Clive Anderson (born 10 December 1952) is an English television and radio presenter, comedy writer and former barrister. Winner of a British Comedy Award in 1991, Anderson began experimenting with comedy and writing comedic scripts during his 15-year legal career, before starring in Whose Line Is It Anyway? on BBC Radio 4, then later Channel 4. He has also been successful with a number of radio programmes, television interviews and guest appearances on Have I Got News for You, Mock the Week and QI. He has also recently appeared on Alexander Armstrong's TV panel show 'Alexander Armstrong's Big Ask'
Anderson was educated at Stanburn Primary School and Harrow County School for Boys where his group of friends included Geoffrey Perkins and Michael Portillo. His Scottish father was manager of the Midland Bank's Wembley branch. Anderson attended Selwyn College, Cambridge, where, from 1974 to 1975, he was President of Footlights. He was called to the bar at the Middle Temple in 1976 and became a practising barrister, specialising in criminal law.

Peter Edward Cook (17 November 1937 – 9 January 1995) was an English actor, satirist, writer and comedian. An extremely influential figure in modern British comedy, Cook is regarded as the leading light of the British satire boom of the 1960s. He was closely associated with the anti-establishment comedy that emerged in Britain and the United States in the late 1950s.
In 2005, Cook was ranked at number one in the Comedians' Comedian, a poll of over 300 comics, comedy writers, producers and directors throughout the English-speaking world.
Cook was born at his parents' house, "Shearbridge", in Middle Warberry Road, Torquay, Devon. He was the only son and eldest of the three children of Alexander Edward "Alec" Cook (1906–1984), a colonial civil servant, and his wife Ethel Catherine Margaret, née Mayo (1908–1994). He was educated at Radley College and Pembroke College, Cambridge, where he studied French and German. As a student, Cook initially intended to become a career diplomat like his father, but Britain "had run out of colonies", as he put it. Although politically largely apathetic, particularly in later life when he displayed a deep distrust of politicians of all hues, he did join the Cambridge University Liberal Club.
Alan Gordon Partridge is a fictional character portrayed by English actor and comedian Steve Coogan. A parody of British television personalities, Partridge is a tactless and inept television and radio presenter who often insults his guests and whose inflated sense of celebrity drives him to treachery and shameless self-promotion. Coogan described Partridge as a Little Englander, with right-wing values and poor taste.
Partridge was created by Coogan and Armando Iannucci for the 1991 BBC Radio 4 comedy programme On The Hour, a spoof of British current affairs broadcasting, as the show's sports presenter. In 1992, Partridge hosted a spin-off Radio 4 spoof chat show, Knowing Me, Knowing You with Alan Partridge, which transferred to television in 1994. Coogan starred as Partridge in a two-series BBC sitcom, I'm Alan Partridge, in 1997 and 2002, which earned two BAFTAs. The character returned in 2010 with a web series, Mid Morning Matters with Alan Partridge, followed in 2011 by bestselling spoof autobiography, I, Partridge: We Need to Talk About Alan, and in 2013 a successful feature-length film, Alan Partridge: Alpha Papa.

The famous interview, in full, of Clive Anderson annoying Barry Gibb so much, he walked off the show. To be honest, Clive was pushing it a bit but Barry was nevertheless being a bit of a pompous tit. I can't watch this without thinking of David Walliams' impersonation on ROCK PROFILES. [NB : I've disabled comments on this video because I'd just had enough of trolling behaviour]

Joan on great form here! From around '95/ 96 (no not Joan's age ;-) Compare this interview to the one on the Ruby Wax compilation show, and she's much funnier & quicker here, with Ruby she's just going through the motions, maybe she didn't like Ruby or was just having a bad hair day - really it was bad ;-) Not admitting any surgery yet, side stepped that, just like in the Ruby Wax interview ;-) I suppressed this hiss in this too much, sorry! Enjoy!
