Travel video about destination Mexico.
Mexico, land of the Maya and Aztec, temples and beaches and with a population of twenty-six million the bubbling metropolis of Mexico City is a maze of streets, flat roofs, skyscrapers and parks. Earthquakes, floods and civil wars created this ‘City Of The Aztecs’. Templo Mayor, the main temple of the Aztecs, lies in the centre of the city, in the large main square, Zocalo. The magnificent Catedral Metropolitana with its massive dimensions and fine stone masonry dominates the square, with equal prominence being given to the Palacinio Nacional, governmental seat of the Mexican President. Mexico City is a vivid metropolis and cosmopolitan city situated on a plateau in the central highlands at an altitude of 2, 286 metres, where the food is spicy and the Tequila flows freely! The city's fascinating history is reflected in both its art and architecture with age old charm, Indian roots and elegant buildings.
Until the Spanish conquest, the Templo Mayor was the setting of coronations and human sacrifice. The remains of the walls within which thousands of priests once lived are only a few steps from the buildings of the country's former Spanish conquerors.

At the tip of Baja California Sur you will find the dual destination of Los Cabos. Wondering why they call it a dual destination? Part of the fun comes with exploring the region's two dramatically distinct personas. Tranquil San Jose del Cabo retains the look and vibe of an authentic Mexican town. Cobblestone streets, intimate restaurants and boutiques radiate from the central main square and mission church. Rambunctious Cabo San Lucas, on the other end of the highway (called the Corridor), is party central with funky bars and the slick Luxury Avenue Mall centered around the marina.

Riviera Maya , also known as the Mayan Riviera, is a tourism district following the coastal Highway 307 which parallels the Caribbean coastline of the Mexican state of Quintana Roo, located on the eastern portion of the Yucatán Peninsula. This district historically started at the city of Playa del Carmen and ended at the village of Tulum, although the towns of Puerto Morelos situated to the north and between Playa del Carmen and Cancun as well as the town of Felipe Carrillo Puerto situated 40 kilometres (25 mi) to the south of Tulum are both currently being promoted as part of the Riviera Maya tourist corridor.

In 1519, when the Spanish conquerors reached Tenochtitlan, capital of the Aztec kingdom, they discovered a lagoon paradise with floating gardens, Xochimilco, a labyrinth of lakes and canals, which today can be explored by boat. Known as the Pearl Of The Pacific, Acapulco is a world famous holiday resort of the rich and famous where luxury liners dock each day and endless golden sands beckon a swim under the Caribbean sun. Each evening, the famous cliff jumpers of Acapulco congregate when, from a height of 42 metres, they jump fearlessly from the top of the La Quebrada Cliff into the narrow bay below. In the legendary ruins of Palenque, numerous monuments of the Maya culture can be found such as a palace, and several pyramids and temples. From the air, there is a unique view of the lush growth of the impenetrable forests around Palenque, and of Mexico’s most beautiful waterfalls of Agua Azul. Chichen Itza is thought to have been built by the Mayas around 450 AD and over 500 years later the fighting TOLTEKEN took over the deserted city, which led to two hundred years of prosperity. Located in the north, Tequila is situated at the foot of the likewise named volcano and is world famous because it is here that the Mexican national drink is produced. But Mexico is much more than a drink…it is a feast for all the senses!

Travel video about destination Mexico City in Mexico.
Construction of the country's largest cathedral, the Catedral Metropolitana, took 250 years. The lower section is quite plain but the upper section is of Baroque and Neo-Classical design. Spanish administrative buildings and private houses in the heart of the city have replaced the temples of ancient Mexico and has resulted in a synthesis of both old and new architectural styles.
An elevator ascends the Torre Latino America, an earthquake-proof tower that was built in 1958. A viewing platform provides a wonderful panoramic view that includes the Palacio de Bellas Artes and the Juárez Monument.
Located 50 kilometres from Mexico City are the ancient remains of Teotihuacan that was once a centre of trade, art and ritual ceremonies. At its zenith in 500 A.D., it was as large as Rome and its Sun Pyramid is one of the greatest building achievements of ancient times. In 1988 ,Unesco attributed this complex as being 'one of the most important cultural centres of mankind'.
The author Pablo Neruda once said: 'No other land on Earth possesses such remarkable human profoundness than Mexico and its inhabitants'. For surprises, sights and history galore, Mexico has to be at the top of the list!

Cancun is a city in southeastern Mexico, located on the southeast coast of the Yucatán Peninsula in the Mexican state of Quintana Roo. It is a major world-renowned tourist destination, as well as being the seat of the municipality of Benito Juárez. The city is located on the Caribbean Sea, and is one of the easternmost points in Mexico. Cancún is located just north of Mexico's Caribbean coast resort band known as the Riviera Maya.
The most important places to visit in Cancun are: Chichen Itza (the world famous Mayan ruins with thousands of years of history are one of the most visited sites in the world), Isla Mujeres (Cancun is surrounded by spectacular scenery. Isla Mujeres, a small gorgeous island close to Cancun, is simply spectacular), Cenotes (these magical underwater natural pools are a big draw around the Cancun area. Many have rocky edge formations above them), Tulum (outside of Cancun, a unique site. You can go for a swim in turquoise waters and visit the famous ruins of Mayan civilization), Cancun beaches (Cancun, located in the Yucatan region of Mexico, has many great attractions. Start with the white sand beaches of Cancun City) and many more.
This video offers a lot of tips to help you plan the perfect vacation. If you want to save time and money, the most important Cancun travel tip is to compare prices before booking a hotel room or a flight. You can do this for free on http://bookinghunter.com, a site that searches through hundreds of other travel websites in real time for the best travel deals available.

