Tūrān (Persian توران) is the Persian name for Central Asia, literally meaning "the land of the Tur". As described below, the original Turanians are an Iranian tribe of the Avestan age. As a people the "Turanian" are one of the two Iranian peoples both descending from the Persian Fereydun but with different domains and often at war with each other. In fact according to the Shahnameh's account, at least 1,500 years later after the Avesta, the nomadic tribes who inhabited these lands were ruled by Tūr, who was the emperor Fereydun's elder son. The association with Turks is also primarily based on the Shahnameh's geographical account where Turkification of Central Asia was partially completed during that time.
Tur/Turaj (Tuzh in Middle Persian) is the son of emperor Fereydun in ancient Iranian mythology. In the Shahnameh, he is identified with the Turks although culturally, there is no relationship between Turanians of the Shahnameh and the culture of ancient Turks. In 19th century and early 20th century discourse, now obsolete, Turan was primarily an ideological term designating Altaic and Uralic languages.

I work on a train
That's eleven and a half cars long
I can only work at night
Cause the things I do are wrong
We carry some nasty substances
On this little night train
The first car's full of dioxin
Enough to wipe out the state of Maine
Oh, the evil, terrible things
That I sent down those tracks
I snuck them through your town at night
Right behind your back
On our little train (x2)
The second car's just painted black
What's in it nobody knows
Though sometimes it makes a buzzing noise
And once I saw it glow
The third car carries poison gas
And the fourth car it does, too
The fifth car's filled to the breaking point
With ortho orange forty-two
Oh, the evil, terrible things
That I sent down those tracks
I snuck them through your town at night
Right behind your back
On our little train (x2)
The sixth car leaks a strange brown ooze
On to the hoboes who ride below
It caused their hair to fall out
And their fingers turned bright blue
I swear to god it's true
The seventh car carries raw sewage
You can tell just by the scent
We used to have a warning sign
But something ate right through the print
Some sort a' illegal baby food
Is what we got in car number eight
And although I've never tried it myself
The conductor says it's great
We load the bodies of dead lab animals
On to car number nine
And I swear that sometimes late at night
I can hear those critters whine
Oh, the evil, terrible things
That I sent down those tracks
I snuck them through your town at night
Right behind your back
On our little train
Both cars number ten and eleven
Carry tainted juice
And I can hear it sloshing around
From my chair in the caboose
I pick up all your tears
Throw 'em in your backseat
Leave without a second glance
Somehow I'm to blame
For this never ending racetrack, you call life
So turn right into my arms
Turn right, you won't be alone
You might fall off this track sometimes
Hope to see you on the finish line
Driving all your friends
At a speed they cannot follow
And soon you will be on your own
Somehow I'm to blame
For this never ending racetrack, you call life
So turn right into my arms
Turn right, you won't be alone
You might fall off this track sometimes
Hope to see you at the finish line
I did all I could, I gave everything
But you had to go your way
And that road was not for me
So turn right into my arms
Turn right, you won't be alone
You might fall off this track sometimes
I work on a train
That's eleven and a half cars long
I can only work at night
Cause the things I do are wrong

And I can hear it sloshing around
I think I'm falling out of favor
As you're waving goodbye
I'd like to see your timetable
I'm at the end of my line
I like the way your tracks lay down
You keep your engine clean
You've got a cozy little station
It's the nicest one I've seen
I'm gonna roll on
I'm gonna take you on a train ride
Heading down the tracks
On a red eye line
I'm on a train ride
Open up your station 'cause
I'm coming inside
There's a little bit of danger
If we go to fast
I'd like to be your Clark Gable
Do you want to join the cast
I've got to catch the last 'A' train
It's the only one I know
Hook up your little red caboose baby
We've got a lot of stops to do
I'm on a train ride
Heading down the tracks
On a red eye line
I'm on a train ride
Open up your station 'cause
I'm coming inside
(Repeat)
Just a little bit further, for a couple of miles
If you let me be your railman
I'll make it worth your while
You've got a really tight schedule
I've got a heavy load
And if you pull the right switch honey
You'll make my whistle blow
I'm gonna roll on
(Chorus Twice)
I'm on a train ride, train ride, train ride
Gonna ride tonight
I'm on a train ride, train ride, train ride
On the line tonight
I'm on a train ride, train ride, train ride
I'm alive tonight
It started on a Wednesday, I think it was about 9
You called me to the table and I sat down..
