3. ‘’Mumu’’ (1852), by Ivan Turgenev. So, this is a short story everyone is talking about. Shortly… It’s about a deaf and mute serf yardman – Gerasim, who was working at some rich noble woman, and who had nobody, but this 1 little dog that was constantly barking. So, cuz he was deaf, he didn’t mind, but the woman at some point got tired of it, and told him to get rid of it. So he went on a boat and drowned it.
The ‘’official’’ morale and explanation of the story, which Zhirinovsky doubts, is to show the cruelty of rich people towards poor and miserable.

4. If you don’t know who Vasilyeva is. She’s this middle age bitch, who was involved in corruption case in defense ministry. They, together with this fat corrupted defense minister Serdyukov stole billions in defense contracts, if not trillions. Vasilyeva got 3 years or something, but it doesn’t matter now, cuz she went to prison for 2 months, and now she’s free. Serdyukov got released, didn’t served any time. It’s Russia for you, guys. The more you steal, the less time you do. Paradox? Consistent pattern? Pick your poison.

I just wanna point out, that Yesenin is a very very good poet. I’m a huge admirer of his work. It’s such an easy read, and extremely clever play of words. Unfortunately, you can’t fully understand it, unless you can speak fluent Russian. I don’t know how would they translate him to English, but if you can find any translations, I highly recommend it.
7. Medinsky is the minister of culture. Livanov - there are 3 Livanovs. All of them are related to theater, cinema, writing, etc. Idk who Z is referring to.
8.In Soviet Union, a 5 grade system was introduced in all schools and universities. But in reality, it was 4 grade system. 2 - fail, 3 - pass, 4 - high pass, 5 - perfect.
9. As you can already tell, these words are written with a hyphen, after a word you want, and before these words guy asked him about. In particular: ...-кое, ...-то, ...-либо, ...-нибудь, ...-таки.

This is a famous speech of Zhirinovsky he made in Yalta, Crimea. It was 2,5 hour broadcast and most of top rank politicians spoke there. Including Putin, Medvedev, Zuganov. I don't know if there is an English version of the whole event, but I think RT covered it.
This time, I think Zhirinovsky was speaking for the audience, which was not everyday audience at all, and he just enjoys it. I don't think this particular speech should be taken too seriously. But it's sure as hell a great one, and pleasure to watch.

7. I actually think they got something here. I mean, idk if it was ever done anywhere. In Smolensk it works. Of course you gotta remember that it’s the only region LDPR is governing, so naturally, they would try their best to make it as better as possible. But it doesn’t hurt to try. Russia is not THE most corrupted country in the world, but there is a lot of room for improvement. So, if they test this system in 4 regions, governed by 4 main parties, and see what it’ll lead to… I support it for sure.

In this short interview, Zhirinovsky answers to question by a Ukranean jouranlist, who pushes the ethnic card again, implying that Russia has big ethnic problems, and allegedly opressing ethnic minorities. But, Zhirinovky as usual found what to answer.
I don't know exactly when this interview took place, but it's somewhere between 22/01/2014 and 30/01/2014. With bigger probability on 22/01/2014.
Remarks:
1. He said Lvov is Ukranean lands, but he had said a few times in the past, that Lvov, along with some other regions, should return to be a part of Poland. I think he just wanted to say something other than eastern or central regions, so Lvov came up.
2. Halusky - is a food, that can me made in different ways, but basically it is all the same. Search in this word in Google images, in case you want to see what it looks like - галушки.
3. Before February coup d'etat, but during protests in Maidan, I think Yanukovich was already overthrown by then, or was just about to be, Russia agreed to give 15 billion dollars to Ukrain. And they actually started to send money there. First 2 billion went there, then another 1 billion. These money of course disappeared, and will never be found. Zhirinovsky was ardently protesting against this (like he was doing for many many years). Fortunately, they realized their foolishness and stopped. 3 billion went down the drain though.
4. In/On Ukraine - in Russian, the right way to say is not ''in Ukraine'', but ''on Ukraine''. For some things it's on, for others - in. The things is, now Ukraneans became so impudent, that they imposing for us to use ''in Ukraine'', and not ''on Ukraine''. They made such a big deal out of it, people now are confused how to say it right. Even Putin is saying ''in Ukraine'' now (that's a WTF for me).
5. Makhno - was one supporters of Ukrainian Insurgent Army, or the likes of them (ΝΑΖΙ collaborators, SS chasteners on occupied territories in Ukrain, Belorussia and Poland). Today's ''Right Sector''. I'll leave links, in case you want to find out more about them:

