Built in the early 14th century, the water from this step-well is considered holy by millions of pilgrims who visit here annually.
Following its partial collapse in 2008, the Baoli was repaired in a challenging and risky operation. The repairs to the step-well commenced after extensive technical review, discussions with the Dargah committee and on removing seven centuries of deposits requiring 8000 man-days to remove.
The Baoli conservation is an example of a complex urban conservation project with multiple requirements that could only be addressed by a multi- disciplinary team and partnership of several government agencies.
The challenge of keeping this holy water clean remains with plastic and other non-biodegradable waste finding its way into the baoli causing severe pollution.
Since 2010, conservation works are being undertaken on four monuments, standing of the Baoli and at least two, both in private ownership, being contemporary to the Baoli.

Allama Mukhtar Shah Naeemi was born in Lahore Pakistan; his father Allama Pir Talib Husain Shah (May Allah send mercy upon him) was also very popular Khateeb in Pakistan.
Allama Naeemi completed his primary and secondary education in Jamia Naeemiyah Lahore. He graduated with a B.A from the University of Punjab, after which he was accepted as a student at the Islamic Naeemiyah University. After completing B.Ed, from Allama Iqbal University Islamabad, he graduated with a MA from the College of Hadith and Islamic Sciences Tanzeem-ul-Madaaris Karachi and MOL Muslim oriental law. Thereafter, he completed a M.A. in Islamic Theology from the Punjab University. Allama Dr. Sefaraaz Naeemi Motivated him to get Islamic Knowledge, so Allama Dr. Sarfarz Naeemi Shahid was his First teacher .Dr sahib taught him Arabic Morphology and Arabic syntax. Allama Mukhtar shah Naeemi Ashrafi started to deliver lecture when he was 19 years old and in 1998 he went to Dubai for speech. He did Umrah in 1998 and in 1999 he performed Hajj by Road. He gave speeches in Makah and Madinah. In June of 1999, the American Muslim of New York invited him to give speech on Milad Jaloos. Next year in June of 2000, Allama Naeemi Again Invited for lecture, giving lectures in New York, New Jersey, Virginia, North Carolina, charlotte, Michigan, California san Francisco, live oak, Chicago, Florida, Dallas And Houston. So Houstonians requested him to stay permanently. Since September 7, 2000 till now (September 7th 2013) he has been in one mosque named MASJID Ghous-e Azam Humble 5511 fm 1960 77338 (It is Allah's mercy).
He visited many countries to propagate Islam including, Dubai, Saudi Arabia, Canada (Calgary, Toronto and Montreal), Germany, Greece, Switzerland, Austria, Turkey, and Oman and continues to visit more.

Third Sheikh Ul Islam Allama Pir Syed Madni Miyan Sajjadah Nasheen Astana Aaliyah Kachocha Shareef India gave khilaafat to Allama Mukhtar Shah Naeemi on August 26, 2001 in America. Fourth Pir Tareeqat Teacher of Teachers Hazrat Allama Zubair Naqshbandi Malki Attaasi Alvee Gave Khilaafat to Allama Mukhtar shah, in 2008.
Activities
In America Masjid Ghouse Azam Houston Allama Mukhtar Shah Naeemi Ashrafi started his career on September 7, 2000 and with the mercy of Allaah he is still there propagating Islam day and night. He has given lectures since 2002 till now on the radio before Maghreb Azaan. In Ramadan Allama sahib gives 90 lectures: one during the morning on the radio, second before Maghreb Azaan on the radio and third after Taraaveeh at the mosque and by end of the Month of Ramadan, the total reaches to at least 90 lectures. Some of the famous institutions are sahitya kala parishad,urdu acadmy, sangeet natika acadamy, spic macay, ICCR GOVERNMANT etc.

Built in the early 14th century, the water from this step-well is considered holy by millions of pilgrims who visit here annually.
Following its partial collapse in 2008, the Baoli was repaired in a challenging and risky operation. The repairs to the step-well commenced after extensive technical review, discussions with the Dargah committee and on removing seven centuries of deposits requiring 8000 man-days to remove.
The Baoli conservation is an example of a complex urban conservation project with multiple requirements that could only be addressed by a multi- disciplinary team and partnership of several government agencies.
The challenge of keeping this holy water clean remains with plastic and other non-biodegradable waste finding its way into the baoli causing severe pollution.
Since 2010, conservation works are being undertaken on four monuments, standing of the Baoli and at least two, both in private ownership, being contemporary to the Baoli.

