Malachi 1 - BLACK SO CALLED "HEBREWS" DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME
1 The burden of the word of the LORD to Israel by Malachi.
2 I have loved you, saith the LORD. Yet ye say, Wherein hast thou loved us? Was not Esau Jacob's brother? saith the LORD: yet I loved Jacob,
3 And I hated Esau, and laid his mountains and his heritage waste for the dragons of the wilderness.
4 Whereas Edom saith, We are impoverished, but we will return and build the desolate places; thus saith the LORD of hosts, They shall build, but I will throw down; and they shall call them, The border of wickedness, and, The people against whom the LORD hath indignation for ever.
Obadiah 1: 1 The vision of Obadiah. Thus saith the Lord GOD concerning Edom; We have heard a rumour from the LORD, and an ambassador is sent among the heathen, Arise ye, and let us rise up against her in battle.
2 Behold, I have made thee small among the heathen: thou art greatly despised.
3 The pride of thine heart hath deceived thee, thou that dwellest in the clefts of the rock, whose habitation is high; that saith in his heart, Who shall bring me down to the ground?
4 Though thou exalt thyself as the eagle, and though thou set thy nest among the stars, thence will I bring thee down, saith the LORD.
5 If thieves came to thee, if robbers by night, (how art thou cut off!) would they not have stolen till they had enough? if the grapegatherers came to thee, would they not leave some grapes?
6 How are the things of Esau searched out! how are his hidden things sought up!
7 All the men of thy confederacy have brought thee even to the border: the men that were at peace with thee have deceived thee, and prevailed against thee; they that eat thy bread have laid a wound under thee: there is none understanding in him.
8 Shall I not in that day, saith the LORD, even destroy the wise men out of Edom, and understanding out of the mount of Esau?
9 And thy mighty men, O Teman, shall be dismayed, to the end that every one of the mount of Esau may be cut off by slaughter.
10 For thy violence against thy brother Jacob shame shall cover thee, and thou shalt be cut off for ever.
11 In the day that thou stoodest on the other side, in the day that the strangers carried away captive his forces, and foreigners entered into his gates, and cast lots upon Jerusalem, even thou wast as one of them.
12 But thou shouldest not have looked on the day of thy brother in the day that he became a stranger; neither shouldest thou have rejoiced over the children of Judah in the day of their destruction; neither shouldest thou have spoken proudly in the day of distress.
13 Thou shouldest not have entered into the gate of my people in the day of their calamity; yea, thou shouldest not have looked on their affliction in the day of their calamity, nor have laid hands on their substance in the day of their calamity;
14 Neither shouldest thou have stood in the crossway, to cut off those of his that did escape; neither shouldest thou have delivered up those of his that did remain in the day of distress.
15 For the day of the LORD is near upon all the heathen: as thou hast done, it shall be done unto thee: thy reward shall return upon thine own head.
16 For as ye have drunk upon my holy mountain, so shall all the heathen drink continually, yea, they shall drink, and they shall swallow down, and they shall be as though they had not been.
17 But upon mount Zion shall be deliverance, and there shall be holiness; and the house of Jacob shall possess their possessions.
18 And the house of Jacob shall be a fire, and the house of Joseph a flame, and the house of Esau for stubble, and they shall kindle in them, and devour them; and there shall not be any remaining of the house of Esau; for the LORD hath spoken it.
19 And they of the south shall possess the mount of Esau; and they of the plain the Philistines: and they shall possess the fields of Ephraim, and the fields of Samaria: and Benjamin shall possess Gilead.
20 And the captivity of this host of the children of Israel shall possess that of the Canaanites, even unto Zarephath; and the captivity of Jerusalem, which is in Sepharad, shall possess the cities of the south.
21 And saviours shall come up on mount Zion to judge the mount of Esau; and the kingdom shall be the LORD'S.

EDOM = ROMA = CRISTIANISMO. En este artículo mostramos un paralelo del colapso de una estructura de una boda que se realizó en el salón Versalles en Jerusalén en Mayo 24 de 2001 y su gran réplica 111 días después en el mundo occidental (USA) con las Torres Gemelas (World Trade Center) en Septiembre 11 de 2001. Os edomitas eram descendentes de Esaú, irmão de Jacó. Eles habitavam na região montanhosa ao sul do Mar Morto. Eram inimigos ferrenhos do povo de Israel, vivendo sempre em conflito com eles. Os edomitas, também eram conhecidos como "idumeus". Era um povo guerreiro que vivia em cavernas. Foi justamente por causa desse ódio violento contra Israel, que Deus resolveu castiga-los:
"Assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Porquanto Edom se houve vingativamente para com a casa de Judá, e se fez culpadíssimo, quando se vingou deles; Portanto assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Também estenderei a minha mão sobre Edom, e arrancarei dela homens e animais; e a tornarei em deserto, e desde Temã até Dedã cairão à espada." (Ezequiel 25: 12 -- 13).
Muitas profecias foram feitas a respeito de Edom. Vamos analisar algumas:
Isaías fala a respeito de uma grande matança em Bozra (capital de Edom), e em toda a terra de Edom:
"A espada do SENHOR está cheia de sangue, está engordurada da gordura do sangue de cordeiros e de bodes, da gordura dos rins de carneiros; porque o SENHOR tem sacrifício em Bozra, e grande matança na terra de Edom." (Isaías 34:6)
Jeremias fala sobre a destruição dos edomitas (descendentes de Esaú):
"Mas eu despi a Esaú, descobri os seus esconderijos, e não se poderá esconder; foi destruída a sua descendência, como também seus irmãos e seus vizinhos, e ele já não existe." (Jeremias 49:10)
Obadias profetiza a sentença final: Os edomitas serão exterminados para sempre:
"Por causa da violência feita a teu irmão Jacó, cobrir-te-á a confusão, e serás exterminado para sempre." (Obadias 10)
Cumprimento
Em 582 a.C, quatro anos após a destruição de Jerusalém, o povo edomita foi quase que totalmente exterminado pelos babilônios. Os edomitas que restaram foram obrigados a viver no sul de Judá. Eles desapareceram durante as guerras judaico-romanas. Em 70 d.C, já não se tinha notícias dos filhos de Edom.
Jeremias ainda profetizou que Edom ficaria deserta, ninguém mais moraria ali:
"Será como a destruição de Sodoma e Gomorra, e dos seus vizinhos, diz o SENHOR; não habitará ninguém ali, nem morará nela filho de homem." (Jeremias 49:18).

