My first attempt at winter kayaking down the Maurice River in NJ. I was not in my usual kayak, but I doubt that would have helped much. Here is a little montage of the first part of the trip. I am glad I did not tackle the second half. Enjoy. I borrowed some sound effect. Please visit their pages.

Maurice River
The Maurice River is a tributary of Delaware Bay in Salem County and Cumberland County, New Jersey in the United States. The river was named for Maurice, Prince of Orange.
Watershed and course
The Maurice River, pronounced "Morris," is approximately 50 mi (80 km) long with a drainage area of 386 sq mi (1,000 km2). It is the second longest and second largest tributary to Delaware Bay. Its watershed includes an extensive southern portion of the coastal forested wetlands known as the Pine Barrens. Its mouth on Delaware Bay is surrounded by extensive salt marshes and has provided an historically important oystering ground.
It is born at the confluence of Still Run and Scotland Run, beneath the waters of Willow Grove Lake in Pittsgrove, Salem County and flows generally south-southeast, passing 2 miles (3 km) west of Vineland. At Millville it is impounded to form the Union Lake reservoir, approximately 3 miles (5 km) long. South of Millville it becomes navigable, forming a 10-mile (16 km) estuary that empties into Maurice River Cove on Delaware Bay. The estuary is joined from the northeast by Manantico Creek, the Manumuskin River, and Muskee Creek.

River
A river is a natural flowing watercourse, usually freshwater, flowing towards an ocean, sea, lake or another river. In some cases a river flows into the ground and becomes dry at the end of its course without reaching another body of water. Small rivers can be referred to using names such as stream, creek, brook, rivulet, and rill. There are no official definitions for the generic term river as applied to geographic features, although in some countries or communities a stream is defined by its size. Many names for small rivers are specific to geographic location; examples are "run" in some parts of the United States, "burn" in Scotland and northeast England, and "beck" in northern England. Sometimes a river is defined as being larger than a creek, but not always: the language is vague.
Rivers are part of the hydrological cycle. Water generally collects in a river from precipitation through a drainage basin from surface runoff and other sources such as groundwater recharge, springs, and the release of stored water in natural ice and snowpacks (e.g. from glaciers). Potamology is the scientific study of rivers while limnology is the study of inland waters in general.

New Jersey
New Jersey is a state in the Northeastern and Middle Atlantic regions of the United States. It is bordered on the north and east by New York, on the southeast and south by the Atlantic Ocean, on the west by Pennsylvania, and on the southwest by Delaware. New Jersey is the fourth-smallest state, but the 11th-most populous and the most densely populated of the 50 United States. New Jersey lies entirely within the combined statistical areas of New York City and Philadelphia and is the second-wealthiest U.S. state by median household income as of 2014.
New Jersey was inhabited by Native Americans for more than 2,800 years, with historical tribes such as the Lenape along the coast. In the early 17th century, the Dutch and the Swedes made the first European settlements. The English later seized control of the region, naming it the Province of New Jersey after the largest of the Channel Islands, Jersey, and granting it as a colony to Sir George Carteret and John Berkeley, 1st Baron Berkeley of Stratton. New Jersey was the site of several decisive battles during the American Revolutionary War in the 18th century.

River Township, Red Lake County, Minnesota
River Township is a township in Red Lake County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 65 at the 2000 census.
River Township was named after the Red Lake River.
Geography
According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 11.8 square miles (30.5 km²), all of it land.
Demographics
As of the census of 2000, there were 65 people, 25 households, and 17 families residing in the township. The population density was 5.5 people per square mile (2.1/km²). There were 28 housing units at an average density of 2.4/sq mi (0.9/km²). The racial makeup of the township was 95.38% White, and 4.62% from two or more races.
There were 25 households out of which 44.0% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 64.0% were married couples living together, 4.0% had a female householder with no husband present, and 32.0% were non-families. 28.0% of all households were made up of individuals and 16.0% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.60 and the average family size was 3.29.

• Ile des Deux Cocos. Σε πέντε λεπτά με το ταχύπλοο είστε από το Blue Bay στον παράδεισο αυτού του ιδιωτικού νησιού.
• Ile aux Cerfes. Το νησάκι στην ανατολική ακτή είναι η πιο γνωστή καρτποστάλ από τον Μαυρίκιο.
• Pamplemousse Gardens. Από τα πιο δημοφιλή αξιοθέατα στον Μαυρίκιο και από τους παλαιότερους κήπους στον κόσμο.
• Γη των Επτά Χρωμάτων - Καταρράκτες του Chamarel
• Tamarin Falls. Είναι δύσκολο να φτάσετε ( με 4x4 ), όμως οι επτά καταρράκτες που πέφτουν ορμητικά από ύψος 293 μ. θα σας αποζημιώσουν με το θέαμα και τις εικόνες που προσφέρουν στη δυτική ακτή και την κατάφυτη χερσόνησο Le Morne. Μπορείτε και να κολυμπήσετε στη φυσική πισίνα που σχηματίζεται στη βάση τους.
• La Vanille Crocodile - Tortoise Park. Πολλοί κροκόδειλοι, γιγάντιες χελώνες, πίθηκοι, ιγκουάνα και διάφορα άλλα ζώα σε ένα τροπικό περιβάλλον κατάφυτο με εξωτικά δέντρα και γιγάντια μπαμπού.

