I am at the observation tower of the 4 star hotel ie Quality Inn Riverview Resort at the Parshuram Ghat which is 8kms from Chiplun station. The height is 500 metres and I had to keep my camera settings to 120 X digital zoom ie 650mm to take a perfect video of the ERS WDM3A hauled Nzm Ers Mangala Lakshadweep express coming out of the tunnel and passing through the scenic banks of Vashishthi River. A very late running Hazrat Nizamuddin-Ernakulam Mangala Lakshadweep Express overtakes 6345 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus-Thiruvananthapuram Netravati Express at Roha. Netravati Express first pulled into Panvel and soon Mangala Express t pulled in. It was unclear for about 30minutes that who will be cleared first. But 6345 was cleared first at Panvel and was halted at Roha for Mangala Express to overtake.

WAM4 12618 Nizamuddin Ernakulam Mangala Lakshadweep express screams past Lalitpur. M4 was BSL 21279. I had to sadly witness some animals getting crushed at this high speed station. The MPS sign board at Lalitpur shows 115. 12617 covers 3067 KM in 50.35 HRS, average 64 KM/HR and 43 halts. 12618 covers same distance in 50.40 HRS, same average and 44 halts. 12617 departs ERS 10:45 and arrives NZM third day, 13:20. 12618 departs NZM 09:20 and arrives ERS third day, 12:00.
