Marcos Tinajero (born January 30, 1975) is a Mexican Luchador (wrestler) who is most well known under the name Ozz / Dark Ozz, a heel character (referred to as a "Rudó" in Lucha Libre) that works for Asistencia Asesoría y Administración (AAA). He has been part of The Black Family since it was formed. During his time in the Black Family Ozz has been a member of Lucha Libre Latina (LLL) and La Secta del Mesías, its predecessor La Secta Cibernetica and La Legión Extranjera but now the Black Family is its own independent entity.

Professional wrestling career

After training under one of Mexico's most prolific wrestling trainers, Jorge "Skayde" Rivera, Marcos Tinajero made his debut in 1996. He started out working under several colorful masks with the Face (good guy, referred to as a "Technicó" in Lucha Libre) gimmicks of "Angel Del Misterio" (Spanish for "Angel of Mystery") and Rey Dragón (Spanish for "King Dragon"). In 1999 Tinajero would come up with the gimmick that first got him noticed by the promoters and pushed up the rankings, Path Finder. As Path Finder he teamed with El Alebrije, El Felino and Oscar Sevilla in a losing effort against Abismo Negro, Electroshock, Pentagón II and Gran Apache at Verano de Escandalo (1999). He would also unsuccessfully compete in the 2000 Rey de Reyes tournament where he lost in the qualifying round to Charly Manson. Later that year he was one of the AAA' luchadors chosen to tour Japan and teamed with Perro Aguayo, Jr. and El Alebrije to defeat the teams of Los Vatos Locos (Picudo, Charly Manson and Espiritu), Team Japan (Naomichi Marufuji, Minoru Tanaka and Genki Horiguchi) and Los Vipers (Histeria, Psicosis II and Maniaco) in one of the feature bouts at TripleMania VIII. His last major appearance as Path Finder came on September 29, 2000 when he teamed with Oscar Sevilla, Ludxor and Pegasso to defeat Gran Apache and Los Diablicos (Mr. Condor, Marabunta and Angel Mortal) in an Eight Person "Atómicos" tag team match at Verano de Escandalo (2000).

The Black Family

In the early parts of 2001 Tinajero made a radical change both to his appearance, his gimmick and his alignment as a wrestler. Gone was the masked, high flying, fan friendly Path Finder, instead he was reinvented as the face paint wearing, dark, Goth looking villain called Ozz. He teamed with four other wrestlers that either had or adopted similar gimmicks, looks and attitudes to form the stable the Black Family. The other wrestlers were Charly Manson, Escoria and Cuervo. Early on in the stable's lifetime Charly Manson suffered a grave injury after falling from a ladder during a match which put Manson out of wrestling for a long period. The Black Family brought in Chessman to be the fourth member. Around the time of Chessman joining the Black Family became part of Lucha Libre Latina (LLL), the Mexican version of the New World Order, a group led by Chessman's long time friend Cibernético. Even though they were part of a much larger group the four men still worked as a unit, a stable within the stable.

The Black Family made their first major show appearance at Verano de Escandalo (2001) where they lost an elimination match to Los Vatos Locos (Espiritu, Nygma, Silver Cat and Picudo), also in the match were Los Vipers (Psicosis II, Histeria, Maniaco and Mosco de la Merced) and Los Exoticos. the team did not make another major show appearance until a year later when they unsuccessfully challenged Los Vatos Locos for the Mexican National Atómicos Championship at Verano de Escandalo (2002). that challenge was the first of many as the Black Family began chasing the Atómicos title and feuding with Los Vatos Locos. when Los Vatos Locos lost the titles to someone else in late 2002 the Black Family started to target the new champions Oscar Sevilla and Los Barrio Boys (Alan, Billy Boy and Decnis). When Charly Manson returned to action he sided with Los Vipers instead of the Black Family leading to a match at Guerra de Titanes 2002 where the Black Family defeated Manson, Histeria, Mosco de la Merced, and Psicosis II. On July 18, 2003 the Black Family won their first championship as a unit when they defeated Oscar Sevilla and Los Barrio Boys for the Atómicos title, but their run only lasted 31 days before Sevilla and Los Barrio Boys regained the titles. Later in the year Muerta Cibernetica was brought in to get revenge on La Parka. When Cibernético suffered a sever knee injury Muerta Cibernetica took over the group and kicked Cibernético out. Muerta Cibernetica was himself unmasked by La Parka 2 years after Cibernético was unmasked. After holding the Atómicos titles for 789 days the Black Family lost to the Mexican Powers (Crazy Boy, Juventud Guerrera, Joe Lider and Psicosis II) on October 18, 2006.

