Aggregate data
In statistics, aggregate data are data combined from several measurements. When data are aggregated, groups of observations are replaced with summary statistics based on those observations.
In a data warehouse, the use of aggregate data dramatically reduces the time to query large sets of data. Developers pre-summarize queries that are regularly used, such as Weekly Sales across several dimensions such as by item hierarchy or geographical hierarchy.
In economics, aggregate data or data aggregates are high-level data that are composed from a multitude or combination of other more individual data, such as:

Data aggregation in under 2 minutes and why it is so important for the human brain to be able to understand data.
Data aggregation
Data aggregation is the process of combining data from large amounts of rows and columns into smaller numbers of rows and columns. It can often be thought of as adding or multiplying data to make it more understandable.
Raw data consists of huge numbers of rows and columns and is extremely difficult to look at or understand. In order to find data useful, we often aggregate it into tables.
An example of data aggregation would be looking at a table with monthly youtube views rather than daily. This way you would have a table with 12 rows instead of 365.
Modern marketers who want to become data-driven need to leverage the power of data aggregation to make use of their marketing data.

In this tutorial you will learn how data aggregation helps in pre-processing the data sets and why it is used.
There are two techniques that we will use to perform data aggregation and will perform the same using Python Programming:
1) Group By
2) Rolling Window
Data Aggregation is the task of combining multiple rows to make dataset more informational and useful for a particular business requirement.
We can use different techniques to perform data aggregation such as using sum, mean, standard deviation etc.
We will cover the practical in the next tutorials of this course.

Aggregate data
In statistics, aggregate data are data combined from several measurements. When data are aggregated, groups of observations are replaced with summary statistics based on those observations.
In a data warehouse, the use of aggregate data dramatically reduces the time to query large sets of data. Developers pre-summarize queries that are regularly used, such as Weekly Sales across several dimensions such as by item hierarchy or geographical hierarchy.
