Michael Arthur Herrera (born November 6, 1976), known professionally as Mike Herrera, is an American singer, songwriter, musician, and bass guitarist, most widely known as the lead vocalist, bass guitarist, and composer for the punk band MxPx. He is also the frontman of the band Tumbledown.
Herrera was born in Bremerton, Washington to Art and Michele Herrera and is of Mexican and English / Welsh descent. He is the middle of three children and has an older sister and a younger sister. His parents live in Bremerton in the house he grew up in. Herrera started MxPx while he was in high school with friends Andy Husted and Yuri Ruley with the band's first performance in his back yard.
Herrera is the primary songwriter and vocalist and bassist in MxPx.Herrera started the band with Andy Husted and Yuri Ruley in the summer of 1992, just before starting high school.
As MxPx became less active in the late 2000s, Herrera increasingly appeared as a solo act. These performances include both MxPx and Tumbledown songs, and are generally performed with only vocals and acoustic guitar, though Herrera is occasionally joined by one or two others, including at times Kris Roe of the Ataris.
Guitar Center is the largest chain of musical instrument retailers in the world with 269 locations throughout the United States. Its headquarters is in Westlake Village, California.
Guitar Center's sister companies/subsidiaries incorporate Music & Arts, Musician's Friend, GuitarCenter.com, LMI, Giardinelli, Musician.com, Private Reserve Guitars, Woodwind and Brasswind, Music 123, and Harmony Central.
There has also been a T.V. Series known as Guitar Center Sessions, which has featured artists such as 311, Bad Religion, and Smashing Pumpkins.
Founded in Hollywood by Wayne Mitchell in 1959 as The Organ Center, a retailer of electronic organs for home and church use, it became a major seller of Vox electric guitars and guitar amplifiers, changing its name to The Vox Center in 1964. Toward the end of the 1960s, Vox—whose sales derived largely from its association with The Beatles, who made extensive use of its amplifiers—fell in popularity as Marshall amplifier users Eric Clapton and others captured musicians' imaginations. Accordingly, Mitchell once again changed the name, this time to Guitar Center.
Mike is an abbreviation or shorthand for Michael.

Herrera is a surname of Spanish origin, from the Latin FERRĀRIA, meaning "iron mine" or "iron works" and also the feminine of Latin FERRĀRIUS (and ultimately from the PIE root "bhar" to carry"), "of or pertaining to iron" ; or, alternatively, the feminine of Spanish herrero ("ironsmith", from FERRĀRIUS), which also gives the surname Herrero. Variants of the name include Ferrera and the less common Bherrera. Its equivalent in Portuguese and Galician is Ferreira. Also because of Spanish naming customs, some people are listed here with their family name as their second to last name.
Ernie Ball (born Roland Sherwood Ball; August 30, 1930 – September 9, 2004) was an American entrepreneur, musician, and innovator, widely acclaimed as a revolutionary in the development of guitar-related products. He began as a club and local television musician and small business entrepreneur, building an international business in guitars and accessories that would eventually gross US$40 million a year.
Ball was born Roland Sherwood Ball in Santa Monica, California, USA, and grew up in a musical family, the son of Frances (née Shankland) and Roland Adelbert Ball. His paternal grandfather, Ernest Ball, wrote the standard, "When Irish Eyes Are Smiling" and his father was a car salesman who taught Hawaiian steel guitar on the side. Although Ball initially picked up the steel at age nine to please his father, he became bored and gave it up. In his early teens he began to take a renewed interest in the instrument, practicing as many as three hours a day. Within a year he was a member of the Musicians Union.

The Emergent Church Error: Mike Herrera & David Bazan I think I some how fell into the "Dark Web" when I was looking at a Rob Bell video, as it led me to this "ministry" I mention in the video. I think it is OK to question things, but these guys here have no firm foundation. They do not have core doctrine or beliefs set on the inspiration of scripture, etc. Instead, they question to the point where even logic is up for grabs. Not only do many reject the truth of scripture, they even throw logic out the window.

my man just told me he's leaving,
he swears to go that i'm creeping
i know it looks like i'm cheating
cause he ain't no fool
he's tired of being alone
he says that i'm never at home
i won't pretend i ain't dead wrong
but it ain't room for 2
so if you think that you gotta leave
i won't shed a tear
cause it ain't a man that means more
than my career
he said, if it's a man to let him know
and that i must admit i'm after a show
the must work at the studio,
cause you're always there
i said it ain't a man you should worry about
i don't believe in man going out
but i am starting to have my doubts
and i know it ain't fair
if you think that you gotta leave
i won't shed a tear
cause it ain't a man that means more
than my career, oh
now that it's out on the table
you let me know if you able
will probably never be stable,
this is good as it gets
so now you don't have to wonder
you know that there is another
we might as well call him my lover
it is what it is,
if you think that you gotta leave
i won't shed a tear
cause it ain't a man that means more
than my career, oh
so make up your mind, cause i made up mine
if you can endure being second in life then we're cool
but if you don't, then you know what to do
so make up your mind, cause i made up mine
if you can handle being second in life then we're cool
and if you don't, then you know what to do, uh
so if you think that you gotta leave
i won't shed a tear
cause sorry baby you don't mean more