End of La Secta

In early 2008 El Mesias and the rest of La Secta was kicked out of La Legión Extranjera with La Legión putting El Mesias out of commission for a while. When El Mesias returned to active competititon tension began to build between the Black Family and El Mesias. The tensions culminated after El Mesias lost a Steel Cage "Street Fight" Match to Vampiro at Verano de Escandalo (2008) which lead to the Black Family attacking El Mesias officially severing their relationship. After breaking up La Secta del Mesias, Dark Ozz assumed leadership of the group as they began to feud with El Mesias. DUring the fall and winter of 2008 both Charly Manson and Chessman made hints at them possibly returning to the Black Family but Manson got injured and taken off TV while Chessman turned on the group after feinting friendship. On January 9, 2009 Chessman teamed with the Psycho Circus (Killer Clown, Psycho Clown and Zombie Clown) to end the Black Family's Atómicos title run.

is a Japanese professional wrestler who currently works for All Japan Pro Wrestling. Prior to becoming a pro wrestler, he played rugby.

Career

Toryumon/Dragon Gate

Kondo was part of the T2P class in Toryumon. At first he was a face in the Toryumon Seikegun.

He would turn heel and join the Italian Connection, changing his name to Condotti Shuji, after the shopping district. One of his stablemates in the ItaCon was "brother" YASSHI, who has remained a firm ally of his ever since.

In 2003, the ItaCon was divided over the face/heel issue, with Shuji leading the heel side. He would lead the turn, briefly rename to Dotti Shuji, and soon after revert to his real name. He and YASSHI formed a group called Hagure Gundam (Stray Army in English) with fellow ItaCon member Shogo Takagi, and Torou Owashi. When Hagure Gundam was joined by Masaaki Mochizuki, it renamed to Aagan Iisou. Mochi would later be kicked out of the stable after he and Kondo feuded over who was leader, and Takuya Sugawara was added to the group.

On December 31, 2004, all five members of Aagan Iisou - Kondo, YASSHI, Sugawara, Owashi, and Shogo - were fired from Dragon Gate for alleged behavioral problems.

dragondoor

Kondo was built up as the heel ace of the dragondoor promotion. All five members of Aagan Iisou were on the roster, but Kondo only aligned himself with YASSHI and Sugawara. The three of them, despite being booked as heels, got most of the popular fan support.

AJPW

He soon joined AJPW, where he and long-time associate "brother" YASSHI would ally themselves with TARU's Voodoo Murders stable and even hold the All-Asia Tag Team Titles for a short time. The Voodoo Murderers were previously in an intense feud against RO&D;, but defeated their long-time foes after D'Lo Brown and Buchanan turned on RO&D; and joined the Voodoo Murderers. Kondo also became the AJPW World Junior Heavyweight Champion having won the title from junior ace Taka Michinoku. On February 17, 2007, Kondo lost the Jr. Heavyweight Title to Katsuhiko Nakajima, thus ending his 1-year, 4-month title reign.

El Dorado

Kondo is also one of the main players in dragondoor's successor, El Dorado. Unlike in dragondoor, Kondo was set up to be the face ace of the promotion. He and YASSHI split for the first time in years, with YASSHI briefly leading his own faction. Kondo started a faction called Sukiyaki, named after his famous love of meat dishes. When his friend and fellow Dragon Gate exile Naoki Tanisaki abruptly left El Dorado and returned to Dragon Gate, Kondo disbanded Sukiyaki. After defeating Magnitude Kishiwada on August 15, 2008 to win the Greatest Golden League, Kondo announced his departure from El Dorado.

John R. Rivera (born on October 28, 1982) is a Cuban–American professional wrestler better known by his ring name Rocky Romero and as the fourth incarnation of Black Tiger. As Romero he was one half of the tag team The Havana Pitbulls (formerly Los Cubanitos), along with Ricky Reyes. He also was a member of the No Remorse Corps in Ring of Honor with Roderick Strong and Davey Richards. Romero and Richards are former ROH World Tag Team Champions in the stable. Romero's wrestling style based around stiff shoot-style kicks and multiple armlock variations.

