He was last seen in Qubool Hai as a brooding, the “I’ll let my eyes do the talking” Mr. Khan. 2) Vivian Dsena – Madhubala Our Desi Edward Cullen. After doing a couple of shows, he finally got his dues in Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani, where he played a vampire. Honestly, I don’t think anybody could have pulled off this role other than him. He brought in the right amount of mystery required for this role. 3) Gurmeet Choudhary – Nach Baliye The new Lord of television, he started his career with Ramayan (where he found his real life Sita). When the series ended, I thought he would be a one-show wonder, as I couldn’t really picture him in any other role. But then came Geet and he proved everybody wrong. 4) Siddharth Shukla – Balika Vadhu The Salman Khan of television, he plays Anandi’s second husband in Balika Vadhu, which needs no introduction. I personally think it is very difficult to enter an already famous show and be accepted by the audience. 5) Kushal Tandon – Bigg Boss The rockstar of television – according to me, he is currently the most talked about actor on television. First seen in Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai, I instantly felt this boy is not going anywhere. Good looks, boyish charm, and good acting, he definitely hit the jackpot. Later we saw him shake that booty in Nach Baliye. 6) Anas Rashid – Diya aur Baati hum Anas Rashid is currently a part of the most watched show on television. To be a part of a show where all the focus is on the mother-in-law – daughter-in-law drama and still be noticed is commendable. He is undoubtedly the most under-rated actor on television. 7) Karan Wahi – Nach Baliye The cutie of television. I am sure his fan following ranges from 8 to 80. Currently, he is the most wanted host and performer on television. Hosting Nach Baliye and Junior Idol, he has also established himself as quite a dancer after Jhalak Dikhla Jaa. 8) Kunal Karan Kapoor – Na bole tum Na maine Kuch Kaha 1 and 2 They just don’t make actors like him anymore on television. Usually actors become famous just for their looks or personal life or anything other than what they should actually be famous for, ACTING! One look and you know he is not your run-of-the-mill actor. He started his career with Remix, and does something unique in all of his shows. Be it Left Right Left or the pan chewing rascal Angad to very recently, the very loveable Mohan Bhatnagar in Na bole tum Na maine Kuch Kaha 1 and 2. 9) Rajat Tokas – Jodha Akbar He plays this larger-than-life character, Akbar in Jodha Akbar. Honestly, for me, it was quite an unusual choice for him to play Akbar. After watching Hrithik Roshan do the same, I wasn’t quite sure if Rajat could do justice to the role. BUT boy was I wrong! After watching a couple of episodes, he had a new fan in me! 10) Mohit Raina – Devon Ke Dev Mahadev My absolute favourite. Of all the mythological/fantasy shows lately (and believe me there have been A LOT), he is the most aptly cast actor as Lord Mahadev.
