No Limit may refer to:
Percy Robert Miller, known by his stage name Master P or his business name P. Miller, is an American rapper, actor, entrepreneur, investor, author, filmmaker, record producer, philanthropist, and former athlete. He is the founder of the record label No Limit Records, which was relaunched as New No Limit Records through Universal Records and Koch Records, then again as Guttar Music Entertainment, and finally, currently, No Limit Forever Records. He is the founder and CEO of P. Miller Enterprises, an entertainment conglomerate, and Better Black Television, a cable television network.
Miller gained fame in the late 1990s with the success of his hip-hop group TRU as well as his fifth solo rap album Ice Cream Man, which contained his first single "Mr. Ice Cream Man". In 1997, after the success of one of his biggest singles to date, "Make 'Em Say Uhh!," went double platinum, Miller grew further in popularity. Then Miller released his second platinum album Ghetto D. Miller also starred in his own street film, mostly based on his life, I'm Bout It.
No Limit Records was an American record label founded by rapper, entrepreneur and CEO Percy "Master P" Miller. The label's albums were distributed by Priority Records, Universal Music Group and Koch Records. The label included artists such as Snoop Dogg ,Mercedes , Silkk the Shocker, Mystikal , Mia X, Mac, C-Murder, Magic, Romeo Miller, Fiend, Soulja Slim and Kane & Abel among others.
Percy "Master P" Miller began his career by distributing his records through a small San Francisco Bay Area record label, "No Limit Record Shop", which started out in Richmond, where his mother resided. Despite being on the West Coast, he maintained his connections to the South through his father who remained in New Orleans. He signed his friends E-A-Ski & CMT, then-girlfriend Sonya C, King George, Big Ed, and Lil Ric. Master P then joined his two younger brothers, Silkk the Shocker (Vyshonn Miller) and C-Murder (Corey Miller), as the hip-hop trio TRU. Master P's early work was produced by K-Lou and recorded at K-Lou Studios in Richmond, California.
Hip hop or hip-hop is a sub-cultural movement that formed during the early 1970s by African-American and Puerto Rican youths residing in the South Bronx in New York City. It became popular outside of the African-American community in the late 1980s and by the 2000s became the most listened-to musical genre in the world. It is characterized by four distinct elements, all of which represent the different manifestations of the culture: rap music (oral), turntablism or DJing (aural), b-boying (physical) and graffiti art (visual). Even while it continues to develop globally in myriad styles, these four foundational elements provide coherence to hip hop culture. The term is often used in a restrictive fashion as synonymous only with the oral practice of rap music.
The origin of the hip hop culture stems from the block parties of the Ghetto Brothers, when they plugged in the amplifiers for their instruments and speakers into the lampposts on 163rd Street and Prospect Avenue and used music to break down racial barriers, and from DJ Kool Herc at 1520 Sedgwick Avenue, where Herc mixed samples of existing records with his own shouts to the crowd and dancers. Kool Herc is credited as the "father" of hip hop. DJ Afrika Bambaataa of the hip hop collective Zulu Nation outlined the pillars of hip hop culture, to which he coined the terms: MCing or "Emceein", DJing or "Deejayin", B-boying and graffiti writing or "Aerosol Writin".

No Limit Records will forever go down as one of the most successful record labels in Hip Hop history. It was a powerhouse! Master P and his band of merry men (and women) took over the late 90s/early 2000s with their heavy duty baselines, haunting piano arrangements, touching tales of street life and bounce happy club bangers inspired by the New Orleans bounce movement that Cash Money Records were also a part of. One artist that always stood out and today continues to be referenced as one of the label's fan favourites is Fiend. Complete with the type of gruff vocals that 20 cigarettes a day won't even help you achieve, his ghetto gospel tales were always welcomed and his high-octane energy levels on some of No Limit's biggest hits were impossible to ignore. Today a member of Curren$y's ...
