Great Little Cable, But Make Sure You Need Micro.
This is a great little cable. It is surprisingly packed with latest features like Ethernet, audio return, and 3D and yet still very thin as a micro cable versus the increasing thicknesses of standard HDMI cables that pack in equivalent features. Being digital, the signal either makes it or it doesn't with a high degree of tolerance. But the key here is it is a small short cable, and proportionally sized to match the port and size of device you are likely to connect it to. For this length, it should work perfectly. For connecting to a phone, or tablet, it is about the right size, compared to a standard HDMI cable whose thickness would be too clunky for such devices. The weight of the cable is quite light too, so it doesn't add much stress to the little port either. It is a competent little cable. The only thing I miss is clear labeling on the cable to identify its features. The connectors only say Ethernet, so you could forget that it supports 3D and audio return if you threw it in a box with others. You can always add your own tag.
But make sure you actually need a *micro* HDMI cable, not a *mini* or standard HDMI. Standard HDMI connectors came first, then mini which is about 1/3 the size, and now micro that is about 1/5 the size. My camcorder has a mini HDMI port, not a micro. Your TV is almost certainly standard, and that is one end of this cable. So check which your device needs for the other end before you order if you aren't sure.

HDMI
HDMI (High-Definition Multimedia Interface) is a proprietary audio/video interface for transferring uncompressed video data and compressed or uncompressed digital audio data from an HDMI-compliant source device, such as a display controller, to a compatible computer monitor, video projector, digital television, or digital audio device. HDMI is a digital replacement for analog video standards.
HDMI implements the EIA/CEA-861 standards, which define video formats and waveforms, transport of compressed, uncompressed, and LPCM audio, auxiliary data, and implementations of the VESA EDID. CEA-861 signals carried by HDMI are electrically compatible with the CEA-861 signals used by the digital visual interface (DVI). No signal conversion is necessary, nor is there a loss of video quality when a DVI-to-HDMI adapter is used. The CEC (Consumer Electronics Control) capability allows HDMI devices to control each other when necessary and allows the user to operate multiple devices with one remote control handset.

Great Little Cable, But Make Sure You Need Micro.
This is a great little cable. It is surprisingly packed with latest features like Ethernet, audio return, and 3D and yet still very thin as a micro cable versus the increasing thicknesses of standard HDMI cables that pack in equivalent features. Being digital, the signal either makes it or it doesn't with a high degree of tolerance. But the key here is it is a small short cable, and proportionally sized to match the port and size of device you are likely to connect it to. For this length, it should work perfectly. For connecting to a phone, or tablet, it is about the right size, compared to a standard HDMI cable whose thickness would be too clunky for such devices. The weight of the cable is quite light too, so it doesn't add much stress to the little port either. It is a competent little cable. The only thing I miss is clear labeling on the cable to identify its features. The connectors only say Ethernet, so you could forget that it supports 3D and audio return if you threw it in a box with others. You can always add your own tag.
But make sure you actually need a *micro* HDMI cable, not a *mini* or standard HDMI. Standard HDMI connectors came first, then mini which is about 1/3 the size, and now micro that is about 1/5 the size. My camcorder has a mini HDMI port, not a micro. Your TV is almost certainly standard, and that is one end of this cable. So check which your device needs for the other end before you order if you aren't sure.

This is a tutorial on how to install the Solo HDMI Ribbon Cable on the 3DR Solo. It is common knowledge that one of the main reasons why videos captured using Solo's gimbal has significant vibrations. While others have tried 'rerouting' the stiff HDMI cable, to 'shaving-off' the casing to 'loosen' the cable, it remains a challenge to get buttery-smooth cable-cam shots. UNIC UC50 LED DLP Portable Micro (very small) Projector Review
Welcome back to Tested By Pixel Movers, today we test the UNIC UC50 Pocket Micro LED DLP Projector. It's a very small LED Projector with 30,000 lamp life and has an internal battery that will last 1.5 hours. It will take a Full HDMi, USB pen Drive, SD Card inputs and can be charged from USB or Mains. You can add an external USB battery pack for extra life and it will project up to 40 feet in a dark room. It's not HD but is pretty watchable and great for taking on holiday or round to a friends house. For the price it's pretty amazing. Tested with MKV movie on USB STICK and ATMOSFX Halloween Haunt video decorations. Only drawbacks found: It's not HD but the picture is pretty good with 1080p encodes. It is common knowledge that one of the main reasons why videos captured using Solo's gimbal has significant vibrations. While others have tried 'rerouting' the stiff HDMI cable, to 'shaving-off' the casing to 'loosen' the cable, it remains a challenge to get buttery-smooth cable-cam shots.
At Relish3D, we have been experimenting with various options and finally decided that the only viable solution was to custom design a micro HDMI cable specifically to replace the OEM Solo HDMI cable. (Note that this procedure may void your Solo Warranty.)
Our Solo Ultra Thin Micro HDMI Flat Ribbon Cable is a replacement cable for the Solo's rigid Micro HDMI cable. This is a 2 x reinforced, ultra thin, ultra flexible Micro HDMI to Micro HDMI cable that is specifically custom designed for Solo. Welcome back to Tested By Pixel Movers, today we test the UNIC UC50 Pocket Micro LED DLP Projector. It's a very small LED Projector with 30,000 lamp life and has an internal battery that will last 1.5 hours. It will take a Full HDMi, USB pen Drive, SD Card inputs and can be charged from USB or Mains. You can add an external USB battery pack for extra life and it will project up to 40 feet in a dark room. It's not HD but is pretty watchable and great for taking on holiday or round to a friends house. For the price it's pretty amazing.
Tested with MKV movie on USB STICK and ATMOSFX Halloween Haunt video decorations.
Only drawbacks found:
It's not HD but the picture is pretty good with 1080p encodes.
Can't decode Dolby and DTS signals so you'll need to reconvert movies to work with audio through the unit. That said if you use a powered HDMi splitter an external amp could handle the audio.
There is no Keystoning so you need to project level to the screen you are using. This is a shame and something I'm hoping they can rectify in a software update.
VERDICT:
Amazing little gadget for the price and hopefully the price will drop over the next few months. Shame about the lack of keystone as this is something that needs to be on every projector. Also the Dolby DTS decode issue is only a problem if listening to the sound from the internal speaker or external speaker or headphones attached to the UC50. Brilliant little gadget that's wowed everyone I've shown it to. A movie theatre in your pocket and great for digital decorating too.

1. Format TF card to FAT-32 / 32K first.

updating firmware
Firmware update to V2.2
1. Format TF card to FAT-32 / 32K first.
2. Download the firmware (FIREFLY6.BIN) to TF card.
3. Put the TF card into FIREFLY 6 (make sure battery above 50 percent).
4. Power on FIREFLY 6 and it will update firmware automatically.
5. When updating, the LED will flash.
6. When update finish, the machine will reboot automatically.
7. Delete the firmware file (FIREFLY.BIN) in the TF card.

1. Improve Gyro image stabilizaion function further(That will be better).
2. Improve WDR.
3. When there are no external USB power plug in, no operation for 2 minutes, it will auto power off for saving battery power.
