Atlan (singer)
Atlan (born 13 June 1968 in Paris) is a French singer-songwriter and producer.
Biography
In 1987, he featured in music video "Si tu veux le savoir" with French singer Marc Lavoine. He played drums in rock band The Romance and left band in 1988 with last show at Gibus in Paris for starting singer career. He met same year Jacky Hanouna, French musician who did all arrangement for his songs. In 2001, he signed first single "Incorrigible" as Christophe del Rio and sold 5000 copies in FNAC stores in France. In 2006, he produced first album Au bout de la route as Atlan including song "Tout l'monde s'en fout", a duet with French TV entertainer Jérôme Anthony. He appeared again on TV channels with Didider Ohmer and Lara Julien and sang live tribute Place Stanislas on France 3 Lorraine-Champagne-Ardenne TV channel for celebrating 250th anniversary of the Place Stanislas in Nancy. Show at Poirel sold out but he cancelled next month show in Paris at La Cigale. His song "Mon Meilleur Souvenir" is broadcast on France Bleu radio then he produced two music videos with French filmmaker Philippe Viladécas for songs "On n'a qu'une mère" and "Paparazzi" published with IMAGINEZ, an American book for students learning French from Vista Higher Learning company working with colleges and universities from United States and Canada. After his divorce, he left Corsica in 2010 and lived in London where he met Nick Ingman, British songwriter who wrote songs for Madonna, George Michael and Diana Ross. In 2013, he produced in France "Paparazzi Dance Mix" with French DJ Maxime Desprez who worked with David Guetta. Same year, he also signed two new singles "7'" and "Je suis Moi", a charity song as Christophe del Rio. Separated from his four children, he moved to New York for a new album then in Venezuela. Also many trips to Russia. Atlan's new album will be released next December 19th and its title : "LIBERTA". A tribute to Island of Beauty .