Allama Mukhtar Shah Naeemi was born in Lahore Pakistan; his father Allama Pir Talib Husain Shah (May Allah send mercy upon him) was also very popular Khateeb in Pakistan.
Allama Naeemi completed his primary and secondary education in Jamia Naeemiyah Lahore. He graduated with a B.A from the University of Punjab, after which he was accepted as a student at the Islamic Naeemiyah University. After completing B.Ed, from Allama Iqbal University Islamabad, he graduated with a MA from the College of Hadith and Islamic Sciences Tanzeem-ul-Madaaris Karachi and MOL Muslim oriental law. Thereafter, he completed a M.A. in Islamic Theology from the Punjab University. Allama Dr. Sefaraaz Naeemi Motivated him to get Islamic Knowledge, so Allama Dr. Sarfarz Naeemi Shahid was his First teacher .Dr sahib taught him Arabic Morphology and Arabic syntax. Allama Mukhtar shah Naeemi Ashrafi started to deliver lecture when he was 19 years old and in 1998 he went to Dubai for speech. He did Umrah in 1998 and in 1999 he performed Hajj by Road. He gave speeches in Makah and Madinah. In June of 1999, the American Muslim of New York invited him to give speech on Milad Jaloos. Next year in June of 2000, Allama Naeemi Again Invited for lecture, giving lectures in New York, New Jersey, Virginia, North Carolina, charlotte, Michigan, California san Francisco, live oak, Chicago, Florida, Dallas And Houston. So Houstonians requested him to stay permanently. Since September 7, 2000 till now (September 7th 2013) he has been in one mosque named MASJID Ghous-e Azam Humble 5511 fm 1960 77338 (It is Allah's mercy).
He visited many countries to propagate Islam including, Dubai, Saudi Arabia, Canada (Calgary, Toronto and Montreal), Germany, Greece, Switzerland, Austria, Turkey, and Oman and continues to visit more.

Second Pir Syed Raza Shah Gilani of Pir Kot Shareef (May Allaah send mercy on him) gave khilaafat to Allama Mukhtar shah Naeemi Ashrafi.
Third Sheikh Ul Islam Allama Pir Syed Madni Miyan Sajjadah Nasheen Astana Aaliyah Kachocha Shareef India gave khilaafat to Allama Mukhtar Shah Naeemi on August 26, 2001 in America. Fourth Pir Tareeqat Teacher of Teachers Hazrat Allama Zubair Naqshbandi Malki Attaasi Alvee Gave Khilaafat to Allama Mukhtar shah, in 2008.

In America Masjid Ghouse Azam Houston Allama Mukhtar Shah Naeemi Ashrafi started his career on September 7, 2000 and with the mercy of Allaah he is still there propagating Islam day and night. He has given lectures since 2002 till now on the radio before Maghreb Azaan. In Ramadan Allama sahib gives 90 lectures: one during the morning on the radio, second before Maghreb Azaan on the radio and third after Taraaveeh at the mosque and by end of the Month of Ramadan, the total reaches to at least 90 lectures. Trained initially by his late father the maestro USTAD INAM AHMED KHAN SAHEB. also known as MEHBOOB RAGI and QAWWALI SAMRAT. The honour was given to him by the president of India GYANI ZAIL SINGH. Carrying on the old musical legacy of his ancestors of the great HAPUR GHARANA who only of the stat wants in the musical contemporary to name a few are ustad kubre mohammed khan saheb, ustad shaadi khan saheb, ustad muraad khan saheb etc and were the past of the patronage of MUGHAL EMPROR BAHADUR SHAH ZAFAR. This is been carried long by of 750 YEARS of musical journey.
QADAR NIAZI has also groomed his sons HAIDER NIZAMI, HASAN NIZAMI, & IMRAN NIZAMI in the traditionalistic gayaki of his gharana repacticaly. Besides been an "A" grade artist of A.I.R new delhi India DOOR DARSHAN. he has many highly accomplish performance oddly In India in various music conferences and Events. Some of the famous institutions are sahitya kala parishad,urdu acadmy, sangeet natika acadamy, spic macay, ICCR GOVERNMANT etc.
A crudely acclaimed artist in the oversees he has visited many countries to name like USA, CANADA, UK, SCOTLAND, NEW ZELAND, SINGAPORE, the gulf including the holy place MAKKA and MADINA, OMAN, IRAN, IRAQ, TANZANIYA, SOUTH AFRICA, EAST AFRICA, and prasently in RUSIA.
He also got the opportunity to sing in tele films like "JIYA" and "KANJOOS" he also rendered his voice in the film KHOSLA KA GHOSLA. He has been honoured by the chief minister SMT. SHEELA DIXIT. Having command in many languages he sings in PERSIEN, ARABIC, URDU, HINDI, PANJABI and many more.
