A band of cloud over QLD and NSW with a trough is causing patchy rain, mostly northern NSW. Low cloud following a front over VIC and SA s bringing brief showers. Cloud over TAS is thinning out in the wake of a low, causing showers to generally ease. Sunny and warm in the north.
