Doug Coulter used to build signal processing and radio gadgets for our favorite three-lettered intelligence agencies, but for the past decade or so, Doug's chosen to explore his engineering interests in the isolated backwoods of Virginia, absent from any pesky boss or sticky bureaucracy.
After tiring of living with a meth head who had a trigger finger itchier than an Appalachian mosquito bite, Doug gave his ex-housemate the boot and confiscated his weapons, thus paving the way for his new found love for gunsmithing. Doug has since open sourced his gun and ammo making techniques on his well-trafficked engineering forum.
But Doug's most exciting creation is his guerilla-engineered nuclear fusion reactor. Doug's pursuit for a limitless source of clean and self-sufficient energy takes place in what he calls his "den of creative chaos," which is essentially a cluttered workshop in the entrance of his home, directly underneath his bedroom.

SUPERMAN IV QUEST FOR PEACE 30 YEARS ANNIVERSARY!
I have always consider the scene where Nuclear Man returns to earth to meet his creator for the first time deserves a careful re-editing. This scene which features how volatile and destructive Nuclear Man's nature can also be a perfect opportunity to redefine the character of Gene Hackman's Luthor's closer to the source material. In this edit instead of a conman hustler I would like to show a devious side of Lex Luthor, who can cleverly turn the tables around. The Luthor that can be mean and dangerous . Episode 02 "Main Testing Field"
The site was selected in 1947 by Lavrentiy Beria.
Prisoners were used to construct a city, with houses, along with a bridge, a simulated subway in the vicinity of the test site, an airport, a rail-station, hospitals, schools. Armor hardware, and approximately 50 aircraft were brought to the testing grounds, as well as over 1,500 animals to test the bomb's effects on life.
It was falsely claimed that surrounding vast 18,000 km steppe was "uninhabited".
The first Soviet bomb, Operation First Lightning, was conducted in on August 29, 1949, scattering fallout on nearby villages of Kazakh nomads, which Lavrentii Beria, had neglected to evacuate.
The yield was 22 kilotons of TNT, similar to the United States' "Fat Man" bomb. Its development was years ahead of American military-intelligence projections, and came as quite a shock to the West.
Later on, this area was used for more than 100 subsequent above-ground weapons tests.
When we arrived to the field, at the distance of about 300 meters, from the center of the first explosion, we found four conical cement things, about 3 meters in length, these used to be a protection for ballistic jet heads, now its blown away by an impact to another 300 meters.
A bit in the distance we discovered testing towers, which represented apartment buildings. Apartments were filled with furniture, animals and manikins.
There are also command centers, cement bunkers, and different types of army related structures.
About one year ago, in the epicenter, there was old, rusty military equipment, tanks and armor. Now it's stolen by the Kazakh nomads, for resale as a scrap metal.
When we walked in the underground metro station, there were no animals or birds inside. Quiet and cold. Army had trains installed here, but it is metal, which means it has been stolen by the nomads, and sold for scrap.
When we went back to the field, It was a good feeling to stand in the epicenter of 100 nuclear explosions.

Superman IV: The Quest for Peace
Superman IV: The Quest for Peace is a 1987 American superhero film directed by Sidney J. Furie, based on the DC Comics character Superman. It is the fourth and final film in the original Superman film series. This is the first film in this series not to be produced by Alexander and Ilya Salkind, but by Golan-Globus's Cannon Films, in association with Warner Bros. Gene Hackman returns as Lex Luthor, who creates an evil Solar-powered Superman clone called Nuclear Man.Superman IV was a box-office and critical failure, with many complaints for the cheap special-effects, lack of originality and excessiveness. Critics have put it in the category of worst films ever made. The film was the first American film in the series, the first being a UK/US co-production and the two sequels being entirely British.
The series went on hiatus until 2006, when Superman Returns was released, which uses the first two films as backstory while ignoring the events of this film and its predecessor.

Armor hardware, and approximately 50 aircraft were brought to the testing grounds, as well as over 1,500 animals to test the bomb's effects on life.
It was falsely claimed that surrounding vast 18,000 km steppe was "uninhabited".
The first Soviet bomb, Operation First Lightning, was conducted in on August 29, 1949, scattering fallout on nearby villages of Kazakh nomads, which Lavrentii Beria, had neglected to evacuate.
The yield was 22 kilotons of TNT, similar to the United States' "Fat Man" bomb. Its development was years ahead of American military-intelligence projections, and came as quite a shock to the West.
Later on, this area was used for more than 100 subsequent above-ground weapons tests.
When we arrived to the field, at the distance of about 300 meters, from the center of the first explosion, we found four conical cement things, about 3 meters in length, these used to be a protection for ballistic jet heads, now its blown away by an impact to another 300 meters.
A bit in the distance we discovered testing towers, which represented apartment buildings. Apartments were filled with furniture, animals and manikins.
There are also command centers, cement bunkers, and different types of army related structures.
About one year ago, in the epicenter, there was old, rusty military equipment, tanks and armor. Now it's stolen by the Kazakh nomads, for resale as a scrap metal.
When we walked in the underground metro station, there were no animals or birds inside. Quiet and cold. Army had trains installed here, but it is metal, which means it has been stolen by the nomads, and sold for scrap.
When we went back to the field, It was a good feeling to stand in the epicenter of 100 nuclear explosions.

Armor hardware, and approximately 50 aircraft were brought to the testing grounds, as well as over 1,500 animals to test the bomb's effects on life.
It was falsely claimed that surrounding vast 18,000 km steppe was "uninhabited".
The first Soviet bomb, Operation First Lightning, was conducted in on August 29, 1949, scattering fallout on nearby villages of Kazakh nomads, which Lavrentii Beria, had neglected to evacuate.
The yield was 22 kilotons of TNT, similar to the United States' "Fat Man" bomb. Its development was years ahead of American military-intelligence projections, and came as quite a shock to the West.
Later on, this area was used for more than 100 subsequent above-ground weapons tests.
When we arrived to the field, at the distance of about 300 meters, from the center of the first explosion, we found four conical cement things, about 3 meters in length, these used to be a protection for ballistic jet heads, now its blown away by an impact to another 300 meters.
A bit in the distance we discovered testing towers, which represented apartment buildings. Apartments were filled with furniture, animals and manikins.
There are also command centers, cement bunkers, and different types of army related structures.
About one year ago, in the epicenter, there was old, rusty military equipment, tanks and armor. Now it's stolen by the Kazakh nomads, for resale as a scrap metal.
When we walked in the underground metro station, there were no animals or birds inside. Quiet and cold. Army had trains installed here, but it is metal, which means it has been stolen by the nomads, and sold for scrap.
When we went back to the field, It was a good feeling to stand in the epicenter of 100 nuclear explosions.

Of course, there's several awesome buildings that we'll be checking out to blow up, including the Dude's Not So RedNeck Diner, Pepe's Summer Home, and a BBQ Food Truck!
