It preached ideas of wahhabism, having created branches in Karachay–Cherkessia and Kabardino-Balkaria. The members of the "Society" have developed the plan of the armed capture of authority in Karachay–Cherkessia and Kabardino-Balkaria and creations in their territory of an Islamic state. To carry out these plans of the wahhabits were not successful because of the beginning of operations in the Chechen Republic in the end of 1999. It then began carrying out acts of terrorism.
A society, or a human society, is a group of people related to each other through persistent relations, or a large social grouping sharing the same geographical or virtual territory, subject to the same political authority and dominant cultural expectations. Human societies are characterized by patterns of relationships (social relations) between individuals who share a distinctive culture and institutions; a given society may be described as the sum total of such relationships among its constituent members. In the social sciences, a larger society often evinces stratification and/or dominance patterns in subgroups.
Insofar as it is collaborative, a society can enable its members to benefit in ways that would not otherwise be possible on an individual basis; both individual and social (common) benefits can thus be distinguished, or in many cases found to overlap.
A society can also consist of like-minded people governed by their own norms and values within a dominant, larger society. This is sometimes referred to as a subculture, a term used extensively within criminology.
Zakir Abdul Karim Naik (Urdu: ذاکر عبدالکریم نائیک; born 18 October 1965) is an Indian public speaker on the subject of Islam and comparative religion. He is the founder and president of the Islamic Research Foundation (IRF), a non-profit organisation that owns the Peace TV channel based in Dubai, UAE. He is sometimes referred to as a televangelist. Before becoming a public speaker, he trained as a doctor. He has written two booklets on Islam and comparative religion. He is regarded as an exponent of the Salafi ideology; he places a strong emphasis on individual scholarship and the rejection of "blind Taqlid", which has led him to repudiate the relevance of sectarian or Madh'hab designations, all the while reaffirming their importance.

Who is Oppressed : Muslim women with Hijab or Western Society Womens ?
Lets See the few Facts !
Western society views Muslim women as oppressed and the hijab as a symbol of their oppression. We assume that the only reason women wear the hijab is because their men require them to and that they will discard them as soon as they're liberated.
Western women see Muslim women as needing to be "liberated," but the majority of Muslim women say they are comfortable with their lot in life.
What's the main reason we think that that Muslim women are oppressed? Because of the way that they dress.
We don't know, and don't care to know, the first thing about their lives besides what they wear. The mere fact that they cover up convinces us that they must not be free to do the things that Western women take for granted.
But if we think that being "allowed" to sit around the pool in our bikinis drinking cocktails means that we're not oppressed, we're sadly mistaken. We're just distracted from noticing it.
Some Muslim apologists insist that it is Western women who are enslaved by their culture and its demands on them to be sexy and Muslim women who are liberated because they don't have to worry about what they look like.
Some (usually younger) feminists are practically giddy about what they see as all their options. "The real feminist is not the woman who rejects her femininity; it's the woman who celebrates it!" they cry. They think that spending loads of money on their hair, make-up, pretty little frocks and designer shoes and bags is a sign of self-esteem—and liberation. They see "old-fashioned" feminists in much the same light as they see Muslim women: as being trapped by their own values into becoming mere shadows of real women.
In fact it is designed to protect women and encourage respect for them. It serves to differentiate Muslims from non-believers, therefore devout women are proud to wear it. The Quran calls for women to "cast their garments over themselves so they shall not be molested" (Sura Al-Ahzab) and illustrates how the hijab allows women to be recognised as believers and respected accordingly, not confining them to their homes but making it safe for them to go outside free of harassment. The holy text of Islam never suggests that women should be separated from the world of men; rather it endorses their full participation in society.
The hijab allows Muslim women freedom from the oppression prevalent in Western cultures caused by the pressure of conforming to popular fashion. Whereas we are often judged on our appearance and our dress sense, the hijab inhibits shows of ostentation and vanity. Rather than being a reflection of the wearer's status it is an aid to equality in Middle Eastern society. This conservative form of clothing consolidates the Muslim's self-identity and distances her from the ideals and values of Western culture - a distance which is sadly becoming more desirable for Muslims in today's climate.
You need to stop assuming that wearing the hijab means a woman is a second-class citizen.A poll Who Speaks For Islam? which is based on Gallup polls that have been administered worldwide show that the majority of Muslim women feel sorry for Western women because of the way they are degraded by the men who treat them as sex objects. Seeing as how feminists also object to women being treated as sex objects, instead of judging Muslim women for wearing hijabs maybe we ought to wear them ourselves, as a show of solidarity.
Being well-dressed doesn't mean we're not oppressed.
The fact is that many of these shrouded women are not forced to dress conservatively but choose to, and this is something the Western culture needs to appreciate before acting on any gallant notions to free Muslim women from their oppression.

There was a time when Islamic Scholarship was a leading torch bearer of knowledge and a shining example to the world where the Scholars of this Ummah had mastered both Islamic knowledge and secular sciences producing some of the greatest minds and free-thinkers in human history that transformed societies and nations! People from all over the globe would look towards the Muslim world for guidance & progress in both religious and secular knowledge. Muslim civilizations flourished when the entire Ummah benefited from the diversity of the great works of our Scholars, and adapting & embracing foreign influences within the confines of the Sharia.

