Thomas Popielarski, better known as his stage name, Arctic Moon (born c. 1988) is a Polish DJ and Music Producer who hails from Szczecin, Poland. In 2012 and in 2013, he ranked in the DJ Mag top 200 DJ's in the world. As such, Armin Van Buuren whom is ranked #2 as of 2013, used Arctic Moon's remixed track "Coming Home" for the remix version of the album titled "Intense - The More Intense Edition."

Biography

Thomas Popielarski, started producing music in late 2003 and in 2004 he began to produce dance/hard dance music under the alias of 'East-NRG System'.

In 2007 he focused on creating uplifting and euphoric trance music encompassing elements of classical, new age, chill out and even rock music.

As the years progressed both quality of his music and his international reputation progressed as well. Arctic Moon became synonymous with labels such as Armada Music and Aly & Fila’s world famous "Future Sound of Egypt Recordings" internet radio show. It was on "Future Sound of Egypt Recordings" that the singles "True Romance" and "Adelaide" were released. The tracks topped the download charts, and gained a massive amount of radio plays and huge gig support from a high number of top DJs.

Moon

The Moon (in Greek: σελήνη Selene, in Latin: Luna) is Earth's only natural satellite. It is one of the largest natural satellites in the Solar System, and, among planetary satellites, the largest relative to the size of the planet it orbits (its primary). It is the second-densest satellite among those whose densities are known (after Jupiter's satellite Io).

The Moon is thought to have formed approximately 4.5 billion years ago, not long after Earth. There are several hypotheses for its origin; the most widely accepted explanation is that the Moon formed from the debris left over after a giant impact between Earth and a Mars-sized body called Theia.

The Moon is in synchronous rotation with Earth, always showing the same face with its near side marked by dark volcanic maria that fill between the bright ancient crustal highlands and the prominent impact craters. It is the second-brightest regularly visible celestial object in Earth's sky after the Sun, as measured by illuminance on Earth's surface. Although it can appear a very bright white, its surface is actually dark, with a reflectance just slightly higher than that of worn asphalt. Its prominence in the sky and its regular cycle of phases have, since ancient times, made the Moon an important cultural influence on language, calendars, art, and mythology.

Andy Blueman

Andrej Komatovič, widely known as Andy Blueman (born 4 September 1982), is a Slovenian trance producer. His release Time to Rest was included in Armin van Buuren's trance compilation A State Of Trance 2008, and Everlasting (Original Mix) was included in A State Of Trance Yearmix 2009. His work Florescence (Epic Mix) was also included in A State Of Trance Yearmix 2010, and ranked 18th best song of 2010 in the TranceFix Top 25 of 2010. Five of his tracks were voted the track of the week (Future Favorite) on A State of Trance, and two of his other tracks won Trance Around the World's weekly web vote. He was the only non-DJ to place in the Top 70 in the Tranceaddict Official 2010 top DJs' poll. Eleven of his tracks were voted amongst the greatest 1000 tracks in the history of trance music out of over 10,000 nominees in the first-ever (2010) Trance Top 1000 poll organized by Armada Music, even though he had only ever worked on 13 trance songs released by the time of the competition.

Aly & Fila

Aly & Fila are an Egyptian trance music duo made up of Aly Amr Fathalah (a.k.a. Aly) and Fadi Wassef Naguib (a.k.a. Fila). They host an Internet radio show called Future Sound of Egypt (every Monday at 4PM US Eastern / 9PM UK / 22:00 Central European Time on Digitally Imported radio). In 2011, their track "We Control The Sunlight", which featured Jwaydan Moyine was chosen as "Tune of the Year" on Armin Van Buuren's show A State of Trance.

History

Aly Amr Fathalah (Aly) and Fadi Wassef Naguib (Fila), the Egyptian duo, were both born in 1981 and have known each other since kindergarten. After falling in love with the music of Paul Van Dyk, The Thrillseekers and Chicane they built their first small studio and started doing electronic music and DJing from 1999. Once they established themselves in Egypt, they decided to go international signing with the German record label Euphonic Records in 2002. Their first release, "Eye of Horus," received huge airplay from the likes of Paul Van Dyk, Armin Van Buuren, DJ Tiësto and many others. The track was licensed to Fundamental Recordings in the Netherlands and reached number 4 position in the Dutch Dance charts.
