REUNION, FRANCE — As investigators analyze the debris that may have come from the ill-fated Malaysia Airlines flight MH370, not only are they trying to determine whether the recovered flaperon belongs to the missing plane, but they are also trying to determine how exactly the part broke off the plane.
The flaperon, which authorities believe likely came from the right wing of a Boeing 777, has limited damages on its front where its hinge connects to the plane's wing. However, there are jagged, horizontal damages on its back.
A group of independent aviation experts told CNN that it's possible that the flaperon was on the plane, but facing down when the aircraft made impact with the ocean. The back then experienced extensive damage upon contact with the water. But the group says that if the flaperon had indeed been on the plane when it made contact with water, its front should have been damaged as well because the flaperon would have pressed up against the plane's wing during the crash.
The experts say that it's more likely the plane was in a steep, spiraling descent and the flaperon fell off since the rear damage is more consistent with general stress rather than the damage caused by a hard impact with water.
An aircraft component specialist who also spoke with CNN disagrees though, saying that there may be limited damage to the front simply because the flaperon remained on the plane during impact.
While authorities are increasingly certain that the flaperon comes from a Boeing 777, they are not yet certain whether its from the missing Malaysia Airlines flight or not.

Hopes grow over unraveling the mystery of Malaysia Airlines missing flight MH-370. Investigators in the Indian Ocean island of Reunion have found more debris washed up on the shore. Locals kept combing the French island's shores after a Boeing 777 wing part, believed to belong to the missing flight, was found there last Wednesday. The wreckage was delivered to a center in Paris where it was identified as a flaperon from a Boeing 777. Experts are trying to verify whether the links come from flight MH370 that disappeared on March 8, 20-14, while en route from Kuala Lampur to Beijing with 239 people on board. Malaysian officials have asked people in the territories near the island to alert them if they find anything like debris.

Section of an aircraft wing washed up on the French island of Reunion, close to Madagascar, is almost certainly part of a Boeing 777, aviation experts and a Malaysian official have said.
Experts suspect the object found in Reunion is a segment from the wing of a Boeing 777 called a flaperon. This movable part helps to stabilise the plane while flying at low speed, the Washington Post reports.
Australia’s Deputy Prime Minister Warren Truss told The Guardian that the flaperon is “not inconsistent” with a Boeing 777, but he and media reports previously cited serial number BB670.
However, Le Journal, a Reunion newspaper, published a photo apparently obtained from the debris showing the number 657BB, that was later matched by several media to a flaperon in a Boeing maintenance manual.
A flaperon is usually made of a light composite material, giving it buoyancy and is usually hollow, allowing for the creation of air pockets. Meaning, unlike other heavier parts of the plane, it is less likely to sink.
Truss added that Barnacles on the debris may confirm it is from the missing plane, once experts examine them to determine the length of time the wreckage has been in the water.
According to the Washington Post, to travel the 2,800 mile distance between the MH370 search area and Reunion, the debris would’ve had to transit around six miles a day over 500 days.

16 months after Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 vanished, a piece of an aircraft has been found on Reunion Island in the Indian Ocean. French officials are examining it, and the airline itself says it is too early to speculate on its origin. It does appear to be from the same model of plane, but other large aircraft have crashed close to the area where the wreckage appeared. Tom Bateman reports.

An aircraft part that was washed up on La Reunion Island off the southeastern African coast almost certainly belongs to a Boeing 777, Malaysia’s transport minister has said. It may have come from the missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370.
"It is almost certain that the flaperon is from a Boeing 777 aircraft. Our chief investigator here told me this," Deputy Transport Minister Abdul Aziz Kaprawi was cited by Reuters as saying.
The two-meter long piece of debris was found Wednesday by people clearing trails along the coastline of La Reunion, a French island in the Indian Ocean.

MH370: Reunion 'flaperon' debris may help search for missing Malaysian Airlines flight - TomoNews

REUNION, FRANCE — Section of an aircraft wing washed up on the French island of Reunion, close to Madagascar, is almost certainly part of a Boeing 777, aviation experts and a Malaysian official have said.
Experts suspect the object found in Reunion is a segment from the wing of a Boeing 777 called a flaperon. This movable part helps to stabilise the plane while flying at low speed, the Washington Post reports.
Australia's Deputy Prime Minister Warren Truss told The Guardian that the flaperon is "not inconsistent" with a Boeing 777, but he and media reports previously cited serial number BB670.
According to the Washington Post, to travel the 2,800 mile distance between the MH370 search area and Reunion, the debris would've had to transit around six miles a day over 500 days.