From Cancun to Isla Mujeres to Tulum to Playa del Carmen, Mexico is a great place to travel to. When I told people I was going to Mexico, they said "Kristen! It's so dangerous there!" For the record: I never felt threatened or in danger once. VIVA MEXICO! I love Mexico.
This video was sponsored by the JW Marriott Cancun Resort & Spa, CasaMagna Marriott Cancun Resort and Diamond PR. If you are looking for an excellent place to stay while in Cancun, check out both Marriotts.

North American's often refer to Los Cabos as Land's End as it is located on the southernmost tip of the Baja Peninsula south of California. Thanks to its close proximity to the U.S., Los Cabos has been greatly influenced by North America in terms of developments, shopping malls, real estate and vibe. However, the remarkable setting where the sapphire Sea of Cortez meets desert and mountains is unique to Los Cabos.

Alex Newman joins Pete Santilli to explain exactly who El Chapo Guzman, the CIA Drug Lord who just escaped from a Mexican prison, really is. Alex has done extensive research and reporting on Sinaloa Cartel drug lord Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman dating back to 2011 when it was then revealed by CIA and FBI whistleblowers that Guzman was given the red light and CIA protection to run drugs and guns across the border as part of the failed Fast And Furious debacle. Experts say the money that flowed across the border from the Sinaloa Drug Cartel in 2009 saved the banks when the mortgage crisis threatened to bring down the economy.
About Alex Newman: Alex Newman is a liberty-minded journalist, educator and consultant. In addition to serving as a Europe-based foreign correspondent for The New American magazine, Alex also writes for numerous publications in the United States and abroad including WorldNetDaily, Crisis magazine, Liberty magazine, and more. He also serves as the president of Liberty Sentinel Media, Inc., a small media and information consulting firm, and teaches Advanced Economics to high school seniors through Freedom Project Education. Though born in Florida, Alex grew up on four continents and speaks four languages fluently. He received an associate's degree in foreign languages from Miami Dade College and his bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Florida with an emphasis on economics and international relations

50th Anniversary of Korea-Mexico Diplomatic Relations - Martha Ortiz de Rosas, Mexican Ambassador to Korea
한국ㆍ멕시코 수교 50년! - 마르타 오르티스 데 로사스(Martha Ortiz de Rosas) 주한 멕시코대사
Celebrating the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Mexico and Korea, we meet Martha Ortiz de Rosas, Mexican Ambassador to Korea, and listen to the stories of the country that is full of UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
Born in Mexico City, Ambassador Ortiz de Rosas received extensive education in social sciences, economics, arts and languages and joined the Mexican Foreign Service in 1971. From 1994 to 2004 she served as head of Mexican Consulates in the USA including Boston, Massachusetts, and McAllen, Texas, and Consul General in Sydney, Australia, and Portland, Oregon. After serving as Ambassador of Mexico to Australia, she was appointed as ambassador to Korea in 2010.
Since then, the ambassador has been leading many cultural trade activities between Korea and Mexico because she thinks that the best way for the two countries to get closer is to have them learn each other's cultural aspects such as food, lifestyle, arts, and music. So far Korea has expanded its way into Mexico in the fields of plant construction, automobile, and steel industry and recorded a trade surplus of ten billion dollars.
As this year celebrates the 50th anniversary of Korea-Mexico ties, Ambassador Ortiz de Rosas is planning a variety of cultural events in Korea, including exhibitions on Maya Civilization and Mexican painter Frida Kahlo and Mexican food seminars.
On "Heart to Heart", the ambassador takes us to the wonderful world of Mexican history, tourism and food culture.

Linguists describe Maya as Yucatec or Yucatec Maya to disambiguate any sort of complication with various other Mayan languages. Maya is one language in the Mayan language family. Hence, to describe Maya as Mayans would certainly resemble referring to Americans as Germanics considering that they speak a language belonging to the Germanic language family.

TRAVEL GUIDE: Exploring Mexico
From Cancun to Isla Mujeres to Tulum to Playa del Carmen, Mexico is a great place to travel to. When I told people I was going to Mexico, they said "Kristen! It's so dangerous there!" For the record: I never felt threatened or in danger once. VIVA MEXICO! I love Mexico.

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico Travel Guide - Must-See Attractions
Check Our Website : http://www.travels1001nights.com
At the tip of Baja California Sur you will find the dual destination of Los Cabos. Wondering why they call it a dual destination? Part of the fun comes with exploring the region's two dramatically distinct personas. Tranquil San Jose del Cabo retains the look and vibe of an authentic Mexican town. Cobblestone streets, intimate restaurants and boutiques radiate from the central main square and mission church. Rambunctious Cabo San Lucas, on the other end of the highway (called the Corridor), is party central with funky bars and the slick Luxury Avenue Mall centered around the marina.

Pete Santilli Episode #1016 - Escaped Mexican Drug Lord (El Chapo Guzman) Threatens Donald Trump
Presidential candidate Donald Trump has asked the FBI to look into a threatening tweet he received in the wake of a post on the social network he wrote about Mexican drug lord El Chapo, who recently escaped from prison.
