RVCA (pronounced: rvca) is a clothing company based in Costa Mesa, California. The logotype for RVCA portrays the letter A without a crossbar. This leaves it looking like a lambda. The 'V' looking character in RVCA name is a 'U'. The 'U' is written in traditional Roman script, and thus appears as a 'V'. Occasionally, RVCA is written in a different script or appears in art where it is clear that the true name is 'Ruca'. 'Ruca' can be translated as "clothes" in Greek, and it is believed the 'V' as 'U' convention arises from this Greco-Roman connection. However, the closest anglicization of the Greek word for "clothes" (ρούχα) would be roúcha. RVCA is owned by the Australian company Billabong.
RVCA was founded by Pat Tenore and Conan Hayes, a professional surfer from Hawaii.Billabong International Limited purchased RVCA in July 2010.
RVCA is closely associated with skateboard and surf culture; the company sponsors a skateboard and surf team. RVCA clothing is found in skateboard/surf shops and numerous other shops.
Curren Caples (born January 10, 1996) is a professional skateboarder from Ventura, California. He has been skateboarding for more than 10 years. He turned pro in March 2013, and his first professional contest was the Tampa Pro, where he placed 15th.
At X Games Barcelona 2013 he won a silver medal in skateboard park. At X Games Munich 2013, he won a gold medal in skateboard park, beating the favorite, Pedro Barros. Caples qualified 2nd behind Barros in the skateboard park qualifying at the 2014 Austin X Games, eventually finishing 5th in the final. In the skateboard street event he was knocked out of qualifying by Ryan Sheckler, failing to reach the final six.
He is currently sponsored by Flip Skateboards, Oakley, RVCA Clothing , Independent, Vans, Ricta Wheels, Mob Grip, Momentum Ride Shop, Bones Swiss bearings, and Monster Energy.
Kala Alexander (born March 20, 1969 in Wahiawa, Hawaii) is an American surfer, surf gang co-founder, actor, and philanthropist.
Kala Alexander was born on Oahu but moved to Hanalei, Kauai, shortly afterweards. He was raised by his mother, Virginia Alexander, who was from Detroit. He is half-Hawaiian through his father, who left before he was born. Alexander received a scholarship to attend the private Kamehameha School on Oahu when he was 13 for scoring in the top five percent on statewide tests. However, at the end of his sophomore year of high school, he was expelled for smoking marijuana and insubordination. Alexander graduated high school back home in Kauai.
1992 was what Alexander called "the most painful, hurtful year I've had in my whole life." Alexander lost the roof of his house in Hurricane Iniki. His mother was injured in the floods, and she died from her injuries. In addition, his half brother's father's four year old girl was raped and murdered. Alexander was arrested and sentenced to five years in prison for assault after beating up a man who ran over his pit bull and killed him. He was released after nine months for good behavior, but was readmitted for 16 months after violating the conditions of his parole.

RETNA and EL MAC have teamed up for another mural, this time in Culver City. Their newest mural, titled Of Our Youth, can be seen on the side of Graphaids art supply store, on La Cienega between Jefferson and Washington. The imagery and text used in this mural was inspired by their time spent at Skid Row, while painting their previous mural. The artists met a man by the name of Ralph Woodruff aka Chato and were inspired by this man’s past hardships, experiences and overall outlook on life. His ability to recognize his mistakes and atone for his sordid past was something that resonated with RETNA. The text which reads, “So today I’m trying to change a few things to rectify the situation of my past. So today I’m looking towards the future (of our youth highlighted)” is a quote taken from t...

Asesina
Si te pudiera agarrar
te comería la boca a besos,
a besos, a besos. Si te pudiera agarrar
te comería la boca a besos,
a besos, te besaría así.
Niña dame un besito
rico sabrosito
que lo quiero así. (Ariel tira besos)
Niña dame un besito
rico sabrosito
que lo quiero así.
Mauricio!
”este es el ritmo y el swing
que te quiero cantar” (rapea Mauri)
”y dale dale dale Ráfaga,
y dale dale dale Ráfaga!” (canta Sergio)
Asesina rompiste mi corazón
asesina te aprovechas de lo que sos
te pido que me des un beso
te pido que me des un beso
y te alejás, y te alejás.
Asesina rompiste mi corazón
asesina te burlas de mi amor
te pido que me des un beso
te pido que me des un beso
y te alejás, y te alejás.
Niña dame un besito
rico sabrosito
que lo quiero así, así, así, así.
Niña dame un besito
rico sabrosito
que lo quiero así.
(se repiten las tres últimas estrofas)
Si te pudiera agarrar
te comería la boca a besos,
a besos, a besos.
Si te pudiera agarrar
te comería la boca a besos,
a besos, te besaría así.