As investigators analyze the debris that may have come from the ill-fated Malaysia Airlines flight MH370, not only are they trying to determine whether the recovered flaperon belongs to the missing plane, but they are also trying to determine how exactly the part broke off the plane.
The flaperon, which authorities believe likely came from the right wing of a Boeing 777, has limited damages on its front where its hinge connects to the plane’s wing. However, there are jagged, horizontal damages on its back.
A group of independent aviation experts told CNN that it’s possible that the flaperon was on the plane, but facing down when the aircraft made impact with the ocean. The back then experienced extensive damage upon contact with the water. But the group says that if the flaperon had indeed been on the plane when it made contact with water, its front should have been damaged as well because the flaperon would have pressed up against the plane’s wing during the crash.
The experts say that it’s more likely the plane was in a steep, spiraling descent and the flaperon fell off since the rear damage is more consistent with general stress rather than the damage caused by a hard impact with water.

The wreckage from missing Flight MH370 may have been located by a teenager who claims to have found a fuselage “full of skeletons” and a Malaysian flag in the jungle of a remote Philippine island. However, Philippine authorities insisted on Tuesday that the teenager’s claims were false, following an investigation. Could this be the actual wreckage, or will the fate of Flight MH370, which went missing in March last year with 239 people on board, remain a mystery? Watch it on the Lip News with Elliot Hill and Mark Sovel.

SAGBAY ISLAND, PHILIPPINES — Plane wreckage reportedly found in early September on Sugbay Island in the southern Philippines could be missing U.S. military charter Flying Tiger Line Flight 739 from 53 years ago, instead of missing Malaysia Airlines Flight 370.
According to an article on Air Facts Journal, on March 14, 1962, Flight 739 was carrying 107 passengers, and 93 of them were jungle-trained Army Rangers en route to South Vietnam. The flight was headed to Clark field in the Philippines from Guam.
Flight 739 radioed in a routine position report 80 minutes after take-off. Another report scheduled an hour later never came. A crew of a tanker along the route reported seeing an in-flight explosion from Flight 739. No wreckage or debris was ever recovered. Over the course of eight days, ships and airplanes from four branches of the service searched more than 200,000 square miles, the largest sea and air search recorded in the Pacific until the search of MH370.
The supposed wreckage was found by a teen and his friends while bird hunting in Ubian Island early September. They reportedly came upon the wreckage and saw "many" skeletal remains and a tattered Malaysian flag, Free Malaysia Today reports.
The Philippine Daily Inquirer reported that the Philippine military has deployed a gunboat to the island, but no wreck has been found, and locals have no knowledge of any plane crashing in the area.
"I sent people to the site where it (the plane wreck) was supposedly seen and the results were negative," the deputy police director of Tawi-Tawi, Superintendent Glenn Roy Gabor, told AFP by phone.

MH370 WRECKAGE CONFIRMED - Malaysia Confirms Airplane Debris Found on Reunion Island is from MH370
Part of the aircraft wing found on Reunion Island is from the missing MH370 plane, Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak has confirmed. A whole 515 days after Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 disappeared from the skies en route from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing, Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak confirmed early Thursday that a barnacle-encrusted fragment of wing that had washed up last week on the remote Indian Ocean island of Réunion, a French territory, was indeed from the doomed flight. “It is with a very heavy heart,” Najib told a press conference organized around midnight in Malaysia, “that I must tell you that an international team of experts has conclusively confirmed that the aircraft debris…is indeed MH370.”
Debris found in the western Indian Ocean on Wednesday appears to be part of a Boeing 777, the same model as Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 that disappeared in 2014, according to a source close to the investigation.
The source said there is a unique element to the Boeing 777's flaperon, a wing component, that Boeing observers believe they are seeing in photos.
The debris was found Wednesday off the coast of Reunion Island, a French department in the western Indian Ocean. It is being examined to determine whether it is connected to flight MH370, a member of the French air force in Reunion said Wednesday.
The debris was found off the coast of St. Andre, a community on the island, according to Adjutant Christian Retournat.
Boeing officials conducted an initial assessment of the debris using photographs. The source stressed the observations are preliminary. Malaysia sends investigators to see whether wreckage found on the French Island of Reunion, believed to be a moving part on the wing called a flaperon, comes from missing Boeing 777 "I promise the families of those lost that whatever happens, we will not give up." The search efforts for MH370, led by Australia, are focused on a broad expanse of the southern Indian Ocean - around 4,000km to the east of Reunion. wreckage island "indian ocean" australia french airplane flight travel discovery discover information surveillance tracking "flight tracking" GPS official news media entertainment family professional identity 2015 2016 malaysia "air asia" team "search and rescue" ocean sea asia australian truth trends trendy pilot training holiday vacation "summer 2015" winter conference "elite nwo agenda" montagraph dutchsinse big one earthquake volcano false flag attack alex jones infowars conspiracy illuminati new world order end game global reset gerald celente trends in the news coast to coast am g4t jsnip4 lindsey williams coast to coast am louis farrakhan daboo7 daboo77 anonymous russia
It was this information that identified the search area in the southern Indian Ocean, west of Perth. A group of relatives of many of the Chinese passengers said in a statement that they wanted "100%" certainty about where the part is from, and that the search for the airliner should continue.

