Cry No More (Mika Nakashima song)
"Cry No More" is Nakashima Mika's 17th single, which replaced Hajime Chitose's Kataritsugu Koto as the closing theme for the anime Blood+. It is a blues-inflected single, and was recorded in the USA. "Black & Blue" was used in CMs that aired in early 2006 by KATE. This single reached #8 on Oricon charts.
The music of the song was written by Lensei, an Australian musician, who also wrote the music for Nakashima Mika's song "Rocking Horse", which was released as an album track on her album 'Music'.

Yaakov Shwekey
Yaakov Shwekey (Hebrew: יעקב שוואקי, born Yaakov Choueka) (born in 1977) is an Orthodox Jewish recording artist and musical entertainer. Through his father, he is of Egyptian and Syrian Sephardic heritage; his mother is Ashkenazi.
Biography
Yaakov Shwekey was raised in Polanco, Mexico City, where he attended Yeshiva Ateret Yosef. He later lived in Brooklyn, NY and attended Yeshiva of Brooklyn. He now lives in Deal, New Jersey with his wife Jenine and their four children. Yaakov's career began when he sang in the Ateret Yosef Choir in Mexico City and when he and his brother Yisroel Meir sang with the Miami Boys Choir for a short period of time. As a young man Shwekey learned in Rabbi Menachem Davidowitz's yeshiva (TIUNY) in Rochester, NY,
Musical style
Shwekey is a singer and his music and songs are composed by others. His albums are produced by Yochi Briskman, and distributed in the US by Aderet Music, and in Israel by JMI. Many different arrangers have arranged his albums including Moshe Laufer, Mona Rosenblum, Yanky Briskman, Leib Yaakov Rigler, and Yisroel Lamm. Until 2006 Shwekey's primary studio was "Studio X" (run by Yochi Briskman, engineered by AJ Greenwald), today, some of his recording is done in his private home studio.

Marks & Spencer
Marks and Spencer plc (also known as M&S) is a major British multinational retailer headquartered in the City of Westminster, London. It specialises in the selling of clothing, home products and luxury food products. M&S was founded in 1884 by Michael Marks and Thomas Spencer in Leeds.
In 1998, the company became the first British retailer to make a pre-tax profit of over £1 billion, although subsequently it went into a sudden slump, which took the company, its shareholders, who included hundreds of thousands of small investors, and nearly all retail analysts and business journalists, by surprise. In November 2009, it was announced that Marc Bolland, formerly of Morrisons, would take over as chief executive from executive chairman Stuart Rose in early 2010; Rose remained in the role of non-executive chairman until he was replaced by Robert Swannell in January 2011.
It is listed on the London Stock Exchange and is a constituent of the FTSE 100 Index.
History
Establishment
The company was founded by a partnership between Michael Marks, a Polish Jew from Słonim (Marks was born into a Polish-Jewish family, a Polish refugee living in the Russian Empire, now in Belarus), and Thomas Spencer, a cashier from the English market town of Skipton in North Yorkshire. On his arrival in England, Marks worked for a company in Leeds, called Barran, which employed refugees (see Sir John Barran, 1st Baronet). In 1884 he met Isaac Jowitt Dewhirst while looking for work. Dewhirst lent Marks £5 which he used to establish his Penny Bazaar on Kirkgate Market, in Leeds. Dewhirst also taught him a little English. Dewhirst's cashier was Tom Spencer, an excellent bookkeeper, whose lively and intelligent second wife, Agnes, helped improve Marks' English. In 1894, when Marks acquired a permanent stall in Leeds' covered market, he invited Spencer to become his partner.

I got the inspiration for this song from my dear friend world, renowned speaker, Rabbi YY Jacobson who told the story about his grandmother Mrs. Lipsker who had a very difficult childhood under the communist rule Even after they fled to the USA by the grace of heaven, life was not always bright for her. One day she went to the Lubavitcher Rebbe Zt’l to receive a blessing and advice how to read herself from fear and anxiety , and the Rebbe advised her to dance at as many weddings as possible, to make the brides and families happy, and through this she would attain complete inner joy.
And so for decades Mrs. Lipsker went to thousands of weddings and made thousands of brides and families happy. In Crown Heights of those days, there were many baalei teshuva who got married without a large family and she took upon herself the privilege of dancing and making the bride and the participants happy. Through the joy she brought into the world, Mrs. Lipsker gained complete joy in her personal life as well.
This incredible story inspired made me release the song “Dance my Fears Away” and through it influence as many people as possible to dance and make others happy and thus banish sadness and fears and fill us with true inner joy.