Zhirinovsky was born in Almaty, the capital of the Kazakh Soviet Socialist Republic, modern-day Kazakhstan. His father, Volf Isaakovich Eidelshtein (or Wolf Andreyevich Eidelshtein), was a Polish Jew, and his mother, Alexandra Pavlovna (née Makarova), was of Russian background. Before February coup d'etat, but during protests in Maidan, I think Yanukovich was already overthrown by then, or was just about to be, Russia agreed to give 15 billion dollars to Ukrain. And they actually started to send money there. First 2 billion went there, then another 1 billion. These money of course disappeared, and will never be found. Zhirinovsky was ardently protesting against this (like he was doing for many many years). Fortunately, they realized their foolishness and stopped. 3 billion went down the drain though. 4. In/On Ukraine - in Russian, the right way to say is not ''in Ukraine'', but ''on Ukraine''. For some things it's on, for others - in. The things is, now Ukraneans became so impudent, that they imposing for us to use ''in Ukraine'', and not ''on Ukraine''. They made such a big deal out of it, people now are confused how to say it right. Even Putin is saying ''in Ukraine'' now (that's a WTF for me). 5. Makhno - was one supporters of Ukrainian Insurgent Army, or the likes of them (ΝΑΖΙ collaborators, SS chasteners on occupied territories in Ukrain, Belorussia and Poland). Today's ''Right Sector''. 9. As you can already tell, these words are written with a hyphen, after a word you want, and before these words guy asked him about. In particular: ...-кое, ...-то, ...-либо, ...-нибудь, ...-таки.

Of course you gotta remember that it’s the only region LDPR is governing, so naturally, they would try their best to make it as better as possible. But it doesn’t hurt to try. In this short interview, Zhirinovsky answers to question by a Ukranean jouranlist, who pushes the ethnic card again, implying that Russia has big ethnic problems, and allegedly opressing ethnic minorities. But, Zhirinovky as usual found what to answer.
I don't know exactly when this interview took place, but it's somewhere between 22/01/2014 and 30/01/2014. With bigger probability on 22/01/2014.
Remarks:
1. He said Lvov is Ukranean lands, but he had said a few times in the past, that Lvov, along with some other regions, should return to be a part of Poland. I think he just wanted to say something other than eastern or central regions, so Lvov came up.
2. Halusky - is a food, that can me made in different ways, but basically it is all the same. Search in this word in Google images, in case you want to see what it looks like - галушки.
3. Before February coup d'etat, but during protests in Maidan, I think Yanukovich was already overthrown by then, or was just about to be, Russia agreed to give 15 billion dollars to Ukrain. And they actually started to send money there. First 2 billion went there, then another 1 billion. These money of course disappeared, and will never be found. Zhirinovsky was ardently protesting against this (like he was doing for many many years). Fortunately, they realized their foolishness and stopped. 3 billion went down the drain though.
4. In/On Ukraine - in Russian, the right way to say is not ''in Ukraine'', but ''on Ukraine''. For some things it's on, for others - in. The things is, now Ukraneans became so impudent, that they imposing for us to use ''in Ukraine'', and not ''on Ukraine''. They made such a big deal out of it, people now are confused how to say it right. Even Putin is saying ''in Ukraine'' now (that's a WTF for me).
5. Makhno - was one supporters of Ukrainian Insurgent Army, or the likes of them (ΝΑΖΙ collaborators, SS chasteners on occupied territories in Ukrain, Belorussia and Poland). Today's ''Right Sector''. I'll leave links, in case you want to find out more about them:

Liberal Democratic Party of Russia leader Vladimir Zhirinovsky has proposed to crush Turkey via a nuclear missile strike. This is according to the radio station "Moscow speaking".
"Istanbul is very easy to destroy: just one nuclear bomb in the Strait of Bosphorus, and it will wash away. It will be such a terrible flood, the water column will rise 10-15 meters, and the city will not be there any more, and there are 9 million lives in that city", — said the leader of the liberal Democrats.
According to the party's leader, Turkey's allies in NATO will not interfere, "they don't want to die in a nuclear fire". Zhirinovsky noted that currently Turkey is the number one enemy for Russia.
The politician also believes that the top Turkish leadership figures, including the President, Prime Minister and the General staff, are "furious". "They don't know what will happen. If I was in their place now I'd be afraid of a crushing blow on Turkey. One stupid action of the President, and the country in general could cease to be", — said Zhirinovsky.
Russian-Turkish relations have seriously deteriorated after the Turkish air force, on November 24, shot down, over the territory of Syria, a su-24 bomber. The President of Russia Vladimir Putin, when first commenting on the destruction of the aircraft, promised serious consequences for relations between Moscow and Ankara. Later that same day, Russian foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov cancelled his scheduled visit to Istanbul for the 25th November, with the Russian foreign Ministry recommending its citizens to not visit Turkey. In addition, the Russian government, according to Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, developed a set of economic measures in response to an act of aggression by Turkey.
A Russian frontline su-24 bomber from the Russian air group in Syria was shot down by Turkish F-16 fighter jets on 24th November. The plane crashed in Northern Syria near the border with Turkey, with the commander of crew Oleg Peshkov being shot dead, however, the navigator was saved.
In Ankara, meanwhile, the claim remains that the plane was attacked after it violated the country's airspace. Turkish authorities say that the pilot was allegedly issued 10 warnings.

