Highlights of the 1993 fight between Greg Haugen and Julio Cesar Chavez for the WBC Light Welterweight Title. It was one of the largest gates produced in boxing, where approximately 130000 spectators were in attendance for this fight in the Estadio Azteca of Mexico City.
Greg Haugen infamously said "All he's fought are Tijuana taxi drivers.", implying that Chavez have built an impressive-looking record with many knockout wins against relatively poor opposition.
Chavez was still unbeaten at 84-0 (72 Knockouts) and Haugen was 32-4-1 (16 Knockouts) at the time of this fight. Haugen at that time had never been stopped and had losses only against top opposition - twice against Vinny Pazienza, a close decision against Hector Camacho and Pernell Whitaker, arguably the greatest defensive fighter in the sport of boxing.
It was an unforgettable beatdown delivered by Chavez, fueled by Haugen's "Tijuana taxi drivers" comment.

In honor of the 30th Anniversary of SHOWTIME CHAMPIONSHIP BOXING, look back as Chavez retained his WBC Super Lightweight title in front of one of the largest crowds in boxing history.

It might not look very heavy, but the Thomas Inch dumbbell is one of the hardest implements to lift with one hand, for a couple reasons — one, the handle is about the same circumference as a coke can. Try getting a good grip on that thing. And two, it weighs 172 lbs. Add the two together and you get an implement that time and time again humbles otherwise strong men. But lifting the Thomas Inch dumbbell is something that Odd Haugen is particularly well-suited for, having one of the best grips of all time. In this Rogue Record Breaker event, Haugen attempts to lift the dumbbell a record 66 times — one lift for every year of his life — in 10 minutes.

Cesar Chavez
Cesar Chavez (born César Estrada Chávez, locally: [ˈsesaɾ esˈtɾaða ˈtʃaβes]; March 31, 1927 – April 23, 1993) was an American farm worker, labor leader and civil rights activist, who, with Dolores Huerta, co-founded the National Farm Workers Association (later the United Farm Workers union, UFW).
A Mexican American, Chavez became the best known Latino American civil rights activist, and was strongly promoted by the American labor movement, which was eager to enroll Hispanic members. His public-relations approach to unionism and aggressive but nonviolent tactics made the farm workers' struggle a moral cause with nationwide support. By the late 1970s, his tactics had forced growers to recognize the UFW as the bargaining agent for 50,000 field workers in California and Florida. However, by the mid-1980s membership in the UFW had dwindled to around 15,000.
During his lifetime, Colegio Cesar Chavez was one of the few institutions named in his honor, but after his death he became a major historical icon for the Latino community, with many schools, streets, and parks being named after him. He has since become an icon for organized labor and leftist politics, symbolizing support for workers and for Hispanic empowerment based on grass roots organizing. He is also famous for popularizing the slogan "Sí, se puede" (Spanish for "Yes, one can" or, roughly, "Yes, it can be done"), which was adopted as the 2008 campaign slogan of Barack Obama. His supporters say his work led to numerous improvements for union laborers. Although the UFW faltered after a few years, after Chavez died in 1993 he became an iconic "folk saint" in the pantheon of Mexican Americans. His birthday, March 31, has become Cesar Chavez Day, a state holiday in California, Colorado, and Texas.

Thomas Inch
Thomas Inch (27 December 1881 in Scarborough, England – 12 December 1963) held the titles of Britain's Strongest Youth and Britain's Strongest Man.
He is known for the Thomas Inch dumbbell, known as "172", a dumbbell that weighs 172 lbs and 9 ounces. It was extremely difficult to lift, partly due to its weight, but primarily because its handle was very thick (2 3/8 inches in diameter) making it difficult to hold on to without an outstandingly strong grip. There were numerous reports that there was a hole in the original 'bell, in which Thomas would place a nail; thus allowing him to arrest any rotation and lift it.
In 1909 he refused to compete in a weightlifting match against the Austrian strongman Max Sick (Maxick), who had recently arrived in London. However, by 1910 Inch had become a heavyweight and so relinquished his middleweight title to Edward Aston, and a competition was quickly arranged against Sick.

Be with Me
Be with Me is a 2005 Singaporean drama film directed by Eric Khoo. The film is inspired by the life of deaf-and-blind teacher Theresa Poh Lin Chan. It premiered as the Director's Fortnight selection in the 2005 Cannes Film Festival. It was also the official entry from Singapore for the 78th Academy Awards in the foreign language category. In December 2005, the Academy body disqualified the film on grounds that the dialogue is mainly in English. Out of 93 minutes, the film only has two and a half minutes of dialogue.
Be with Me is the first film in Singapore to explicitly feature a lesbian relationship.

Following his heart and with good intentions, Yohan makes decisions that are misunderstood by local adults and are sabotaged by other envious children. Unjustly accused, he is punished and beaten by Nome. Events only get worse, with wild animals attacking Nome's herd on Yohan's watch and Yohan's discovery that his friend Anna and her brother have been beaten at a neighboring farm. Highlights of the 1993 fight between Greg Haugen and Julio Cesar Chavez for the WBC Light Welterweight Title. It was one of the largest gates produced in boxing, where approximately 130000 spectators were in attendance for this fight in the Estadio Azteca of Mexico City.
Greg Haugen infamously said "All he's fought are Tijuana taxi drivers.", implying that Chavez have built an impressive-looking record with many knockout wins against relatively poor opposition.
Chavez was still unbeaten at 84-0 (72 Knockouts) and Haugen was 32-4-1 (16 Knockouts) at the time of this fight. Haugen at that time had never been stopped and had losses only against top opposition - twice against Vinny Pazienza, a close decision against Hector Camacho and Pernell Whitaker, arguably the greatest defensive fighter in the sport of boxing.
It was an unforgettable beatdown delivered by Chavez, fueled by Haugen's "Tijuana taxi drivers" comment.
