Latrobe Valley

Latrobe City is made up of three smaller cities, Moe, Morwell and Traralgon, and is located in the Gippsland region of Victoria, Australia. It is an important player in the state's electricity industry, with its brown coal reserves being one of the largest found in the world. It is also home to the Australian Paper's pulp and paper mill, the largest in the country.

La Trobe City is home to a wide range of fine dining restaurants, wineries, galleries, museums as well as markets, scenic drives and water activities. It is also home to 6 golf courses. Latrobe was not given the status of a city until 2000, and before then was known as the Shire of La Trobe from 1994.