The Single, 'Guf Venshama’ is the theme song from the first EP album that will be released in a few weeks. The song 'Guf Venshama’ deals with the spiritual connection and the common denominator of every Jew, the recitation of "Shema Yisrael". The song was written and composed by Avi Ohayon, arranged by Matan Dror, and accompanied by a sensitive and moving music video produced by 'OlamMedia'. David Fadida oversees managing the production.
Ever since Simchat Torah, a profound sense of upheaval has gripped millions of Jews globally, leaving them with a feeling of groundlessness. In the footage, the boundless anguish in their eyes is evident, yet amidst it all, one constant remains—the anchoring island of sanity for every Jew in any circumstance, at all times, and particularly in recent months. It is the act of covering their eyes and uttering the words of Shema Yisrael, akin to saying, "Like a lost child, I came back to You."
The album 'Guf Venshama’ marks the initiation of an expansive project comprising a series of EP albums scheduled for release in the coming months. Within each album, Shwekey will showcase an array of musical styles, spanning Hassidic, Israeli, and English genres, featuring captivating duets with various singers. The underlying theme of the project is the promotion of unity across all segments of the Jewish people, a sentiment artistically echoed in the music. Each album will boast its unique artistic direction, contributing collectively to form a comprehensive and harmonious musical mosaic.
"The goal of 'Guf Venshama’ is to make sure that there is no Jewish child anywhere in the world who does not know how to say 'Shema Yisrael'," says Yaakov Shwekey. "With this idea we started this project, and the challenging times that the Jewish people are going through now only strengthened the importance of this message."

My daughter's wedding was a very special and emotional event for me. In the past year, I lost both my parents, and my father passed away just a week before the wedding. Music has always been a part of my life, and even at the wedding, the new songs accompanied us as a family in the emotional transition from mourning to great joy. Now, as we are on the eve of Shavuot, when we renew our marriage covenant with the holy Torah .and G-d every year, there is nothing more fitting than to sing these songs

I got the inspiration for this song from my dear friend world, renowned speaker, Rabbi YY Jacobson who told the story about his grandmother Mrs. Lipsker who had a very difficult childhood under the communist rule Even after they fled to the USA by the grace of heaven, life was not always bright for her. One day she went to the Lubavitcher Rebbe Zt’l to receive a blessing and advice how to read herself from fear and anxiety , and the Rebbe advised her to dance at as many weddings as possible, to make the brides and families happy, and through this she would attain complete inner joy.
And so for decades Mrs. Lipsker went to thousands of weddings and made thousands of brides and families happy. In Crown Heights of those days, there were many baalei teshuva who got married without a large family and she took upon herself the privilege of dancing and making the bride and the participants happy. Through the joy she brought into the world, Mrs. Lipsker gained complete joy in her personal life as well.
This incredible story inspired made me release the song “Dance my Fears Away” and through it influence as many people as possible to dance and make others happy and thus banish sadness and fears and fill us with true inner joy.

The Single, 'Guf Venshama’ is the theme song from the first EP album that will be released in a few weeks. The song 'Guf Venshama’ deals with the spiritual connection and the common denominator of every Jew, the recitation of "Shema Yisrael". The song was written and composed by Avi Ohayon, arranged by Matan Dror, and accompanied by a sensitive and moving music video produced by 'OlamMedia'. David Fadida oversees managing the production.
Ever since Simchat Torah, a profound sense of upheaval has gripped millions of Jews globally, leaving them with a feeling of groundlessness. In the footage, the boundless anguish in their eyes is evident, yet amidst it all, one constant remains—the anchoring island of sanity for every Jew in any circumstance, at all times, and particularly in recent months. It is the act of covering their eyes and uttering the words of Shema Yisrael, akin to saying, "Like a lost child, I came back to You."
The album 'Guf Venshama’ marks the initiation of an expansive project comprising a series of EP albums scheduled for release in the coming months. Within each album, Shwekey will showcase an array of musical styles, spanning Hassidic, Israeli, and English genres, featuring captivating duets with various singers. The underlying theme of the project is the promotion of unity across all segments of the Jewish people, a sentiment artistically echoed in the music. Each album will boast its unique artistic direction, contributing collectively to form a comprehensive and harmonious musical mosaic.
"The goal of 'Guf Venshama’ is to make sure that there is no Jewish child anywhere in the world who does not know how to say 'Shema Yisrael'," says Yaakov Shwekey. "With this idea we started this project, and the challenging times that the Jewish people are going through now only strengthened the importance of this message."

My daughter's wedding was a very special and emotional event for me. In the past year, I lost both my parents, and my father passed away just a week before the wedding. Music has always been a part of my life, and even at the wedding, the new songs accompanied us as a family in the emotional transition from mourning to great joy. Now, as we are on the eve of Shavuot, when we renew our marriage covenant with the holy Torah .and G-d every year, there is nothing more fitting than to sing these songs
