The second of three EP instalments from his forthcoming artist album Degeneration, Sean Tyas returns with another forward thinking, ambidextrous slice of cutting edge music. Three unique records possessing the trademark Degenerate attitude and punch. Degeneration EP Volume 1 gave you straight up 140 tech (Way Down in Mexico), techno (9am) and breaks (Swarm) of the highest order, and here in this second chapter we present a full on psychedelic masterpiece in the form of Vagabond, a heads down hard and unrelenting techno battering-ram that is Ambush and the sublime, movie-esque, liquid drum & bass soundscape - Diffuse. Few manage to express themselves so successfully, so effectively across multiple genres while still retaining a tight grip on their roots and their core sound. Once again Sean shows us that he while he is an entity that refuses to be pigeon-holed - he is able to explore all sides to his repertoire without raising any eyebrows. He is a true master of his studio and the tools contained therein and so why regurgitate when this ability drives you to innovate? The story of The Degenerate continues…

Sean Tyas
Sean Tyas /ˈtaɪəz/ is an American DJ and electronic music producer based in Switzerland. The genre of his productions and DJ sets can be broadly categorized as trance.
Career
Sean Tyas burst onto the scene in 2006, after Sander van Doorn selected him as the winner of the “Punk’d” remix contest. Shortly after releasing his debut single and first #1 record (Lift), Mixmag & Beatport named him “Best New DJ” and “One To Watch,” marking the beginning of Tyas’ journey to becoming one of the most celebrated names in trance music. Throughout his 8-year career, he’s racked up a multitude of landmark achievements, including a much lauded BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix to his credit—a rare feat by any trance artist. His discography is filled with 5 mix compilations and an impressive amount of #1 hits, such as his unforgettable remix of Dash Berlin and Emma Hewitt’s “Waiting,” and his ground breaking single “Seven Weeks,” which spent an astounding 12 weeks at #1. Often known for turning a great track into a monster hit of ‘tytanic’ proportions, his remix credits include reworks for early Tiësto, Above & Beyond, Dash Berlin, Lange, Gareth Emery, and a co-production (Intricacy) with Armin van Buuren to name a few.

Armin:"A big, big thank you for all visitors of Armin Only -- Mirage, thank you so much for sharing this unique Mirage experience with all of us! It's been my pleasure to have you all part of the show, without you guys the show would never have been such a success. Mirage is the biggest project I've ever done. The event in Utrecht, that was sold out a month in advance, was set up to make it as much of an innovative experience as possible.
For over a year, I've worked real hard on the Mirage album, so it was a big honor and very cool to be collaborating with an entire rock band, a classical orchestra and other renowned artists. I'm extremely proud that the album is being listened to by people from all across the globe. I'm very much looking forward to the Armin Only Mirage shows that are scheduled in Buenos Aires (Argentina), Melbourne (Australia), Beirut (Libanon) and Bratislava (Slovakia).
Next year, we will celebrate the 500th A State of Trance radioshow. To celebrate it, we will be having 5 fantastic events within 5 weeks across 5 continents. More information on this, including info on my podcasts can be found on www.astateoftrance.com .

15.000 people have had the night of their lives. They've enjoyed a spectacular show, stunning live performances and a great 9 hour DJ set. Man of the night, Armin van Buuren, looks back onto an unforgettable kick off to his Armin Only - Mirage tour.
Armin:"A big, big thank you for all visitors of Armin Only -- Mirage, thank you so much for sharing this unique Mirage experience with all of us! It's been my pleasure to have you all part of the show, without you guys the show would never have been such a success. Mirage is the biggest project I've ever done. The event in Utrecht, that was sold out a month in advance, was set up to make it as much of an innovative experience as possible.
For over a year, I've worked real hard on the Mirage album, so it was a big honor and very cool to be collaborating with an entire rock band, a classical orchestra and other renowned artists. I'm extremely proud that the album is being listened to by people from all across the globe. I'm very much looking forward to the Armin Only Mirage shows that are scheduled in Buenos Aires (Argentina), Melbourne (Australia), Beirut (Libanon) and Bratislava (Slovakia).
Next year, we will celebrate the 500th A State of Trance radioshow. To celebrate it, we will be having 5 fantastic events within 5 weeks across 5 continents. More information on this, including info on my podcasts can be found on www.astateoftrance.com .
