A beautiful day along the world famous shopping street in Beverly Hills, Rodeo Drive. All high fashion brands got stores along the street, Gucci, Armani, Dior, Versace and all of the rest. This is where the stars go for shopping and it's quite common to see some during a visit. A lot of the movie Pretty Woman with Richard Gere and Julia Roberts was filmed along this street and the hotell at the end of it, Beverly Wilshire Hotel. Even if you're not rich, a visit here can be nice just to take a walk along the street or sip on a glas of wine in a restaurants in the area.

Greystone Mansion and Park, owned by the City of Beverly Hills and situated on 18.3 acres, is magnificent in beauty and rich in California history. Greystone Mansion was designed by the renowned Southern Californian architect Gordon B. Kaufmann and the landscape architect was Paul G. Thiene. The land was a wedding gift from oil tycoon Edward L. Doheny, Sr. to his son, Edward "Ned" Doheny, Jr. and his wife. Following the purchase of the Estate in 1965 by the City of Beverly Hills, in 1971 the entire 18.3 acre site, including its centerpiece Greystone Mansion, was formally dedicated as a public park. In 1976 the Greystone Estate was officially recognized as a historic landmark and entered into the National Registry of Historic Places. The Mansion and the grounds are often used in filmmaking and television production. The house's descending staircase is one of the most famous sets in Hollywood.
There are fifty-five livable rooms within the 46,054 square feet of space in the Mansion. Built in 1927, the Doheny family moved into the residence in September of 1928. The entire estate took over three years to complete at a cost of over $3 million, an almost unimaginable sum in real estate at the time. The Mansion alone cost $1,238,378.76 to build.

Luxurious Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, California
A beautiful day along the world famous shopping street in Beverly Hills, Rodeo Drive. All high fashion brands got stores along the street, Gucci, Armani, Dior, Versace and all of the rest. This is where the stars go for shopping and it's quite common to see some during a visit. This is where the stars go for shopping and it's quite common to see some during a visit. A lot of the movie Pretty Woman with Richard Gere and Julia Roberts was filmed along this street and the hotell at the end of it, Beverly Wilshire Hotel. Even if you're not rich, a visit here can be nice just to take a walk along the street or sip on a glas of wine in a restaurants in the area.

Greystone Mansion was designed by the renowned Southern Californian architect Gordon B. Kaufmann and the landscape architect was Paul G. Thiene. The land was a wedding gift from oil tycoon Edward L. Doheny, Sr. to his son, Edward "Ned" Doheny, Jr. and his wife. Following the purchase of the Estate in 1965 by the City of Beverly Hills, in 1971 the entire 18.3 acre site, including its centerpiece Greystone Mansion, was formally dedicated as a public park. In 1976 the Greystone Estate was officially recognized as a historic landmark and entered into the National Registry of Historic Places. The Mansion and the grounds are often used in filmmaking and television production. The house's descending staircase is one of the most famous sets in Hollywood.
There are fifty-five livable rooms within the 46,054 square feet of space in the Mansion. Built in 1927, the Doheny family moved into the residence in September of 1928. The entire estate took over three years to complete at a cost of over $3 million, an almost unimaginable sum in real estate at the time. The Mansion alone cost $1,238,378.76 to build.

Tip No. 8: If your favorite hotel or campground is booked, try again seven days in advance. This is when many people cancel their reservations to avoid penalties.

Hi guys, I'm Veronica Hill with California Travel Tips. If you're a subscriber to this channel, you're either planning a trip to California, or you're a resident looking for new places to check out. Today I'm going to share some of my Top 10 travel tips for visiting California like a local.
Tip No. 1: Book California State Park campgrounds exactly 7 months before you want to visit on http://www.ReserveAmerica.com. If you're hoping to score a busy holiday like the Fourth of July, reserve a few dates in the end of June, then add a few days to your visit. Securing a campground in Yosemite is also tricky. You'll need to log into http://www.Recreation.gov a few minutes before 7 a.m. on the 15th of the month — five months in advance of your visit. Popular campgrounds in the valley sell out in seconds! For example, if you want to book a stay between June 15 and July 14, you need to book on February 15.

If you’re looking for something a little off the beaten path, Crystal Cove is the place for you. Where else can you stay in antique cabins put together from old Hollywood movie sets? Not in Newport Beach, where sprawling, million-dollar homes line the harbor. Can you believe you could once buy lots here for $1 an acre?
Hit the waves in Huntington Beach, then head inland to explore the theme parks. The grandfather of all amusement parks is Disneyland®: it’s stood in Anaheim since 1965. Lady Gaga accepts the Jane Ortner awards during a fundraising luncheon at the Green Acres estate in Beverly Hills CA benefiting the Grammy museum. I was able to catch most of this but we were pulled away near the end to get ready for a photo with Gaga. So I filmed the tent we were in from afar but got most of the audio. I put pics with Me, my man Gerry, and Gaga through the years at the end. We had planned this trip to California from VA way in advance and then heard she would be there at the last minute. We were able to get tickets through charity buzz which included a meet and greet.

I was able to catch most of this but we were pulled away near the end to get ready for a photo with Gaga. So I filmed the tent we were in from afar but got most of the audio. I put pics with Me, my man Gerry, and Gaga through the years at the end. We had planned this trip to California from VA way in advance and then heard she would be there at the last minute. We were able to get tickets through charity buzz which included a meet and greet.