In the case of MH370 there is not even an official version. Nobody knows what happened to MH370. It's a modern mystery. After the revelations by Edward Snowden about the extent of global surveillance by the US National Security Agency, it seems somehow hard for laymen to believe that an airliner can just disappear. At the start, nearly everyone had a theory and because there was very little solid evidence, it was hard to debunk completely any single explanation. But then information about the pings sent to a satellite from the plane showed it had ended up somewhere west of Australia. The theories began to fizzle out, only to intensify again in July when Malaysia Airlines MH17 crashed in Ukraine. Forums have seen discussions of claims that the plane purported to be MH17 at the crash site in Ukraine was actually MH370. Both aircraft were the same model but MH17 was a 1997 version as opposed to MH370, which Malaysia Airlines took ownership of in May 2002. Proponents of this conspiracy theory claim photographs from the crash scene show the plane was the newer version. "The MH17 plane had an extra window next to the second right-side door, which MH370 did not - and neither did the wreckage" at the MH17 crash site, one account reads. Much of the theory centers on where the Malaysia flag appeared in the plane's livery. According to a pro-Russian rebel leader, the bodies had been dead days before the plane took off. In this theory, the passports were supposedly pristine and had been planted on the dead bodies. But other plane bloggers have rubbished this theory of the windows and flag. And then there's the detail of the theory. Could anybody steal an airliner with 239 people on board and keep it hidden for six months? Is it possible to believe it was loaded with corpses and substituted for a scheduled Malaysia Airlines flight from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur? These and many other questions seem to warrant further investigation!

The missing flight isn’t in the news quite as much now. The pings have stopped, and the search is entering a second, much slower, phase. The unanswered questions are many. But by most accounts, it is being assumed that the pilots are criminals, suicidal maniacs, hijackers, or terrorists, since no one else on the airplane appears to fit those descriptions. It may be a long time before we know for sure, but in the meantime, I believe the public, and particularly the pilot’s families, need to know that there is a high likelihood that they are victims, and heroic victims at that. The purpose of this book is also not to place blame on anyone in particular, although, as we’ll see, there might have been an opportunity to save the airplane. In the news, there does not seem to be much credibility given to the possibility that what happened was an accident. A rare accident, we hope, but an accident nonetheless. But even given an accident, can blame be placed for making the situation worse? Could there have been negligence in avoiding the escalation of an accident into a disaster? I say yes. I believe we can place blame for this, and it’s not on the pilots. Knowing more about how the airplane and its various systems work will help members of the public more accurately judge the relevancy of the various scenarios being discussed. I can imagine some of my friend’s eyes glazing over while reading some of the technical information presented in this book. And skimming over those sections or skipping them is OK. But these are the bases for the conclusions I reach, so you can either read them or take them on faith. This kind of knowledge will also answer questions like “why didn’t the passengers answer their cell phones?” and “was someone hiding in the cargo bay?”, and “how can the airplane fly by itself?”, and “a hacker got into the flight computer and flew the airplane!” If we keep speculation grounded in the real world, based on how things actually work (and don’t work), some of the more realistic theories can be better evaluated. That’s why there is so much engineering stuff in this book, which you may want to skip over. It’s there as much to explain what is impossible as much as what things are possible. My hypothesis is that the pilots are heroes. Lost in the dark, without flight instruments, with smoke in the cockpit, flying under extreme stress and awesome responsibility, and hoping against hope to see a fighter interceptor outside their window to guide them home, they knew the minutes left on their oxygen system were numbered. They have not survived their ordeal, and, in my opinion, died trying to save the flight. And this small book will not bring solace to the families of the rest of the crew and passengers. But the dedicated effort the pilots and crew probably made amidst the terror and confusion may be worthy of hero status. I feel for all of the victims’ families, but especially for the families of the pilots, who are not only grieving, but whose probably heroic loved ones are (perhaps necessarily, but unfortunately) being labeled otherwise.