• Ile aux Cerfes. Το νησάκι στην ανατολική ακτή είναι η πιο γνωστή καρτποστάλ από τον Μαυρίκιο.

So far tourism in Uganda is one of the top income and foreign exchange earners of Ugandan’s economy 2.7 trillion annually.
As Maurice Ochol reports ,RSA Safari cruiser a company based in tanzania has been in charge of making vehicles for tour companies in Africa which cost quite a lot for tour companies especially for the ones that are just starting in Uganda.

From the northern plains, the land rises to a central plateau dotted by lakes and extinct volcanic craters. A few uninhabited islets area are scattered around the main island.
Port Louis, the capital of Mauritius, was founded by the French governor and colonist Bertrand-François Mahé de La Bourdonnais in 1735. Situated on the north-west coast, Port Louis is the business and administrative capital of Mauritius. Packed with office-workers during the day, it quickly quietens down after office-hours allowing visitors to enjoy a night out along the famous Caudan Waterfront.
The south reveals a dramatically different landscape from the rest of the island: one typified by high cliffs in places that are battered by waves. These are created where the protective barrier of coral reef that surrounds Mauritius falls away on the seabed, so leaving the coastline exposed to a punishing Indian Ocean. But the south is not singularly about cliffs and rough waters. Further round the coastline, heading westwards, are an array of beautiful beaches and top-rate hotels and resorts, in up-and-coming areas such as Bel Ombre.
The eastern coastline of Mauritius is comprised of exquisite coves and emerald lagoons, permanently enhanced by a cool sea breeze: life goes by at a slow pace in the east whether you're a member of the fishing community or a holidaymaker. Situated between the mountains and the sea, the east is characterised by charming little villages with poetic names like Petite Julie, Mare d'Australia and Queen Victoria. It also plays home to some of the country's best beaches, including Belle Mare, where you will want to spend hours basking in the sun, glorying in the sight of the long stretch of white sand.
To the west and south west of Mauritius off Tamarin Bay or Flic en Flac, heading in the direction of Île aux Benitiers, you can see the dolphins that come to these waters to rest and breed. The Morne Mountain, with its historical links to slavery, can also be found in this region --as well as some fine hotels known for their wide choice of watersports. Slightly inland, in the hills around Chamarel, is the rum distillery that bears the name of the village. Here, you can learn about rum production and taste some of the delightful produce.
Inland & Central Plateau of Mauritius is the 'highlands' where you will discover the island's four other major towns. In Quatre Bornes, head for the local market if you want to do some bargain-hunting. In Curepipe, where it is generally cooler than elsewhere on the island, try visiting the botanical gardens. In the early evening the gardens of the Plaza -- the municipal theatre of the town of Rose Hill -- fill up with families who come to relax and enjoy an ice--cream. This is a heart-warming sight definitely worth beholding. Vacoas, meanwhile, is most renowned for its Gymkhana Golf Club the oldest in the southern hemisphere.

Bourg-Saint-Maurice, popularly known as Bourg, is a commune in the Savoie department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region in south-eastern France. It is the last large town along the Tarentaise valley in the heart of the French Alps.
Bergintrum was a place on the Gallic side of the pass of the Alpes Graiae, lying on the road marked in the Antonine Itinerary between Mediolanum (modern Milan) and Vienna (modern Vienne). D'Anville (Notice, etc.) places it, according to the Table, between Axima (modern Aime) and Alpis Graia. The distance from Bergintrum to Axima is marked viiii M. P. The Alpis Graia is usually identified with a settlement at the watershed on the pass of the Little Saint Bernard, which divides the waters that flow to the Isère on the French side from those that flow to the Dora Baltea on the Italian side. This is the place D'Anville calls l'Hôpital, on the authority of a manuscript map of the country. D'Anville first proposed the identification of Bergintrum with Bourg-Saint-Maurice; although he acknowledged that xii, the distance in the Table between Bergintrum and Alpis Graia, does not fit the distance between Bourg-Saint-Maurice and l'Hôpital, which is less. Modern scholarship confirms the identification.
Bourg-Saint-Maurice is part of the Paradiski ski area (425 km of slopes, 141 lifts, 239 slopes - 12 Green, 132 Blue, 66 Red, 29 Black). Although there is no skiing at this altitude, it is conveniently linked to Arc 1600 by the Arc en Ciel funicular railway and is therefore home to many budget rental properties. Unlike the villages that make up Les Arcs, Bourg-Saint-Maurice is open all year.
Bourg is also a popular summer destination, as it offers lots of opportunity for lovers of the outdoors and watersports. There is a whitewater slalom course on the Isere river used for international canoe and kayak competitions. The course on the Isere has been host to the ICF world championships and is used by many European teams as a training course in the summer. The course is often changed by the floods that occur during the winter months.
The surrounding mountains are good for walking and mountain biking. They also are a good place for paragliding and hang gliding. Some of Les Arcs ski lifts operate during July and August to get walkers to the higher peaks and you can take mountain bikes up on these. Mountain bikes (vélo tout terrain or VTT in French) can be hired in both Bourg and Les Arcs. Some of the high altitude restaurants open in these months, the ones at Pre st Esprit and L'Arpete have small outdoor pools.
The nearest summer glacier skiing is in Tignes (approximately 27 km from Bourg) on the Grande Motte; due to glacial recession, however, it is now closed at certain times of the year. The French ski mountaineer Bertrand Blanc was born in Bourg-Saint-Maurice on October 29, 1973.