I saw it in your face as I reached out to touch you,
As you put down the paper, I read you..
I guess I'll pack my bags, I'm leaving in the morning
Don't just sit there, staring at the ceiling now..
You gonna be cold tonight..
I'm living on the outside, heading on a train ride,
I don't know why I'm leaving you
And I don't know what we fighting for..
I feel a bit rough tonight,
Weaving down the sidewalk..
I don't know why I'm leaving you,
And I don't know why we fighting..
As I put down my suitcase, it felt a little light as I
Flagged down a passerby..
I said, take me to the railroad track,
I just want to lay down, I just need to clear my,
Clear my mind..
Now sit yourself down on the sofa,
Take some time to think of your future now..
It's gonna be cold tonight..
Chorus.. and I'm heading on a train ride
I only want to be with you, only 'cos I know you..
Must be that I know you..
I guess I'll pack my bags, I'm leaving in the morning
Don't just sit there staring at the ceiling now..
You gonna be cold tonight..
People speakin' in foreign tounges, it all sounded the
same
[Hopes were missed but grabbed upon the meaning of this
frame]*
Gave the man to search his soul, and though I was
ignored
Starin' into the darkenned eyes, I wallowed, "All
aboard!"
And I said,
"Ride on, Charlie, in your lonely car
If you ever lose your way, you know I won't be very far
Just a couple more miles 'til we reach the next stage
Where I may lay my weary head, and rest my soul for
days."
A look, a glance, a full on stare, they soon may
understand
Hope all you beauties will tell this through your
romance
Find the one that pulls you out, that makes you who you
Connected by the steamer as we ride in all our car
And I said,
"Ride on, Charlie, in your lonely car
If you ever lose your way, you know I won't be very far
Just a couple more miles 'til we reach the next stage
Where I may lay my weary head, and rest my soul for
days."
Five ways to touch a soul, it's easy to be done
Yet, every time we blink our eyes, the smiles are all
gone
Where do they go, what do they have, what takes them
all away?
I really do not know, but I'd love to find out some day
And I said,
"Ride on, Charlie, in your lonely car
If you ever lose your way, you know I won't be very far
Just a couple more miles 'til we reach the next stage
Where I may lay my weary head, and rest my soul for
days."
'Til the day we find the time to get a stolen love's
last grin
Find a friend every day and touch them deep within
Give them a part of your heart, and they will share it
in return
That will keep the the love aglow, and your eternal
flame will burn
And I said,
"Ride on, Charlie, in your lonely car
If you ever lose your way, you know I won't be very far
Just a couple more miles 'til we reach the next stage
Where I may lay my weary head, and rest my soul for
days."
And I said,
"Ride on, Charlie, in your lonely car
Ride on, Charlie, in your lonely car
Ride on, Charlie, in your lonely car
If you ever lose your way, you know I won't be very
far"
Hey folks, come on let's go
We've got another job to do
Move it brothers
Climb on the horses
Introduce ourselves
As the bandit forces
Come on everybody
On your marks
Let's earn a million golden bucks
No one to stop us now
Come on you hoods
Let's go for dollars
Train raid, train raid
A perfect plan
We'll never see the jail again
Train raid, train raid
We'll try again
'Cause we're the famous Dalton clan
Averell, Willy, Jack and Joe
Are waiting for the train to come
But there's some error
They don't expect
They wait upon the iron tracks
The train is coming, what a show
The Daltons kind of over rolled
Joey screams, his brothers mute
Don't worry, they'll be back soon
Train raid, train raid
A perfect plan
We'll never see the jail again
Train raid, train raid
We'll try again
'Cause we're the famous Dalton clan
Train raid, come on folks
Let's do the train raid
Attempt number 205 is on today, oh yeah
We won't fail again
We won't miss the chance
Ain't no one gonna laugh
