Here is the recap video from Sade Champagne Presents: Ventura County's 2013 Vocal Superstar Competition. We once again partnered with the fabulous Thousand Oaks Teen Center to bring back this popular event! I created this event in 2011 to help raise awareness and funds for BrittiCares International which is a nonprofit dedicated to helping children survive cancer, one smile at a time. I also created this event to build a platform for performing artists to showcase their gifts and inspire people to follow their dreams while making a positive impact in their community. The competition is growing so much that for the first time ever we had to add a semi-finals round. 30 kids from all over Ventura County and LA County competed to advance to the finale October 5 as apart of the Top 12. Thanks to my semi finals Celebrity Co-Host Travis Miller and Judges Josef Martin, Cristina Quinones, Sarah Mount, Savannah Van, Brandon Slavinski, Asia Shabazz, Alissa Mae, and Jackie Boyz. Our Finale Celebrity Co-hosts were Laci Kay and Madisen Hill, Our Celebrity Guest Judges included last year's 1st Place winner Sarah Culver, Drew Seeley, Ellenie and Tilky Jones. We also had a Celebrity Guest performance from last year's 2nd Place Winner Donovan Dustin! Our Top 12 finalists were: Aly Feuerborn, Julia Rose Augusta Kelly, Sam Herbert, Kat Monzon, Carly Durrer, Adrianna Dillon, Roman Curiel, Lauren Braganza, Samantha Ja'Naye Grace Fischer, J'Rose, Ny'Aira Collins, and Andrew Muccitelli Congratulations to our winners- Ny'Aira Collins (1st Place), J'Rose (2nd Place), and Aly Feuerborn (MVP Winner). Also congratulations to Brian Figz for winning Semi Finals MVP.