"Some people just jump into the game and they want to sell millions of records. First you gotta sell 5 or 10 records." Amazing that the formula that P expalins on this clip is still working to this day with labels like Cash Money/Young Money. Say what you want, P was a smart businessman for the most "part. Always know for being the biggest exaggerator in hip-hop history, P says that Goodie Mob, Westside Connection, Uncle Luke and even Total (yes the R&B; group from Bad Boy Entertainment) would be on the I'm Bout It soundtrack. We all know none of those occured.
Extremely rare, hard to find cut by Krazy from 1996. The very first night Q93 played this track, I was listening and heard people calling nonstop to say that Krazy sounded just like Tupac Shakur. New Orleans rapper Krazy first hit the scene in 1996 with the album I Shed Tears for the World which spawned the single "Chopper City," which proved to be a regional radio and club favorite and led to numerous comparisons to Tupac Shakur (both posses a similar rapping style and fondness for the same lyrical subject matter). Other releases soon followed, including My Krazy World and Recognize Game. Renowned rap artist/producer Master P soon discovered Krazy, who hooked him up with 504 Boyz, as he lent his rapping skills to their 2000 hit single "Wobble Wobble" and full-length album Goodfellas. Stone Uphill Pushing Man, the new Paul Gilbert CD will be released in Europe on August 11, 2014 on Music Theories Recordings. A limited edition vinyl release will follow on September 15, 2014. "Stone Pushing Uphill Man is the first big step to truly find my voice on the guitar. I wanted the inspiration of my favorite singers for such a big challenge, so I chose a lot of cover songs. I think the listeners will be amazed at what I’ve been able to do with the guitar. Besides the melodies, I’ve also created most of the production with guitars. If the song needed to have keyboards or strings… I found a way to make it happen with the guitar." - Paul Gilbert Stone Uphill Pushing Man is the first Paul Gilbert album that will be released on vinyl. Following Warped 2014 we decided to spend time writing, recording, and completing a song within a four day time span: completely bypassing much of the process we usually utilize to create material. While the end product is less concise as what we often strive for, South of the City is younger and less methodical; which we hope might intrigue both longtime and new fans of the band. Please enjoy. 'South of the City' is a 7" colored vinyl single made exclusively for Record Store Day. It is limited to 3,000 copies and available now at indepedent record stores across the United States. Description from Zenph's website: Glenn Gould's debut album of Bach's Goldberg Variations was recorded in June 1955. The Columbia LP quickly became one of the most revered piano recordings ever made and Gould became the most famous classical artist of the day. His exciting, unorthodox new way of playing Bach left listeners awestruck and critics around the world hailing him as a genius. But until recently this iconic album was limited by the dated recording technology of its time. On September 25, 2006, history was made again. Zenph Studios recorded its debut re-performance® to standing ovations in the CBC's famed Glenn Gould Studio in Toronto. The date would have been Glenn Gould's 74th birthday, and what a gift Zenph created to give his fans. The Zenph re-performance is a revelation ...

Something's gotta be known
Some don't need to be said
Which way we're gonna go
Staying home's just making me mad
Me, I gotta get out
Me, I got a few rights
Don't need to worry or doubt
'Cause I'm gonna be rocking tonight
Get on board
Check it out
Look around,
Ain't no limit to what love allows
You and me
Let it be
Be just fine
No limit to it anytime
Me, I'm telling the truth
Saying it right in the crowd
Any chance with you
Hey you know I'm gonna be around
Get on board
Check it out
Look around,
Ain't no limit to what love allows
If we don't make it
We don't make it
I won't cry
Well, I've been thinking
And I know one thing
We're never gonna make it
If we don't try
Me, I'm feeling good
Ain't no fooling around
I've been misunderstood
But I know what I'm talking about
Get on board
Check it out
Look around,
Ain't no limit to what love allows
You and me
Got to fly
Set it free
No limit if you just know how
