ROYAL RANDWICK – John Walter
ACATOUR: Huge at only his second start in a race. Out the back early and then attempted to sustain a 700m run at just his second start in a race. He should have walked in and will be further improved. A very nice horse going forward.
SANDOWN LAKESIDE – Darren Potter
ARMADA: He’s had four runs for Darren Weir and is at peak fitness now. He improved with blinkers on Saturday and ran well from an awkward draw.
LORD DURANTE: Gate one was a curse for him Saturday. His run was excellent and he’s ready to win if he can find a race that allows him to get into his rhythm.
DOOMBEN – John McLeod
ESCHIELE: Went very well again and is on track for the Derby. He needs to draw a gate for a change!
MORPETTVILLE – Aaron Barby
SHOWPERO: Having his first start he showed early speed, took control at the top of straight and dashed clear for a soft win. He ran same time as older horses in the Benchmark 70 and will be winning more races.
ROYAL GUARD: He hit line well with a margin to third. His previous runs this prep had been okay and is close to a win.
