George Rose may refer to:
George Rose (born December 23, 1952) is an American photographer and writer whose career has included work for the National Football League, Rolling Stone, Time, Life, Newsweek, Sports Illustrated, USA Today and the Los Angeles Times. He has spent 20 years in the California wine industry, holding prominent public relations positions while amassing a significant body of award-winning food and wine photography.
A graduate of Ganesha High School in Pomona, California, George Rose’s newspaper and photographic career began in the early 1970s when he worked as a copy messenger for the Pomona Progress-Bulletin. In 1974, Rose was hired as a staff photographer at the nearby Claremont Courier. Following a 1977 staff photographer stint at the Louisville Courier-Journal, Rose moved back to Southern California to become a staff photographer for the Los Angeles Times.
It was at the Times that Rose honed his photo skills and developed a style covering a variety of national and worldwide news events, major sports and fashion, with a special emphasis on Hollywood and popular culture. Rose was twice nominated for a Pulitzer Prize while working at the Los Angeles Times, first for his 1979 photographic coverage of the Malibu fires, and also in 1980 for his coverage of the presidential election.
Sir George Rose (1782–1873) was an English barrister and law reporter, a master in chancery.
Rose, eldest son of James Rose, barge-owner, of Tooley Street, Southwark, was born in London on 1 May 1782. He received a presentation to Westminster School, and became king's scholar in 1797. He was admitted to Trinity College, Cambridge, but did not take a degree. On 5 May 1809 he was called to the bar at the Inner Temple, and commenced attendance in the common-law courts and on the northern circuit. Rose was a witty man, and his first success is attributed to the publicity he attained by the composition while in court, when Lord Eldon was the presiding judge, of the following verse:
In May 1827 he was named a king's counsel, and in the same year became a bencher of his inn, of which he was reader in 1834 and treasurer in 1835. The misfortune of his father's bankruptcy attracted his attention to the bankruptcy branch in chancery, where he obtained a fair practice. He published ‘Reports of Cases in Bankruptcy decided by Lord Eldon,’ vol. i. 1812, reprinted 1813; vol. ii. 1816, reprinted 1821; this book was continued by J. W. Buck. In 1813 he published ‘An Inquiry into the Nature of Trading as a Scrivener.’ On 5 Dec. 1831 he was sworn in as one of the four judges of the court of review, which had jurisdiction in bankruptcy cases, and on 7 Dec. was knighted at St. James's Palace.

Para guardar el secreto
Porque te amo y me amas
Y a alguien debemos respeto
Te voy a cambiar el nombre
En base a lo que has traido
Ahora te llamaras gloria
Lo tienes bien merecido
Y hemos de darnos un beso
Encerrados en la luna
Secreto amor te confieso
Te quiero como a ninguna
Y puedo cambiarte el nombre
Pero no cambio la historia
Te llames como te llames
Para mi tu eres la gloria
Eres secreto de amor

Delante de la gente no me mires
No suspires no me llames,
Aunque me ames
Delante de la gente soy tu amigo
Hoy te digo, que castigo
