The incident happened shortly after 6 p.m. Monday at the Neighborhood Food Store in the 200 block East 7th Street. An unidentified man entered the store, demanded cash and then fled on foot, the sheriff’s office said.

The suspect is described as being 6 feet tall with a thin build. He was wearing a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt and blue shorts, the sheriff’s office said.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-458-TIPS (8477).