IS THE WEST TO BLAME FOR ISLAMIC EXTREMISM (Terrorism)?
Date: 23rd April 2015
Venue: Cambridge Union, Cambridge University
Debate Description:
As the western military presence in Afghanistan draws to a close, much of the Middle East remains just as unstable and volatile as it has ever been. The actions of ISIS in Iraq and Syria have once again brought the issue of Islamic Extremism to the fore of global politics. The Union asks whether this pressing security issue, both in the West and the Middle East, is the legacy of Western foreign policy, or if it is instead a result of more deep-rooted, regional factors.

Today however the Ummah excels in secular sciences, we have Muslims leading in the field of medicine and engineering, but only a handful of open-minded Scholars that specialise both in Islamic knowledge and secular sciences. The narrow-mindedness of 'sectarianism' and 'appeal to authority' who may not be qualified to give verdicts in secular and foreign issues has left many to develop a strict-conservative Islam that hinders the very heritage & principles of our faith.
Then there are those who profess themselves as Muslims (which by definition means to submit to the Will of Allah), yet their liberal views leave everything to their intellects and whatever is the norm of the society becomes their religion even if it goes against the very basic teachings of Islam.
How can the Ummah ever revive the great legacy of the past and return back to the conservative yet liberal heritage of our Scholars?
Join Shaykh Dr. Yasir Qadhi in this unique & inspiring talk as he performs 'bloodless brain surgery' of the Muslim mind unlocking our great legacy of a free-thinking Ummah through the lens of orthodox Islam.
An exhilarating talk not to me missed!!

Cambridge Debate: IS THE WEST TO BLAME FOR ISLAMIC EXTREMISM? (Terrorism)
PROPOSITION
Frances Guy - Frances was the British ambassador to Yemen and Lebanon, the Foreign Secretary’s envoy to the Syrian opposition, and is the UN Women's representative in Iraq.
Abdullah al Andalusi - Abdullah is an international speaker, thinker and intellectual activist for Islam and Muslim affairs, and is the co-founder of the Muslimn Debate Initiative.
Dr Iza Hussin - Dr Hussin is a member of Cambridge's POLIS department, and researches comparative politics, Islam and Muslim politics. Her forthcoming book explores the construction of Islamic law in colonial India, Malaya and Egypt.
OPPOSITION
Dr Usama Hasan - Dr Hasan is a former senior lecturer at Middlesex University, a Fellow of the Royal Astronomical Society and Senior Researcher in Islamic Studies at the Quilliam Foundation
Chris Doyle - Chris is the Director of the Council for Arab-British Understanding and a member of the Royal Institute for International Affairs.
Robin Simcox - Robin is a Research Fellow at the Henry Jackson Society, where he specialises in al-Qaeda and al-Qaeda inspired terrorism. He is the co-author of both editions of 'Islamist Terrorism: The British Connections' , and has written and spoken on the issue on a variety of platforms.

In light of these numbers, Handbook on Islam and Economic Life is one of the first books to consider Islam within a broader economic sphere by focusing on the ways in which Islam shapes and interacts with the economy. With contributions from leading scholars, this unique Handbook explores how Islam impinges upon and seeks to condition major aspects of economic life including economic organization, business and management, finance and investment, charity, mutuality and self-help, and government. 'This volume presents carefully selected research by reputed scholars on diverse topics dealing with the economic life of Muslims. The book provides a perspective not only on key aspects of the moral economy but also on the behaviour and expectations of economic agents. The distinguished editors have made a valuable contribution by expanding the scope of typical Islamic economics literature and by including topics dealing with the day-to-day life of Muslim society.'- Zamir Iqbal, The World Bank Global Center for Islamic Finance DevelopmentAccording to the most recent Pew Forum on Religion and Public Life, nearly one in four people in the world are Muslim. It concludes by analyzing the link between religion and development, the present economic circumstances in Arab countries and the vexed issue of the origins and causes of underdevelopment in Muslim countries.Covering a breadth of topics and research, this book will be essential reading for academics in both Muslim and western universities, graduates and postgraduates of Islamic studies as well as Islamic and other research institutes.Contributors include: B.A. Al-Foul, A.A. Practising Islam - A Path to building a better Britain | Dr. Omer El-Hamdoon
The president of MAB delivers a reminder of how when people practice their faith, it will lead to building a better society for both Muslim and non-Muslim.
__________________________________________________________________________
The Muslim Association of Britain (MAB) is a UK organisation founded in 1997; that are dedicated to serving society by promoting the accepted understanding of Islam with its spiritual teachings, ideals, civil concepts and moral values, all directed towards serving humanity. MAB seeks to reach out to people using reasoned and logically grounded argument.
MAB cooperates with others to address complex issues affecting society: rising crime and prison populations, failure in education, spread of racism, rise in anti-Islam hatred – Islamophobia, drug addiction, violence and the growing disconnect of youth from society.
MAB believes that Muslims should interact positively with all elements of society; to reflect, project and convey the pure message of Islam in an unblemished form.
MAB works to build and sustain hope by encouraging Muslims to participate proactively in the British Society, to make the most of the many legitimate avenues available and to function positively to become fruitful citizens of the UK.

Betrayal of the Western Muslim Scholars - Hamza Yusuf - Part 1
In this part - Hamza Yusuf and his views are countered regarding Khilafah & Jihad. Watch as how he fails to define defensive Jihad to non-Muslim audience, fails to distinguish between an Islamic Society & Western Society, and fails to apply the verses of the Qur'an where due.

Who is Oppressed : Muslim women with Hijab or Western Society Women ?
Who is Oppressed : Muslim women with Hijab or Western Society Women ?

Reconstructing the Muslim Mind - Oxford University ~ Dr. Yasir Qadhi | 1st February 2015
