The occupation of the town hall of Nikaia has ended – the building was occupied moments after a local anarchist demonstration in response to the killing of Mohammad Atif Kamran by the police, with the demand that the eight demonstrators who were arrested in the demo would be set free.
After a decision by the occupation’s assembly, the Nikaia Town Hall occupation ended with people chosing to occupy the Propylea building of Athens University instead: this is much more central (on Panepistimiou Str) and will hopefully offer more exposure to the cases of Kamran and the eight demonstrators, both of which mainstream media are trying to cover up quickly.