Career

Romero debuted in 1997. He has received training in the New Japan Dojo in Los Angeles and for some time now has been a regular trainer there. His career has taken him through promotions in the Southern California region to Mexico, where he competed successfully for Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (the country's longest-running promotion) and in Japan where he has worked most notably in New Japan Pro Wrestling, where he was chosen to become the fourth incarnation of Black Tiger, the villainous gaijin opponent of Tiger Mask (in this case Tiger Mask IV).

Mexico (2003–2010)

In late 2003, Romero began working for Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre. On September 12, Romero became CMLL's first-ever World Super Lightweight Champion after defeating Volador Jr. in a tournament final. Romero has since won the title two more times and is currently in his third reign. In early 2008, Romero began competing as the Grey Shadow, a masked gimmick. However, on October 5, 2008, Romero jumped from CMLL to rival promotion Asistencia Asesoría y Administración while still holding the CMLL World Super Lightweight Title. He made his surprise debut at the promotion's television taping in Puebla and was announced as a member of Sean Waltman's D-Generation MEX stable at the show. On July 4, 2010, Romero turned rudo and joined La Legión Extranjera. However, just four days later it was reported that Romero had left AAA, after the company had asked him to take a pay cut.

Ring of Honor (2004–2005)

Romero's main exposure in the United States came while he was one half of the Havana Pitbulls tag team, with partner Ricky Reyes, in Ring of Honor where he and Reyes set a record for the longest reign as ROH Tag Team Champions, a record they held until it was broken by the team of Austin Aries and Roderick Strong. While in ROH, he and Reyes were also members of Homicide's stable, The Rottweilers. He left the company at the end of 2005 to focus on working in Japan.

Japan and the independent circuit (2007–present)

Romero made his debut in Pro Wrestling Noah on March 4, 2007 versus Mushiking Terry, casting into doubt the future of the Black Tiger IV persona, although his participation in the debut show of the Inoki Genome Federation could have been more of an issue. Romero, however, did compete as Black Tiger IV in August 2007 in Chikara to compete for the NWA World Junior Heavyweight Championship against champion Mike Quackenbush. At NJPW's Resolution '09 on April 5, Romero lost in a mask vs. title match against Tiger Mask IV thus ending his role as Black Tiger. On October 12, 2010, New Japan Pro Wrestling announced that Romero would return to the promotion in November, teaming with Davey Richards in the Super J Tag League, as a member of the promotion's top heel stable, Shinsuke Nakamura's CHAOS. The five day long tournament ended on November 13, with Romero and Richards winning their block and advancing to the finals, where they were defeated by their CHAOS team mates Jado and Gedo.

Return to ROH (2007–2010)

He returned on January 26, 2007 by defeating Davey Richards. The following evening, Romero walked out on his long time partner Reyes in the midst of a match against the Briscoe Brothers. On March 31, Romero was introduced as the newest member of the No Remorse Corps. Romero and new stablemate Davey Richards lost to Jack Evans and Naruki Doi. Rocky Romero has been touring with NOAH recently and is currently teaming with Atsushi Aoki in the NTV Jr Heavyweight Cup. He also made his debut for Antonio Inoki's new promotion the Inoki Genome Federation defeating El Blazer. On January 26, Romero teamed with Davey Richards and defeated the teams of The Age of the Fall (Tyler Black and Jimmy Jacobs), Austin Aries and Bryan Danielson, and Brent Albright and B.J. Whitmer in an Ultimate Endurance match to capture the World Tag Team Championship. They had a rematch on March 26, 2010, in Arizona during WrestleMania weekend, which Koslov won.

Jose Ibarra is a Mexican Luchador (wrestler) who is best known as Escoria / Dark Escoria (Spanish for "Dreg"), a face (good guy) character that works for Asistencia Asesoría y Administración (AAA). Ibarra was been part of The Black Family since it was formed, but left the stable in October 2010. Professional wrestling career

Ibarra made his wrestling debut in 1998 after training with Blackman, Negro Sosa and Draco for over six months. It was not until 2000 where Ibarra adopted his Escoria (sometimes referred to as "Scoria") that he was successful in the ring.