This time he is going against Iosif Raihelgauz, some movie and theater director I've never heard before. The subject of this show is: Michail Gorbachev, and the role he played, mainly in the collapse of the Soviet Union, but also about good and bad things he had done.
For Zhirinovsky, this subject is almost as painful as October Revolution of 1917. So, he is like usual using his style. I gotta say, that he have been on this show for so many times, his experience really counts. One of Raihelgauz's supporters made him angry, talking about things Zhirinovsky tired of hearing of, and when Zhirinovsky responds to him, you can see that his hands were actually shaking! Raihelgauz, on the other hand, seeing that he's losing, at one moment I think he was ready to start crying. But of course he is no match. I think Zhirinovsky even realized it and backed down a little.
The arbitrator was some historian that repeated everything twice for some reason. He reminded me Johny ''Two Times'' from ''Goodfellas'' - ''I'm gonna get the paper get the paper'' lol.
Well... And Soloviev as always in his style.
Oh, and keep your hand on ''Pause'' button. They often talk at the same time, so you might need a moment to read everything.

For people who are on my channel for a while, if you even wondered where it all started, well you’re in luck, because this is it. This TV show was the time when Zhirinovsky because known for his temper and irascibility. In this video, Zhirinovsky is debating against Boris Nemtsov, yes the guy that got killed in Moscow recently. From this video, you will be able to realize, what a piece of shit he really was. There are Russian saying: About dead – either good words or nothing. For this, I am not going to go into details. You can figure it out by yourself. But that’s about it. He was against Budyonnovsk hospital armed assault, and probably was one of people who allowed terrorists to escape. He was obviously covering for them. He was suggesting for president to go negotiate with terrorists, when it is clearly, only an expert negotiator must negotiate.
Once again, Zhirinovsky’s opponent can’t find any solid arguments, and cavil, neat pick. As always, all they can do is take something little and blow it outta proportions. He could only mock him personally, misguide the conversation, trying insult, the usual stuff. This was original at the time, so Nemtsov tested it first.
There is something about the name Boris. We have another similar guy name Boris Nadezhdin. And Zhirinovsky has debated against him too. I plan to make that video also, cuz it was heated discussion, to say the least lol.

The video is the recording of a Q&A; with The Guardian's film critic Andrew Pulver that took place after the screening on 19 April 2015.

These highly poetic and imagistic pieces won him fans and many awards around the world, including Grierson Award and Emmy International. Pawlikowski’s distinctive mixing of facts with elements of the personal and poetic has challenged the boundaries of the television documentary and influenced his later cinematic work.

The film won an Emmy and Royal Television Society Award among others.
DOSTOEVSKY’S TRAVEL
Dmitri Dostoevsky, Leningrad tram driver and great-grandson of Fyodor Dostoevsky, travels to Western Europe following in the footsteps of his great-grandfather’s own journey in 1862. Dmitri hopes his efforts will help him to realise his dream of owning a Mercedes.
SERBIAN EPICS
Highly original and formally constructed film Serbian Epics (1992) was made at the height of the Bosnian war, using the siege of Sarayevo as its central image. It includes close up footage of Bosnian Serb politician Radovan Karadzic and General Ratko Mladic, both later wanted by the international court of justice for war crimes.
This multi-layered, ironic, imagistic and at times almost hypnotic study of myth-making and murder aroused a storm of controversy, including questions in the house of commons, at the time of its broadcast.

Tripping with Zhirinovsky is a surreal boat journey down the Volga with the Russian nationalist politician Vladimir Zhirinovsky and his retinue, as he campaigns to win the Russian presidency in 1994. He travels from Moscow to the Caspian Sea, trying to raise the spirits of the impoverished masses assembled at the quayside, promising the re-conquest of Alaska, access to the Indian Ocean and free nylon stockings. The film won the Grierson award for the Best British Documentary in 1995.
Paweł Pawlikowski, born in 1957, is an Oscar-winning Polish/British film director who has lived and worked most of his life in the UK. His films Last Resort (2000) and My Summer of Love (2004) both won the BAFTA award. In this 1-st out of 3 interviews set, he speaks mostly about China and India, and their relations with Russia, and how they will develop.
This interview was made on 21/06/2014. I will try to make the 2 remaining videos as fast as I can, but I don't know when I will be able to. For some reason, this one was particularly hard to translate, for me.

"A nuclear attack can destroy Istanbul very easily. Just one nuclear bomb in the Istanbul Strait will wash the city away," he told Moscow Speaking Radio.
It is not the first time the wild man of Russian politics has made controversial and shocking statements.
He attacked a pregnant journalist during a press conference, telling an aide to "rape the woman hard".
Zhirinovsky is seen ranting at Stella Dubovitskaya who needed to be treated in hospital for shock afterwards, telling her she should stay at home instead of going to work.
The reporter for state-funded Russia Today asked a question, leading the far right Liberal Democratic Party founder to shout the obscenities.
At one point he pushes two male aides towards her shouting: "When I say, you run to her and rape the woman hard" and "Go and kiss her. Grab her."
Zhirinovsky also apologised later on Russian TV and offered to pay any of Dubovitskaya's medical bills.
He also reacted furiously to bearded lady Conchita Wurst’s Eurovision win, branding it "the end of Europe”.
