy food... -

In overall it was a nice and short flight, I was really happy with the nice and open terminal in Dublin and to log the ATR 42 in real retro look! Stobart Air delivered a good service on this 30min flight to the Isle of Man, It's a nice 1970-feel airport! BOB offerings where great as well as they where the same as EI mainline

Welcome to part 4 of my Ireland trip report series, after a wonderfull day in the Isle of Man it was time to head back to Dublin. I used one of the 2 daily services from Aer Lingus operated by Stobart Air to return.
Overall verdict: 77%
Pretty much about Stobart Air has been said in my outbound flight to Isle of Man (see Part 3)! The main difference was that our flight crew was rather business friendly on this leg! The main event was after arrival in Dublin how the ground staff handeled my lost Id-card issue! Very great and even with a bit of Irish humor ;)

On the 17th of February I headed across to Dublin for the day with my mate Hamish to do a bit of spotting for the day.
Dublin is a great airport with plenty to see throughout the day and is well worth visiting if you haven't already done so.
We departed Newcastle at 0830 onboard EI-FAW.
The weather was absolutely perfect for departure on the east coast, beautifully clear skies looking right over the toon.
We departed tracking northwest before heading Southwest tracking towards the Isle Of man, and then onwards for the arrival for runway 28. The weather was great and the flight was too.
Aer Lingus is a very nice airline to travel with. On its regional flights it doesn't go as far as BA does with complimentary service, but you do have the opportunity to buy food or drinks onboard their ATRs.
All in all a great airline to fly with.
Hoping to maybe pop across to Dublin again at some point this year ,well se how it goes.
Ive got some great footage coming Next week from Dublin so stay tuned.

On the 17th of February I headed across to Dublin for the day with my mate Hamish to do a bit of spotting for the day.
Dublin is a great airport with plenty to see throughout the day and is well worth visiting if you haven't already done so.