Its symbolical significance has been highlighted in 'The Aesthetics of Coolitude', devised by poet and semiologist Khal Torabully.
Corner House - A fabulous stationery shop, selling all kinds of wonderful pens, pencils and books. Excellent service and a great range of goods. Has the most eccentric shopkeeper. Worth visiting just to see him.

Οι ινδουιστές αποτελούν το ήμισυ του πληθυσμού, ενώ περίπου το ένα πέμπτο είναι μουσουλμάνοι – θρησκείες που ασπάζονταν οι σκλάβοι που δούλευαν στις φυτείες του ζαχαροκάλαμου την εποχή που το νησί ήταν βρετανική αποικία. Μαζί με Κρεολούς ( απόγονοι Αφρικανών σκλάβων ), Κινέζους και Γάλλους επίγονους συναπαρτίζουν το πολυπολιτισμικό μωσαϊκό αυτού του ηφαιστειογενούς νησιού-έθνος που βρίσκεται 2.000 χλμ. πέρα από τη νοτιοανατολική ακτή της Αφρικής.

Το ψάρεμα σε ανοιχτή θάλασσα ( deep sea fishing ) αποτελεί μέγα τοπικό «πάθος» – από τον Νοέμβρη ως τον Απρίλιο όλα τα μεγάλα ξενοδοχεία οργανώνουν με δικό τους σκάφος εξορμήσεις προς αναζήτηση καρχαριών, κιτρινόπτερου τόνου, μπαρακούντα. • Pamplemousse Gardens. Από τα πιο δημοφιλή αξιοθέατα στον Μαυρίκιο και από τους παλαιότερους κήπους στον κόσμο.
• Γη των Επτά Χρωμάτων - Καταρράκτες του Chamarel
• Tamarin Falls. Είναι δύσκολο να φτάσετε ( με 4x4 ), όμως οι επτά καταρράκτες που πέφτουν ορμητικά από ύψος 293 μ. θα σας αποζημιώσουν με το θέαμα και τις εικόνες που προσφέρουν στη δυτική ακτή και την κατάφυτη χερσόνησο Le Morne. Σε μια θαυμάσια τοποθεσία κοντά στο Flic en Flac, το πάρκο φιλοξενεί περίπου 140 είδη πουλιών από όλο τον κόσμο, μεταξύ των οποίων και το ροζ περιστέρι του Μαυρίκιου, είδος υπό εξαφάνιση. On first listening, his hypnotic North African electronica conjures the notion of how Adrian Sherwood’s classic On-U Sound productions might have sounded had he grown up in Egypt. Louca also provides this year’s Sun City Girls connection as Alan Bishop pops up blasting a sax midway through latest album Benhayyi Al-Baghbaghan (Salute The Parrot). Released on Khyam Allami’s Nawa label last year, the record is also infused with the dream-state vocals of Electro Chaabi MC Alaa 5, Louca deftly applying fat-bottomed dub aesthetics to his psychedelic take on shaabi in a way that you may find immediately irresistible. There’s both a timelessness and an immediacy to Louca’s music that, paired with its sublime cultural splicing, can cause total psychic displacement – not to be listened to whilst operating heavy machinery.

Trois-Rivières is a city situated in the Mauricie region of Quebec, Canada, located at the confluence of the Saint-Maurice and Saint Lawrence Rivers. It is approximately halfway between Montreal and Quebec City. Traditionally, Trois-Rivières was referred to in English as Three Rivers. The city's name, which is French for three rivers, is named for the fact that the Saint-Maurice River, which is divided by two small islands at the river's opening, has three mouths at the Saint Lawrence River. The city's inhabitants are known as "Trifluviens" (Trifluvians). The Trois-Rivières metropolitan area also includes the city of Bécancour which is situated on the south shore of the St. Lawrence River across the Laviolette Bridge.
In 1st July 2012 Bikrampur Association of Montreal organized a picnic party at a magnificent place in Trois-Rivières on the bank of St. Lawrence River. This video reflects glimpses of the scenic beauty of that area and the picnic party.

McConnell claims that Serco‘s 8(a) digital fires experts used Paddock’s phony mentor-protégé contracts to procure the surveillance drones which allowed CAI to take insider bets in VIP Junket Rooms on the time a high-value target would die or bets on the body count for low-value targets such as the five friends from Argentina, Hernán Diego Mendoza, Diego Enrique Angelini, Alejandro Damián Pagnucco, Ariel Erlij and Hernán Ferruchi, who were murdered on the bike path by a man with a Serco diversity visa.