No Dicionário Bíblico Universal -- Buckland, página 122 existe um comentário interessante sobre o cumprimento dessa profecia: "É hoje de tal sorte o deserto de Edom, que a gente se espanta e pergunta como é que uma região tão estéril e acidentada pôde, em tempos antigos, ser adornada de cidades, e habitada por um poderoso e opulento povo! O seu atual aspecto devia desmentir a sua história, se essa história não fosse confirmada por muitos vestígios de sua primitiva grandeza, pelos sinais de uma antiga cultura, isto é, pelas ruínas de cidades e fortificações, vendo-se ainda também os restos de muralhas e de estradas empedradas".

Edom
Edom and Idumea are two related but distinct terms relating to a historically contiguous population, but two separate, if adjacent, territories occupied at different periods of their history by the Edomites/Idumeans. Os edomitas eram descendentes de Esaú, irmão de Jacó. Eles habitavam na região montanhosa ao sul do Mar Morto. Eram inimigos ferrenhos do povo de Israel, vivendo sempre em conflito com eles. Os edomitas, também eram conhecidos como "idumeus". Era um povo guerreiro que vivia em cavernas. Foi justamente por causa desse ódio violento contra Israel, que Deus resolveu castiga-los: "Assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Porquanto Edom se houve vingativamente para com a casa de Judá, e se fez culpadíssimo, quando se vingou deles; Portanto assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Também estenderei a minha mão sobre Edom, e arrancarei dela homens e animais; e a tornarei em deserto, e desde Temã até Dedã cairão à espada." Os edomitas eram descendentes de Esaú, irmão de Jacó. Eles habitavam na região montanhosa ao sul do Mar Morto. Eram inimigos ferrenhos do povo de Israel, vivendo sempre em conflito com eles. Os edomitas, também eram conhecidos como "idumeus". Era um povo guerreiro que vivia em cavernas. Foi justamente por causa desse ódio violento contra Israel, que Deus resolveu castiga-los:
"Assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Porquanto Edom se houve vingativamente para com a casa de Judá, e se fez culpadíssimo, quando se vingou deles; Portanto assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Também estenderei a minha mão sobre Edom, e arrancarei dela homens e animais; e a tornarei em deserto, e desde Temã até Dedã cairão à espada." (Ezequiel 25: 12 -- 13).
Muitas profecias foram feitas a respeito de Edom. Vamos analisar algumas:
Isaías fala a respeito de uma grande matança em Bozra (capital de Edom), e em toda a terra de Edom:
"A espada do SENHOR está cheia de sangue, está engordurada da gordura do sangue de cordeiros e de bodes, da gordura dos rins de carneiros; porque o SENHOR tem sacrifício em Bozra, e grande matança na terra de Edom." (Isaías 34:6)
Jeremias fala sobre a destruição dos edomitas (descendentes de Esaú):
"Mas eu despi a Esaú, descobri os seus esconderijos, e não se poderá esconder; foi destruída a sua descendência, como também seus irmãos e seus vizinhos, e ele já não existe." (Jeremias 49:10)
Obadias profetiza a sentença final: Os edomitas serão exterminados para sempre:
"Por causa da violência feita a teu irmão Jacó, cobrir-te-á a confusão, e serás exterminado para sempre." (Obadias 10)
Cumprimento
Em 582 a.C, quatro anos após a destruição de Jerusalém, o povo edomita foi quase que totalmente exterminado pelos babilônios. Os edomitas que restaram foram obrigados a viver no sul de Judá. Eles desapareceram durante as guerras judaico-romanas. Em 70 d.C, já não se tinha notícias dos filhos de Edom.
Jeremias ainda profetizou que Edom ficaria deserta, ninguém mais moraria ali:
"Será como a destruição de Sodoma e Gomorra, e dos seus vizinhos, diz o SENHOR; não habitará ninguém ali, nem morará nela filho de homem." (Jeremias 49:18).

O seu atual aspecto devia desmentir a sua história, se essa história não fosse confirmada por muitos vestígios de sua primitiva grandeza, pelos sinais de uma antiga cultura, isto é, pelas ruínas de cidades e fortificações, vendo-se ainda também os restos de muralhas e de estradas empedradas".
