Chromatography (/ˌkroʊməˈtɒɡrəfi/; from Greek χρῶμα chroma which means "color" and γράφειν graphein "to write") is the collective term for a set of laboratory techniques for the separation of mixtures. The mixture is dissolved in a fluid called the mobile phase, which carries it through a structure holding another material called the stationary phase. The various constituents of the mixture travel at different speeds, causing them to separate. The separation is based on differential partitioning between the mobile and stationary phases. Subtle differences in a compound's partition coefficient result in differential retention on the stationary phase and thus changing the separation.
Chromatography may be preparative or analytical. The purpose of preparative chromatography is to separate the components of a mixture for more advanced use (and is thus a form of purification). Analytical chromatography is done normally with smaller amounts of material and is for measuring the relative proportions of analytes in a mixture. The two are not mutually exclusive.
Khan Academy is a non-profit educational organization created in 2006 by educator Salman Khan with the aim of providing a free, world-class education for anyone, anywhere. The organization produces short lectures in the form of YouTube videos. In addition to micro lectures, the organization's website features practice exercises and tools for educators. All resources are available for free to anyone around the world. The main language of the website is English, but the content is also available in other languages.
The founder of the organization, Salman Khan, was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, United States to immigrant parents from Bangladesh and India. After earning three degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (a BS in mathematics, a BS in electrical engineering and computer science, and an MEng in electrical engineering and computer science), he pursued an MBA from Harvard Business School.
In late 2004, Khan began tutoring his cousin Nadia who needed help with math using Yahoo!'s Doodle notepad. When other relatives and friends sought similar help, he decided that it would be more practical to distribute the tutorials on YouTube. The videos' popularity and the testimonials of appreciative students prompted Khan to quit his job in finance as a hedge fund analyst at Connective Capital Management in 2009, and focus on the tutorials (then released under the moniker "Khan Academy") full-time.
The Fuse is the eighth album by Pennywise, released on August 9, 2005. The Fuse charted at number 36 in Australia on the ARIA Albums Chart, their third lowest position on the chart among the band's album releases.

You will learn about "Chromatography" in this video. Does black ink consist of only black color or any other color as well? Let us find out by the process of paper chromatography. Chromatography is a technique of separating two or more dissolved solids which are present in a solution in very small quantities. Take a strip of filter paper. Draw a line with a pencil close to the lower edge of the paper. Put a small drop of ink in the centre of the line. Let it dry for sometime. Take a jar containing some water. Put the filter paper in it such that the drop of ink is just above the water level. After sometime, the water starts gradually rising up by capillary action. As the water moves up, it takes the dyes present in the ink along with it. Slowly, we start seeing some different colors on the...

Chromatography. Animation (IQOG-CSIC) Chromatography is a technique for separating mixtures of products, widely used in the organic chemistry lab. It is based on the principle of selective retention, whose objective is to separate the different components of a mixture. In chromatographic techniques always a mobile phase consisting of a fluid (gas or liquid) which carries the sample through a stationary phase which is a solid or liquid on affixed solid support. The components of the mixture interact differently with the stationary phase. Thus, the components pass through the stationary phase at different speeds and are separated. Also used as product purification technique. Animation. Instituto de Química Orgánica General (IQOG-CSIC) http://www.youtube.com/user/CanalDivulgacion
your line was so dead
every time that i called it was a kick in the head
i tried to be calm
i swear to you baby you didn't know what you'd done
the moon shed its shell
some cresent effervescent light shivered and fell
to my feet, from the sky
i ask too many questions that get no reply
it's too cold to snow, i don't feel my hands
my blood is so slow in my veins
i'm too tired to cry
and the earth is so still
it's too cold to snow but i hope it will
prone on the floor
couldn't think any less, couldn't drink any more
sleep was a prize
i died a small death when i opened my eyes
did i cease to exist
from the moment we met or the moment we kissed
i dare you to agree
that if you treat me this way then you cannot you
cannot love me
now you're here in your shame
you're sorry and so on i'm glad that you came
i know just like you
that i will forgive you whatever you do
i know just as well
that you've caused me less pain than i've caused to
myself
with my glass to my lips
i'm thinking maybe maybe it doesn't get better than
this
