Five Finger Discount is band in between. Too much mess to make it among the blues and too much blues to make it among the punk. Yet the duo from Vetlanda stuggles on and refuses to adopt.
Josef Steinwall (guitar/vocals) and Linus Sollin (drums) used to play in the more bluesoriented outfit Malted Milk together, but as the band was put on hold, Five Finger Discount became the natural outlet for their creativity. Consisiting of equal parts of blues and rock n roll, with a little bit of soul and a large dose of love, they play material of both their own and others. Yet whoever is the composer, the thing in common is that the songs have a great groove.

Discount (band)
Discount was an American punk rock band that formed in Vero Beach, Florida, in 1995 and disbanded in 2000. Before disbanding, the group's members relocated to Gainesville, Florida, where they performed their last show in August 2000. They released three full length albums, several EPs, and two b-side collections. Members have gone on to form The Dead Weather, The Kills, The Kitchen, Black Cougar Shock Unit, Unitas, The Routineers, The Draft, Laserhead, Stolen Parts, and Monikers.

Pseudopanax arboreus
Pseudopanax arboreus or Five Finger (Māori: 'Puahou' or 'Whauwhaupaku'), is a New Zealand native tree belonging to the family Araliaceae. It is one of New Zealand's more common native trees, being found widely in bush, scrub and gardens throughout both islands. The compound leaves with five to seven leaflets, hence the common name, are very characteristic of the tree and easily recognized.
Closely related and very similar to Five Finger are P. laetus, P. colensoi and P. macintyrei.
Description
Leaflets obovate-oblong to oblong-cuneate, thinly coriaceous, coarsely serrate-dentate. Flowers usually unisexual; inflorescences are compound umbels with 8-20 primary branchlets up to 10 cm long, 15-20 secondary rays, umbellules with 10-15 flowers in each. Calyx truncate or obscurely 5-toothed; flowers 5mm in diameter, sweet-scented; petals 5, white to pink flushed, ovate to triangular, acute; stamens 5; ovary 2-loculed, each containing 1(-2) ovules; style branches 2, spreading. Fruit fleshy, very dark purple, laterally compressed, 5-8 mm diam.; style branches retained on an apical disc. Seeds 2(-3) per fruit, wrinkled, 3-6 mm long.

Alison Mosshart

Alison Nicole Mosshart (born November 23, 1978) is an American singer, songwriter, artist, and occasional model best known as the lead vocalist for the indie rock band The Kills and blues rock band The Dead Weather. She started her musical career in 1995 with the Florida punk rock band Discount which disbanded in 2000. She then co-founded The Kills with British guitarist Jamie Hince (formerly of Scarfo and Blyth Power) in 2000.
In The Kills, Mosshart is known by her stage name "VV" and Hince is known as "Hotel".
In early 2009, she joined the supergroup The Dead Weather, formed by Jack White, along with Jack Lawrence and Dean Fertita. In that band, her stage name is "Baby Ruthless."
Career
Mosshart features on the 2006 Primal Scream song "Dolls (Sweet Rock and Roll)", from the album Riot City Blues, as well as on the Placebo song "Meds", the title track of their 2006 album. She also featured on Cage the Elephant's song "It's Just Forever", from "Melophobia".

It's been a week since the airing of Shark Tank season finale. In this video men's style, grooming, fitness and lifestyle expert, Aaron Marino of IAmAlphaM, AaronMarino, and Pete & Pedro presents a recap of his pitch and what has happened since Shark Tank.
The Pitch
In regard to his pitch, Alpha said he 'killed it' and he couldn't ask for anything better. He said that the editors were 'kind' to him. He said he's watched the episode over and over since it's like redemption.
He said that the Sharks didn't want anything to with P&P; but were interested in him as an 'influencer'. He said that he didn't need the help with Alpha M.. He went into the Tank for P&P.; So, partnering with Barbara (she's his favorite Shark, incredible, and amazing), but it didn't feel 'right'.
Deal or No Deal?
He respectfully said 'thanks but I'm going to pass' because of the viewers. He couldn't do it- it's about credibility. If someone's money or financial future is invested in him to do promotions, he need to be able to say 'no' as a YouTuber.
When Alpha gets a product that he thinks is cool and viewers will dig, he says he likes talking about it because it's fun and the viewer gets a great deal. But if the product sucks, he wants to say so. He adds that if someone's financial future is at stake and they have a vested interest in Alpha doing promotions, he loses his ability to say 'no'. As a YouTuber and content creator, that is not something for sale. He said that he respects the viewers; he respects himself; he respects that you respect him.

Five Finger Discount is band in between. Too much mess to make it among the blues and too much blues to make it among the punk. Yet the duo from Vetlanda stuggles on and refuses to adopt.
Josef Steinwall (guitar/vocals) and Linus Sollin (drums) used to play in the more bluesoriented outfit Malted Milk together, but as the band was put on hold, Five Finger Discount became the natural outlet for their creativity. Consisiting of equal parts of blues and rock n roll, with a little bit of soul and a large dose of love, they play material of both their own and others. Yet whoever is the composer, the thing in common is that the songs have a great groove.
