Tau is the father of the Seven
Great Monsters of
Guarani Mythology. After kidnapped to Keraná the princess of
Guarani people,
the couple give birth to seven monsters, remarkably identified by Guarani people as the
Pleiades, in
Taurus Constellation.
Both Keraná and Tau suffered a curse by Angatupyry a godess spirit, and that is why their children are monsters.

Tau is a devil spirit who got married with the daughter of Tume Arandú (the father of Guarani
People), Keraná.
Keraná is a sort of princess and it means "sleepyhead". The couple were pursued by Angatupyry, a minor godess of good.
The couple got the Great Monsters of Guarani Mythology:
Teju Jagua, caverns god, Mbói Tu'ĩ aquatic animals and wetlands protector, Moñái,protector of the fields,
Jasy Jatere, lord of naps, Kurupi, god of sexuality, Ao Ao, monstruous sheep, Luison, the lord of death

Tau father of the Seven Monsters that ascended to the Sky and conform the Pleiades. He transform himself in a handsome young man, to
captive the attention of Keraná, a sort of Guarani princess
. In the Paraguayan countryside, the legend is still popular and
told for generations as oral tradition. The couple got a curse and their children were lost as devil monsters who pursued good people.

Tau is remembered as the cause of perdition in Guarani popular legends. Is the son of Tupâ, a supreme God, that creates him
to distinguish what is good and what is wrong. He mantains a rivalry with Angatupyry, the spirit of what is good.
Tau was sent to
Earth and He causes destruction. This angers Angatupyry and they get into a colossal fight with each other, lasting seven days and nights, before Tau is eventually defeated. As a result of his defeat, Pitajovai, a rather obscure war god, exiles him from humanity. He got married with Keraná a Guarani maiden, and the couple gave birth to the Great Monsters.
He fight seven days, got seven mounstrous childrens all of them born in the seven month of conception "sietemesinos", in guarani popular culture.

Tau the spirit of the devil, He caught people in perdition, got married Keraná the Guarani maiden and was defeated in a great battle by the
Spirit of goodness, Angatupyry. Still popular in
Paraguay, is the father of the seven Great Monsters.
The god of War Pytajovái sends him to exile, but he returned to Earth.
It's one of the sons of Tupâ, the supreme god of sea and thunder.
All his childrens with Keraná were burned in a cavern in Paraguay countryside, and ascend to the Sky as the Pleaides.

Tau is a devil deity son of Tupâ the supreme god, wich fight against his sister Agantupyry and was defeated, after that
married Keraná, a popular maiden daughter of Tumé Arandú.
Father of the Great Monsters, at present day the children of the couple
were inmortalized in the Sky as the Pleaides, after their dead burned in a cave. In the fire the planet
Venus was formed,
as well as the Pleaides.
